The dentist we had as a kid was absolutely terrible, we called him "The Butcher", one could never go visit without leaving sore, swollen, and generally disheartened. I remember the "solution" to the crowding in my lower teeth was to "push on them with your fingers every so often". Thinking this was dentistry, i did everything I could to avoid the dentist for 14 years. Then, a tooth broke. Honestly, I found Dr. Meyer on google, he was the closest to home at the time, and could get me in the quickest. however, now that I've moved across the city, I still choose to battle deerfoot to go see him. He has cured me of my fear of dentists, apparently they don't go to school to learn how to inflict the most pain possible! I was sure I'd have to go the sedation route walking into that office so many years ago, but it's honestly no big deal now - and that's saying a lot. If you're like I was, nervous, ashamed at the amount of time you let pass between visits - this is where you should go. Everyone that works at this office will put you at ease, you won't feel the needles, and your wallet won't be empty at the end of the day. Dr Meyer and his team have always been very professional, friendly and very informative. From my first visit they have been aware of my fear of dentistry and have always been understanding and gone the extra mile to ensure I'm comfortable. His assistance explains every step he is performing during the procedure, checks often to see if Im OK and tells me to raise my hand if I need a break. It all starts with Barb at the reception always smiling and welcoming you to the clinic. In the middle are the many dental hygienist who are all wonderful but Lynita keeps my teeth looking sharp. The backstop keeping your mouth healthy is Dr Hans who has great chair side manner and always the professional with a personal touch. My whole family (3 kids and my wife) all use the services at Dental 360 and we are very happy with our choice. Highly recommend you try them out for a cleaning and experience the service yourself. I love dental 360, recommend it to all my friends. I was always afraid of dentists before my first visit here ( I was in my 50's). I swear I have never felt freezing being done or felt it coming out. Most recently was a root canal which Dr.Meyer told me would be tender and sore for a couple of days. But once the freezing came out- nothing! Love that man.
