What a miserable experience and mediocre web site. There is neither Guest Services or Guest Relations at Premier Inn. I made a mistake on an online booking and booked right dates in the wrong month. Could not be fixed from the web site. Called immediately. Guest Services were closed at 5:30 pm. Called the next day, waited 45 minutes on hold, talked to Ann. Told I had to talk to Guest Relations but they were closed. The next day, waited 35 minutes on hold, got Guest Services who put me on hold for 25 minutes, to put me through to Guest Relations. Told that nothing could be done until it became a "Past Booking". The day it became a "Past Booking" I called, and was on hold for 40 minutes, spoke with Robert who said: "you can not receive a refund, nothing can be done". Spoke to Mega, one of the managers who said: "the terms of our online agreement do not allow us to refund you. Asked to speak to her manager. Said her manager was "Ellen but she's not really my manager, she just sort of oversees what I do. She's not available to speak to you." I spent almost as much, on long distance hold, US to Ireland, than the reservation cost. I travel for my living. Have never had worse customer service. read more

After our Belfast Black Taxi tour, our driver dropped us off in the quarter and so we had around a 15 min walk around, before it was back on the bus and heading to Giants Causeway. This Quarter consist of 1) the Titanic museum, which is probably the main attraction and gives the area its name 2) Film Studios - where Game of Thrones is filmed. On the tour bus, when we went past the studio, our guide pointed out the castle turrets, so I got to see a bit of King's Landing set 3) an Arena - our Belfast Black Cab Tour guide talked about how the Arena hosts a lot of musical acts and also is the home to a local ice-hockey team. The ice-hockey team was a way to reconcile Northern Ireland Protestants and Catholics via sport, but it's mostly American, Canadian & Russian players on the team. He also mentioned how when a name was being chosen for the team, there was a lot of suggestions for them to be called the Belfast Bombers!! (That Northern Ireland ironic wit slays me!!!) note - the teams official name was ultimately chosen to be Belfast Giants after Finn McCool 4) historic maritime landmarks like the only other surviving ship built by the same company that built the Titanic 5) my fave landmark in this area however are the Harland and Wolff shipyard's giant yellow cranes! The local name for these is Samson & Goliath. Also the H & W symbols on them, the locals would say those stood for Hate & War in the pre-troubles area. Now they are called Hope & (I cant remember with the W stood for, but again just another great example of the ironic local sense of humor) One tip - if u need loo facilities while visiting the area, the Bathrooms are on the lower level of the Titanic Museum! The Titanic Quarter is at the heart of a resurgent Belfast - home to our newest and most popular tourist attraction (Titanic Belfast) and steeped in rich industrial heritage it seems to have attracted tourists and corporate investment from across the globe. The Titanic Quarter, in my head, starts at the Odyssey Arena and stretches down to Sydenham Road, despite not being too large there's a lot to do and see in the TQ. As mentioned there is Titanic Belfast. The SS Nomadic, The Odyssey Arena, a Premier Inn and a great walk down to the NI Science Park past Harland and Wolf and the Game of Thrones filming studios. Getting to The Titanic Quarter is easy - either you can walk across the footbridge from 'The Big Fish', cycle on the newly installed Belfast Bikes or get the train directly to the Titanic Quarter Station (Formerly Bridge End) from Central Station. I'd high;y recommend this part of Belfast for both tourists and locals - there walk along the Lagan towards the docks is spectacular on a sunny day. read more

This is a fantastic area. The long term plans are to rejuvenate this area by building commercial, residential, educational and recreational spaces, areas and buildings so that this industrial part of the docks is re born. It's partly done with the likes of Odyssey, Arc apartments, PRONI, Belfast Met, Premiere Inn, Titanic Museum/Visitor attraction to name but a few!!! There is plenty more being done and present. There has been a tendency for Belfast to define certain parts of town as a "quarter" and at the rate we're going, Belfast will soon have more quarters than an American phone booth, but I'm here to describe what is known as Titanic Quarter. Titanic Quarter is basically the area from the Queens Bridge out as far as the Airport Rd roundabout in the east, and up the Queens Rd as far as Clearways. Mostly it's centred on the Odyssey complex with most of the attractions clustered between the Odyssey and Titanic Belfast and it's assorted places to visit, but apart from that, there's not really a lot to see, sure the walk alongside the Lagan past the Nomadic is nice, but you do notice a hell of a lot of empty post industrial space where H&W had massive engineering facilities long since demolished. Part of me likes to sit at the Abercorn Basin and daydream about owning one of the yachts! Still it's a constantly evolving area so if you're reading this review in 2020, you may be wondering what the hell I'm talking about! read more

I love titanic quarter, the blend of the old industrial docks and the new buildings has a great feel about it, progress has slowed in the development of titanic quarter which I think is a good thing allowing people to adjust to the changes,its great seeing more people using the titanic quarter for leisure and tourism as well as it still having a strong industrial presence with clearways recycling plant and h&w working away repairing ships and oil rigs and the manufacture of wind turbines. The arc complex and Belfast met with the sse "odyssey" arena bringing in the entertainment ,learning and living space. The titanic Belfast ,nomadic,pump house and hms Caroline holding the heritage. The skyline dominated by the iconic Sampson and goliath h&w cranes. Wonder what it'll be like in ten years time, taking photos now for posterity. I'm only commenting on the Titanic Museum here as we came to see that & not the multiplex or whatever else is part of the Quarter. Almost didn't make it in though but managed to get the last tickets of the day so pre-booking is probably the best idea as there are machines from which to collect your tickets rather than joining the queues, which I expect can be long earlier in the day than when we arrived (15:30). Short of dunking you underwater there's probably nothing more the museum could do to make the experience any more immersive. By the time you walk through all the displays and watch the audiovisual presentations (a good 90 minutes minimum) there's a definite emotional impact, despite the outcome being known. Finding out that one poor woman had survived the Titanic sinking only to have to go through it all again, albeit with enough lifeboats, when a nurse onboard the sister ship Britannic was particularly striking. The best attraction of its sort that I've been to for a long time. read more

Visited during the Maritime festival...wonderful place to walk around on a sunny day and have a picnic. There was a nice variety of tall ships and boats to explore. Music brightened up the area street vendors. Nice views of the titanic museum from the dock. Trendy area with beautiful flats. read more

I had been bursting to visit the Titanic Quarter since it opened but as I'm disabled I didn't know if it was disabled friendly or not and it would also mean that someone would have to come with me. But my son checked it out and booked it for me. We headed off for the day and I can honestly say that I have never had such an interesting, amazing,educational,emotional and fun day. The staff were wonderful and even when it came to the ride that takes you around the shipyard, I thought I couldn't go on it but no, once again the staff swung into action, got me out of my wheelchair and left it at the other end of the tour. There are two restaurants there. One is more like a snack bar and the other more for meals. A bit pricey but the food was outstanding-well worth the money. As we were leaving a male voice choir arrived and they were singing Nearer my God to thee. It sent goosebumps up my back. But you can really feel the atmosphere in there as there is a huge amount of information here if you take the time to look and read it all and take it all in, which I did. The building alone is so impressive and at the top you really feel how high you are when you look down. I would advise people to book it by phone or via the Internet because that way you avoid the queues and just walk past them all.....and get the dirty looks!! I would recommend it to anybody who is at all interested in the Titanic. I have a lovely picture of the building just before it opened but I don't know how to put it up here yet. So whatever you do when you're there, make sure you enjoy it. read more

way over priced. crammed together. a ride that reminds me of the ghost tran in Barry's Portrush. nothing of any real interest to look at or do. couldn't wait for it go end and wish I asked for my money back. just a poor effort all round, and will be telling others to spend their time and money on better things. read more

The area is ok, not many places to park for free. The area is steeped in maritime history, and was once one of the biggest manufacturing ship yards in the world. The Titanic museum itself is quite interesting, with a lot of info to absorb. It's quite eerie at times, and gets the old grey matter working a little. The price of entry to the museum is a little steep though £13 and should at least be halved .. The Titanic gift shop of cheese just has to be visited :) read more

Despite booking, queued for ages to get in. My sister's kids were with us and were doing to toilet dance after 40 minutes waiting. Once in there were queues for each exhibit. Wanted to see the staircase but that is out of bounds to visitors. I wanted it to be be better, not expecting it to live up to the hype but be good. I was left feeling a bit disappointd. read more

Go see this. Tremendous, excellent and great value for money. The artifacts are amazing. Presentation Fab. You leave mellowed as you should...the ending wasnt' good lets face it.
