I wanted somewhere that I would be challenged physically and would make friends. From the first conversation I had with Coach Ben, I knew 5 Hills CrossFit was that home. The programming is incredible, and you can tell that thought and strategy is put into each workout. The coaching during the workouts ensures that you are pushing yourself, but doing so with proper form and in a way that will be most beneficial to you. The coaches are ready with supplemental exercises and tips when you're struggling with a movement or if you want a little extra work on a specific area. And the community is like no other! People cheer each other on, talk to each other and there's no feeling of "being picked last in gym class" when it comes to partner workouts- everyone there wants everyone else to feel at home! I'm so thankful I found this gym and continue to look forward to being the best I can be with the coaching and the community!

My office moved closer to this gym and I wanted to see how close it was for the possibility of running here during lunch (almost 2miles pretty close). My old office was closer to Abrams so that was the gym of choice. Well this gym is smaller than Abrams but has all the equipment needed for a good workout. The female locker room is spacious and it has its own sauna which is a plus. Even though it is a small sauna it can fit approximately 15 - 20 average sized people sitting lol. I usually stretch in the sauna before and after a workout so the availability of a sauna is a plus. Back in the day there was one sauna and it was coed even the current sign reflects that of a coed sauna lol. There is no fee associated with this gym and many weight lifters prefer this gym and train here often. This gym has an open concept floor plan. There is a separate rooms with cardio equipment. Many weightlifters visit this gym, personal trainers are offered but did not see any group fitness or aerobics classes offered.

The ONLY reason I decided to cancel my membership was because I was diagnosed with a brain bleed. I have no time, nor the strength or energy to continue. I called twice to speak with someone because that is the only way to cancel-No answer. After eventually getting a hold of someone they sent my cancellation form. I filled out and returned the form but continued to receive billing statements. I called to see why I was still being charged and was told because I had a bill due when I tried to cancel they could not go through with the cancellation... I paid the "past due balance" and was able to cancel my membership. Incredibly unfortunate that you cannot just cancel and be done-especially if it's a medical reason and something I can't help. I now have 8 class credits that my bloody brain and I cannot use (:
