I have 3 terrible experiences and yes I did learn from the first but unfortunately my son also got to learn the hard way. For me it was an accident that was not my fault but all they could do was collect my deductible and repair the car. Absolutely zero help to go after the responsible party. Next up my husband got hit by a police officer hauling inmates and one of them tried to get a payout. Farm Bureau said it was easier to pay a low amount then to challenge the claim. That claim eventually resolved because the inmate eventually said it was the cop not my husband but it was 3 years of back and forth. Most recently my son got in an accident going less than 10 mph (life360) and Farm Bureau immediately undervalued the car and deemed it a total loss. No negotiation, no second opinion allowed, nothing. We notified an attorney who did an independent evaluation and deemed it to be undervalued by almost three thousand dollars. The threshold between there appraisal and the repair is less than nine hundred. The attorney informed us farm bureau is the worst insurance in Utah. They have no allowance for independent appraisal or negotiation. So we get screwed and farm bureau gets to lie and say they will get four thousand back to scrap the 2019 Mustang. Complete crooks and Tate can't be bothered to do anything. He's regularly out of office and has his assistant do his dirty work.

They had their secretary contact me and she hung up on me when I got frustrated with her answers. I thought she was the owner or at least a tax preparer. She seems to expect that I know what they did and who I worked with (I was pulled over in my car talking to her and didn't have my documents on the car to check). It seems like that would be easy to look up, but she was mad at me for not knowing or telling her. She sent me texts and different messages in their portal. One saying she had to have a letter and another questioning if I did. One saying she'd take care of it immediately and the other saying they couldn't because of the letter. She told me to stop yelling but I wasn't yelling. I'm up against a deadline and couldn't get a straight answer.

I am truly not a bitter person, but I did receive deplorable customer service from Jones Printing. The shirts we ordered were beautiful, but they made a huge mistake. They admitted it was their mistake and they would not reprint it. Oh and yes they kept our money. The shirt had the name of our beautiful baby that we lost right before his due date. It was a traumatic loss and we honored him by participating in a walk to walk the steps he never was able to take. Jones left his name off even though it was very clearly part of the order. They showed no compassion and did not even look at us as they said sorry, nothing we can do. They made other small mistakes like printing on the wrong colors for some of the shirts, but that was a minor error to the way that they made us feel. I will never return and I would never recommend based on their definition of "service"

Tracy misfiled our taxes in 2015 and 16 under the wrong Tax ID number. We had two returns, a trust and our personal returns to have prepared. I trusted her to know what to do, especially with the trust account. I trusted her "expertise". Boy, did I make a mistake! I didn't find out until this April, 2017, when I found out the Utah Tax Commission had no record of any trust returns filed in our name in either 2015 or 2016. I called the tax commission several times to ask why we had not received our refund for tax year 2016 and each time they could not find any evidence of any refund for 2016. To make a long story short, after some investigation, this April 2017 the tax commission notified us that the tax preparer misfiled our 2015 and 2016 returns under mine and my spouse's social security numbers instead of the trust account tax ID number as she should have. As a result, in 2016 we received a tax refund, for tax year 2015, we were not supposed to have because Tracy misfiled our returns under the wrong tax ID number. As a result, because of her mistake, we will have to reimburse the state for the erroneous 2015 state tax refund. Basically, Tracy told me it is my tough luck for cashing the erroneous refund check and that I'm on my own. She was rude, beligerant and uncooperative and refuses to reimburse me for her filing mistake. Neither she nor the central HR Block Headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri, will reimburse us the $2160.00 we owe the state because of Tracy's screw up. I have had to file a complaint with HR Block company headquarters and have another HR Block tax prep specialist reprocess our tax returns. Tracy's office has a Better Business Bureau complaint coming too. What a hassle! And who knows if we will get reimbursement for our tax preparation "specialist's" stupid mistake! Additional: May 30, 2017: I called the HR Block headquarters complaints department to follow up on my complaint about Tracy Bunner's tax filing mistake and the refund in error. The complaints says Tracy refuses to pay the money she owes me for the $2561.00 the state paid me in error because of her tax filing mistake. The HR Block headquarters refuses to reimburse me for the mistake their tax preparer made.

O K So this was my first time taking my taxes to anyone to be done and it was the worst time ever…read more Luckily my husband payed attention to everything she typed because she could have screwed us royal on our taxes. She kept putting in wrong numbers and dates not to mention she couldn't seem to figure out how to use the computer keys on the key board. The only good thing was she realized her mistake and after fixing it decided to be kind and not charge us 184 dollars for almost waisted time. I gave it one star for that reason. I think that had she not been new which you could totally tell she was maybe also had she been an actual tax professional and not just some one at least to me seemed like she just read a book took a test and printed off the certificate. I don't think I will go to H&R Block again the lesson has already been learned. It only takes me once.
