I heard about Reiki but never really knew what it was all about. A friend suggested I give Reiki a try so I went on a search for a Reiki practioner. Geez, there are so many practioners and it was a little confusing at first to figure out which one was right for me. It wasn't until I found Erin's website and booked a free consultation session with Erin that I knew I wanted to experience Reiki with her. Erin was very patient with miss newbie here and explained what Reiki was during the phone consultation. I was enlightened and very curious so I booked a Reiki session with intuitive reading with Erin. **Reiki Sessions** At my first Reiki session, I completed a brief form as a new client so that Erin could develop a treatment plan for me. After a brief convo, Erin started her Reiki treatment on me. Although I fell asleep for part of it, I had an incredible experience. In a very good way, something felt different in me because Erin was able to move energy throughout my body. We talked about my experience and then she told me about her intuitive reading from the session. It was very interesting and Erin patiently answered all of my questions to help me understand my experience. I was intrigued so I returned for more sessions because I found them to be a gentle spiritual healing...something I never thought I needed but now really enjoy having in my life. A few sessions and conversations later, Erin suggested that I might want to learn how to practice Reiki so I decided to take her level 1 class. :-) **Jikiden Reiki Shoden (Level 1) Class** This was a very informative two days of class sessions where I learned about the history of Reiki and how to connect to Reiki energy. Additionally, I was able to practice giving Reiki to another student in class, which made it a great hands-on experience and a fun way to help solidify my learnings over the class sessions. I was amazed that I learned how to practice Reiki and attribute this rapid learning to Erin's awsome teaching capabilities. She is a master! I felt incredibly empowered by this new spiritual experience. I look forward to an opportunity to advance my abilities with Erin's Jikiden Reiki Okuden (Level 2) Class! After completing the Level 1 class, all students receive an official stamped and hand written Japanese calligraphy certificate from the Reiki Institute in Japan!
