    deceptive marketing practices

T3 is an excellent facility run by someone who has no idea what goes on in his business in terms of software and the people behind the product. Their "payment processor" tries to strong-arm and bully people for cancelling over medical reasons which were previously discussed. Ping your credit score, pass you off to debt collector scammers, then pretend they didn't. Unfortunately, T3's business practices don't add up to what they offer. Ads run by them are often misleading. Unethical. Simply google Facebook Ad Library and see all ads they're running or ANY business. All Ads, Search: "t3fitnesstxgo" or "t3 fitness" in the search bar, click "search exact phrase". Save time, money and annoyance with any advertiser you see to ensure they're not lying to you. Never fall for "WE'VE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE." Not a great way to gain customers, but a great way to lose them up front. (this applies to ALL businesses. They BETTER mean it if they're saying it!) As an experienced social media advertiser and business consultant, things like this IRK ME to no end. You can do better, Ike. Pay attention to the details of your business -- the people, systems, the people behind the systems you use, and start rolling heads to make changes! There are SERIOUS issues and the owner needs to ADDRESS them, rather than ignore all us 1-2 star folks with boilerplate replies. Losing customers is a direct result of all this. Business problems start from the top, down. That means it starts with Ike, then GM, and employees. I care about customers that's why I'm grilling you. Care more about your business and FIX these issues, so we know we matter and aren't another dollar in your pocket. When you block paying customers from your page for calling you out on your poor practices, it's a pathetic attempt to hide the truth. Truth always reveals itself. You can never hide from it.

This is how hot it was in the room.

Where do I even start ? I wish I came to yelp before even working out here or working here. I wouldn't leave my children in the kid zone area. The ac is constantly broken and at one point it was 85 degrees in the room and its roof was leaking. The gym itself was nice and I enjoyed it but the price of the gym doesn't justice how poorly the kid area is. The walls are also paper thin so I overheard when I dropped 3 of my kids off 8 months, 6 & 9 years old. A blonde girl who said she was the manager (she was apparently on leave or something for a while and came back) was talking rudely about another parent who I have a class with. I never drop my kids off and it's usually my husband so I was mind blown when I saw the condition of the place. I've spoken to a few of the employees up stairs and they asked me if I can make complaints about the ac because the owner never fixes it. I always walked in to pick my kids up on a separate day and an employee was yelling at my 9 year old. I bring my kids own drinks, snacks and an iPad to share. But they couldn't take shoes up and they got yelled at ? Very annoyed especially when I tried to see what the issue was. I also spoken to a previous employee from the kid zone and front desk worker. It is their story to tell but let's say for legal reasons it's good they left.

I purchased (paid for) gym equipment from them last week. I've messaged, called, and emailed to no avail. The owner, Ike, was supposed to contact me, which hasn't happened. Amanda has been emailed several times with zero response. They've charged me and are now not responding and employees are giving the run around. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Along with this there's no air conditioning which is absolutely ridiculous since it's in Texas. Like in the summer it's 90-105 degrees outside and all they have is fans, if you want heat stroke you better come here. Along with that in the winter time which is coming right now. It was 40 degrees today and all they had for heating is closing the doors. Now the good parts, the bench press has its own little lift off for you which is nice, the deadlift area has a bar that holds the bar your using so you can take weight off or put some on. They have a-lot of cardio machines which is cool. And that's all the good I see from this gym. I almost forgot to mention that the benches here suck, they are cheap and small. Overall it's overpriced and awful

Traveling today and decided to check out this anytime. You may have seen my other anytime reviews,…read moreso some are hit and miss, despite having direction from corporate. This place was great. They had some non precor machines, a nice jungle gym type rack in the middle, couple power racks, and plenty of weights. Albeit mismatched plates but I'm not pretentious enough to care about all that. Gym was clean for the most part, very spacious, and machines were in good working order. Now their cardio bikes... They need some maintenance. The nicer of the two precor ones has a bad rattle and slips when trying to use it. I went to the octane lateral step machine to finish. It also has a catch but not as bad as the bike. They have an array of treadmills but this guy doesn't run. So can't tell you if they worked well. They did have a new stair master that looked pretty swank, but today was supposed to be bike day. Had plenty of bathrooms which were clean. Overall this gym is pretty nice. Needs some small things fixed but overall...good. Added some photos for y'all since theirs was greatly lacking them. I did miss the leg stuff and other power rack on the far side, too many folks to take photos as I try to be respectful of others.

I really enjoy being able to try out new equipment without feeling self-conscious, having my pick of equipment, etc. I was once bouncing back and forth between the abductor and adductor and someone wanted to use one of them, I told them I was happy to just finish on one and then come back to the other and they said they'd do their next machine and come back. That doesn't happen at busier gyms. It is a very co-op feeling space and I love the camaraderie. I also love that it is open 24-7. I think that also makes it feel more like the space of those using the gym. It's kind of like our gym and we all love it. However, the gym is grimy. The machines are old. They are squeaky, outdated, and don't operate the same way machines do at newer gyms. The free weight section leaves something to be desired - give us some barbells with weight already on them, etc. It's got a really solid apartment gym vibe. It has the essentials. Is it ever cleaned? I'm not sure. I wipe down my machines after I use them. I don't dust the windowsills and it doesn't seem anyone else does either. I'll keep using this gym because it's the only actual gym I've found in Belton. The price is fine if you have 2 people. It's great if you have a family. If it were just me, I would be very unhappy paying the monthly rate compared to chain gyms in Temple, but the location can't be beat because again, it's the only gym in Belton. Also, since they seem to really want everyone to feel ownership in this gym, I'd love for them to take down the "Biden Sucks" flag as working out shouldn't be politicized. There are a lot of people in Belton with a lot of different beliefs, and very, very few people are arguing about politics at the gym. Let it be a gym for everyone.

TOUCHDOWN on my end!!! This rec center is newish (opened maybe 2/3 years ago), clean, and has state of the art equipment that works (unlike other fitness centers). Membership ranges depending on how long you want, but my family and I purchased the Family Package Deal--$40 for 4 people for 1 month (tongue twister). GREAT DEAL!!! All classes are included in the membership at no extra charge, which is awesome! They offer a range of classes from zumba, step, body blast, spin, and circuit training, and core training. All are super fun and you are definitely sweating at the end of them. There are also 2 basketball courts with open gym, a ping pong table, and an air hockey table. The staff is super friendly upon walk in and are willing to give you a tour of the place if you are having doubts. Again, the place is CLEAN. I hate going to work out at a gym and the place smells like straight up feet with debris on the ground as you are trying to run on the treadmill. Throwup. No, the ground is aways free from any junk, and the people who work out here are respectful. After each use of the equipment, they are running to get a wipe to wipe down the machine. THANK YOUUUU. No slipping off the leg extension machine from the previous person's sweat. So, why 4 stars?? Well, after I work out I like to go shoot hoops after. Basketball courts were closed for 2 days straight. After the 2 days, they opened up again but with a limited time frame (5am-11am Mon-Fri; 7-10pm Sat-Sun). WHATTTTT?!?! I talked to the front desk lady, who explained to be that a 25ish year old man and a 17ish year old boy got in a fight during a pick up game, resulting in the limited hours. Why did management not just take away their memberships? Supposedly the city (since they own the place) asked for management to do so. Who knows how long this will be enforced, because the front desk lady was giving out names and contact info on who to complain to. All in all, this is a great place to get in shape and lose the fat. Gotta look good for the summer!!!
