I initially went in with a toothache after quickly booking an emergency appointment. The receptionist was very nice and had actually offered me an earlier time after realizing it was for a toothache. During this emergency visit, the dentist decided that instead of fixing the tooth with toothache, I should instead have a 'new client' appointment, pay for full x-rays, and he would put me on a treatment plan for my entire mouth. This was not an issue as it was needed, but what WAS an issue is that after this happened, he asked, "is there anything else?", to which I responded that, yes, I booked an emergency appointment because I have a toothache so could that please be fixed. He said he would quickly put a temporary filling in that tooth, did so, and I left. The toothache is still there today. When I returned for the first part of my treatment, a root canal, the staff were very friendly and it seemed to go well. It wasn't until I checked my teeth in the car on the ride home that I saw that my two front teeth were now chipped. It's unlikely that the dentist and dental assistant didn't know they'd done this - I can only assume that they were aware and had chosen to keep it quiet. When I called up about this the following morning, I spoke with the same friendly receptionist from the previous evening and asked if I would need to pay for this as it was caused during the procedure, she said she'd speak with the clinic manager and that "it shouldn't be a problem". When I returned for the chips to be fixed, both the dental assistant and the dentist asked me multiple times if I'd eaten something that had caused the chip. I responded every time that, no, I saw it in the car mirror in the parking lot after I left my appointment 10 feet away - my mouth was still numb. I understand that they probably need to deny any culpability, but if it's genuinely their fault, enough is enough. At the end of this appointment, they charged me to fix the issue that they had caused. After they charged me, the person working on reception said they'd be in touch soon to schedule the next treatment - probably within a couple of days (it was a long weekend). This was 3 weeks ago. Also, during each of these visits I was told that there was an issue with my insurance to do with my birth date. After my very first appointment, I contacted my insurance company who asked the dental clinic to call them so they could work it out. The next time I went into the clinic, the receptionist told me they'd spoken with the insurance company and the result was to file the insurance via mail. After my second and third appointments, I reiterated this to each receptionist, as each one of them treated it as a new issue. Today, I received a text from the clinic informing me that there is an issue with my insurance and it "looks like your date of birth is wrong", asking if I could make sure it's correct with my insurance. Still nothing about the next treatment and this is now the 4th time I'm having to tell a different person at this clinic the same thing. Unfortunately, it seems like quite a disorganized place. Again, I wish I could leave a better review but I have to be honest.

I put natural polysporin on the spot and it healed within a week. 2)One tooth in front got a filling ....while they were checking my bite they took too much of the tooth off... now it's uneven compared to the other side. And make my two front teeth look like I have buck teeth /chipmunk. tooth was cut down too much. in the dentists defence--- Half of my mouth/face was frozen and shifted to the right due to my neuro-muscular response to freezing and any work /forced opening of my jaw (tmj and oa) done on my mouth/jaw-- it wasn't going to be a proper representation while frozen and I tried to explain that. I am 63 years old and the dentist has never been anywhere near a comfortable experience. That has changed significantly in the last 7 years since going to Linh and her sisters. Linh has been remarkably tolerant of my panic attacks and bad attitude. And, she has done the best work on my teeth that I've experienced in 50+ years. I have referred many friends. My favourite niece recently had two implants done to front teeth that were damaged playing basketball. Linh did an outstanding job on the implants. Oh, and Belinda is the best at giving me freezing - even on the painful roof-of-the-mouth! All the staff and assistants are patient and kind as well. I found that Hans was terrific as a dentist and perfectionist at heart and always seeing the procedure through to a proper conclusion. I knew that I was in good hands with him. The team support too, was very good, they were both - friendly - and professional. The problem that I had with this office was on the management side of things; so much so, that I elected to lodge my concerns with the Alberta Dental Association. I informed the staff at 360 that I don't do business that way and moved on and in doing so, discovered a great office! I would suggest to any new patient going to any office, to ensure that you get a suggest that you get a treatment plan in writing prior to undergoing any treatment. That way, everyone is on the same page with less room for misunderstanding.

Soon thereafter my mobile rang and it was the SL office. Then, feeling tense I have to say that within seconds I had an uplifting and inspiring conversation during which I was made to feel at ease and ended up making an appointment. After the consultation I was again reassured and started treatment. Here I have to say that for my peace of mind dental work at SL is absolutely possible in every which way.
