I look at accupuncture now as a form of self care as well as it helping with my migraines. You want the best nap of your life? Try accupuncture. I do feel like it is a little rushed when trying to explain or update the accupuncturist on your condition, but I get the idea. It's cheaper because they get you in and out. I would recommend doing a private session first and then doing the cheaper community sessions.

Everyone speaks in a whisper. I am fortunate to be working with William on my back and arm pains. He really knows his business, including anatomy, acupuncture, and complete healing. There are several beds and lounges inside, occupied by clients experiencing acupuncture treatments and quietly relaxing. OAM offers additional comfort and healing services, such as massage. Their pricing is very reasonable, with multiple visit packages. I can say acupuncture is painless and an effective treatment alternative. I have already experienced welcomed relief after two visits , and will be returning until my acupuncture and therapy have been a complete success. I highly recommend OAM - Ocean Acupuncture & Massage.

The result is always the same: she is incredibly thorough, friendly and professional...and I get better. Kimberley reminds me of what a village doctor would be like from years ago. She truly cares about her patients and is very individualized with her treatment. She may ask me about diet, sleep, stress, pain, etc, any factors that may be contributing to what's going on. Her holistic approach is incredibly thorough while still efficient, and in my experience, the results speak for themselves! I am so grateful for her work and feel lucky to have such a skilled and compassionate practitioner here in North County, my village :) :) Highly recommend!

Mayra is always helpful in trying to accommodate as best as possible, and offers to place me on the wait list for sooner available appointments that work better with my schedule. I've been going to Dr. Mike for over a year now, and it has been so beneficial. My initial appointment, Dr. Mike sat down with me, listened to my history and concerns and thoroughly completed his assessment. After the assessment, he made his recommendations for the areas that he would be focusing on and how frequently I should be starting out with the visits. After over a year of seeing him, with all of the techniques and tools he utilizes on my back, I have noticed great improvement in the way that I feel. I am now currently pregnant and continue to see him. At the beginning of each session, he sits down, asks how I've been feeling, and explains the changes in techniques as the pregnancy is progressing. He truly takes the time to make sure that you, as the patient, have an understanding of what he does, and ensures that you have any and all questions answered after every visit. I have also been seeing Lori, one of the massage therapists in office, and having the combination of a massage, as well as the adjustment is the best! Having both Lori and Dr. Mike work in the same office is beneficial as they work hand in hand and are able to coordinate if necessary. Lori does an amazing job; she is very intuitive, attentive and sensitive to what your body needs, offering just the right amount of pressure as needed. I highly recommend seeking adjustments with Dr. Sam or Dr. Mike, and massages at Foundation Chiropractic!

At my first appointment, Dr. Mike spent an hour on me doing a thorough assessment. His patience, kindness, and professionalism was evident from the very first day! I felt very comfortable with him from the start. I've been going in about once a week since my first visit and I have seen a gradual improvement in my spine and joints despite the continuously strenuous nature of my job. And, as of a few weeks ago, my husband who has neck and back issues has also started seeing him (he commutes from Poway). At every appointment, Dr. Mike does a combination of techniques to get the best result. Getting adjusted hasn't always been a pleasant experience, but somehow Dr. Mike makes it completely stress-free. And he never pressures me to come in more than I need to. When I called once, earlier than my weekly appointment because I felt like I had pulled something, he told me to wait and see if my body resolves itself before coming in. I feel like he genuinely cares for his patients. Mayra at the front desk is also very helpful and kind. The office is very easy to reach. I never have problems with scheduling; they are very flexible when it comes to same day appointments and switching times to accommodate your needs. The office is very clean and modern with a calming aesthetic. My hubby and I are happy with our treatments so far and thankful to have found Foundation!
