I can thankfully say we are officially, at long last, done with Tish flooring. The sub contractors answer to no one but themselves. Unfortunately our experience with that was very unpleasant. They would arrive whenever they wanted to (or not at all). The workers would show up for an hour or two leave and never come back that day and possibly not even the next day, so for about 3 months we felt like prisoners in our own home. We lost several weekends because we had to stay home while they were playing catch up. The last job that needed to be completed, backsplash in the kitchen, was a 2 day job. Again, the contractor showed up the first day for less than 2 hours, started the job and did not return for several days. He came back to finish the job the Friday before Christmas, again was there for 2 hours, left and told my husband he would return at 2:00 that afternoon to finish the job. He never returned that day or called. In fact we didn't hear from him again until Monday morning, at which time my husband told the tiler he was finished and we no longer needed or wanted him in our home. My husband finished laying the remaining tiles, caulked and sealed on Saturday before our family arrived for the holidays. Ours was a big job (one we had saved several years for). We had hard wood laid in the great room and new tile in the kitchen along with the backsplash. We had paid for everything as it was finished, so Tish flooring had already received thousands of dollars from us. They charged our credit card for the backsplash prior to the job being done, that is, even prior to my husband finishing the job, something I thought was truly not acceptable. We are very pleased with the new floors but save yourself time, energy and your sanity. Go with a company that has a supervisor over the subcontractors that sets limits and has the ability to instruct the subcontractors to finish one job, before starting another. I know the fellows that worked on our house had no less than 5 jobs going at the same time. In closing, we were extremely happy with the carpet layers. All I can say is Tish lives up to it's reputation. This is my first time having flooring installed and they were nothing short of excellent. My real estate agent was the one who recommended them to me and they definitely live up to all their reviews. First, I scheduled with them and wanted the flooring done about six to 8 weeks in advance. The sales lady (Kate) came out to my place and showed me samples of the laminate flooring and carpet. She had a background in interior design which was helpful because I am not good at it and she gave me great suggestions. There was actually a type of carpet she recommended that was a little softer, but she didn't have it in her car, so she actually stopped by to visit again sometime to show it to me. Afterwards it was a matter of scheduling. I had both laminate and carpet installed. Kate said they don't start the project till all supplies are in. I was told upfront what the cost would be and didn't sign the contract till it was all put together. They were scheduled for over four days. One day to drop off the supplies, two days for laminate, and one for carpet. Every time they came over the crew person called to let me know they were coming. They were flexible with my schedule. In the end, they got the laminate done in one day and did the carpet the next in a matter of hours. One area of my old floor that was carpet I wanted laminate, and they did a beautiful job doing the transition. The crew members were great. I left them to do their work while I went to run errands and felt completely fine with them there. I definitely would request them back for my next project. So I have no complaints at all. Overall a very well done job and I just love my new carpet and laminate flooring. I am especially glad because I had some friends get flooring through lowe's and after all the hassle and everything for putting it in, only a few days later is started to bubble and they have to do it all over again. Tish flooring was GREAT! From the start we called to get an estimate and our sales guy was sick so they quickly rescheduled for the next evening. David came out talked to us about what we were looking for and went to the van and brought us in a few samples to look at. While we were looking he was measuring. We had over 2600 sf of carpeting so it took a little while for him to measure. When he returned we had made our choice of carpet. He quickly summed up the square foot and our estimate. This came in FAR below our other estimates for the same carpeting. This process only took about an hour for David from Tish, but when Empire came out a few days earlier it took them 3 hours! We got on the schedule and our installer Adrian called the morning of the install to let us know when he would arrive. He was there right on time. We did a run through of the house and him and his team were off and running. Our install took 2 days as was initially expected. At the end of the first day Adrian and his guys cleaned up before they left and asked about leaving some things in the garage which was fine. Day 2 Adrian and team were there just as promised. At the end of the day they were finished. We did a complete walk around and he asked if we had any questions. He also said if we found anything just to let them know and they would come out and take care of it. In summary Tish flooring runs a Top Notch operation and for our installers Adrian and his team they were AWESOME! We will definitely recommend and use Tish again! read more

We had a wonderful expierence with Tish Flooring. From the sales department to the installation crews we were impressed by the timely communication, prices, quality products and product expertise. Greg in sales worked with me to pick the most practical and cost effective flooring for our family. The previous home owners had incorrectly installed the kitchen flooring and Race (lead installer) took time to give us our options, he even drew out a diagram so we could better visualize what the floor issue was. All of the installers were respectful of our home. My children were curious about certain tools and the installers took time to show the tools and explained to my kiddos how they work. We are incredibly happy with our finished product (1200 Sq ft carpet and 300 sq ft hard wood). We will certainly call Tish Flooring for any future flooring needs. read more

We had woven bamboo flooring installed, Rayce our installer told us the only real enemy of bamboo is water. The job was 90 percent done , Rayce and Mandy were to return the next day to finish up. That night our refrigerator ice machine hose ruptured. During the night the entire kitchen was soaked. Rayce arrived and immediately began removing the kitchen floor. Needless to say, Rayce replaced the floor, not an easy task, actually very difficult. Yet he did it, no questions asked. He could have taken short cuts but that would violate his professional ethics. If you are looking for a company , people that you can trust then Tish is your company. They are competitive, professional and ethical. Amazing! I was so pleased with the work that Tish did for me before, I used them again and was equally as pleased this time. All Tish employees that I had contact with were professional, helpful and polite. Communications were clear and accurate. I made an appointment with Tish to come out and measure our floors. Jack came out exactly the day and time that he said he would and emailed me the estimate the very next day. We set up the delivery date and when the installers would be there to install the floors. I received the email that morning, telling me the exact time that they would deliver. The installers came and took old carpet out and installed my beautiful new floor. The installers were so polite and hardworking. They started at 7 that morning and was finished by 6 that evening. Tish flooring was wonderful to work with. I just recently moved into a new home and wanted to place carpet in my basement. I ordered the carpet and when the came out to measure, we found water in one area of the basement. They immediately put my delivery of carpet on hold. I worked through most of the water issues but still have some in places. After waiting 2 months, I realized I was not going to be able to lay the carpet. Understand the carpet was already purchased and waiting in their warehouse. They worked with me to find the right flooring that would need the least maintenance if water comes in the basement. Tish Flooring installed commercial carpet in some of our offices. They did a great job. Installers were fast and very cautious of their surroundings. They were quiet and respectable when visitors were around or someone needed in an office they were working on. As far as sales and ordering, they had the carpet a week and a half earlier than other places could get it. Jack was very fast at responding when I had questions. The office team worked well scheduling for us. We had to change the install date multiple times and the office team knew how small of a window we had to get it done. From start to finish, the experience with Tish was as painless and pleasant as possible. Greg came to our new home on a Saturday with plenty of flooring options and was able to schedule the demo and installation around a large painting job with the goal of completing the job before Thanksgiving. The first time we used Tish (at the time it was Realty Wholesale), we had shopped many other stores and they provided the best quality at a much lower price than all the others. We wanted to redo the carpeting in much of the area of our home and they came to the house, presented us with a large and varied selection and in less than a month, they sent a crew in (extremely friendly) and in less than 6 hours, they removed the old carpet, scraped, cleaned, installed and vacuumed. We were finishing our basement , and our carpet and luxury vinyl were purchased and installed by Tish Flooring. Greg gave us the quote and it was very reasonable. Adrien and his team came on time to install and they were great. They explained what needed to be done to make the concrete level for the vinyl and fixed he issue. Sam at Tish Flooring was very helpful and even came back out to our home to talk to us when I started getting nervous about whether I picked the right carpet. I heard good things about Tish Flooring, but as always, my husband was skeptical. We knew what color of carpet we wanted but not the type, and we didn't have a lot of money to spend. Plus, the room is a high traffic room--our black lab even chases the ball in it. They found a carpet for us that was the perfect color and looked beautiful, but the skeptic was still waiting to see how it looked with wear and tear. We had a couple of odd requests for new carpeting that required moving of some even odder furniture, but they quoted us very economically, were very diligent in the follow up process and scheduling, and their contractors showed up right on time, did a great job, and even went above in beyond in fixing some boards that were creaky underneath the new carpet they were doing. I love my new floor! Replacing the floor in or office was just one piece of a large remodeling project with multiple contractors. Timing was critical, and Tish came through! Dwayne came by several times to check on our construction progress and coordinate with our GC to make confirm the schedule. Shane and his crew worked quickly to get it all done in one day.
