I asked the manager whether someone could check my brakes; I thought they may be failing, and didn't want to overlook something major. The mechanics examined the brakes and found no problem, then bled the brake lines to be sure there was no air in the lines, filled the reservoir, and ALSO checked the tires all around. The cost for all this was extremely reasonable, and it took very little time (especially considering that I didn't have an appointment). These folks did an incredible job. 12 hours away from home was having brake problems on our car, called and set up a appointment for 8 the next morning, we walked in a 8 and told us we had a 2 hour wait and that the techs don't like working in the heat so he wasn't coming till 10? i don't know how that makes sense. Don't go here they'll rip you off into buying a new tire every.single.time. They are crooks and take forever to do anything. Trust me, you can get a Sam's club membership and they do free flat repairs. Also their tires are less expensive and even if Tires Plus says they'll match it - they will find a way to upcharge you for balancing or alignment. I needed a tire repaired the other evening, so I popped into Tires Plus to get it done after work. This store is open until 700 pm, unlike other places that close at 600 pm. I lamented that I didn't have a book to read, because these things usually take forever. Not here. The tire didn't have enough tread to repair, so I had to get a new one. I hunkered down in the waiting area, expecting to be there until closing time. Couldn't have been 10 minutes later that I was paying my bill. I commented to the service manager that this was like a NASCAR pit stop. I was only slightly exaggerating. Brett was the service manager the evening that I was there. He was was friendly, professional, and efficient. If you need tires or a tire repair, you won't go wrong stopping into Tires Plus. They also perform other maintenance, such as brakes, oil changes, and who knows what else. read more

Wife and I were traveling from Colorado Springs to Jacksonville FL with 2 needy cats on board when I started losing pressure in the passenger side rear tire. This was on Labor Day and nothing in Pensacola was open and we were luck to find this Tire Plus store with the lights on. The store manager Brent Bowden was amazing. Great guy, identified the problem as a 1" screw in the tire, fixed us up and check out all the tires and got up back on the road in less than an hour. The tire technician was also pretty awesome with his attention detail and professionalism. Keep these guys as they both rock!!!! read more

Got a flat yesterday morning and didn't know where to go but this was one of the few places open on a Sunday.. very happy I choose this shop! Shawn was super helpful and taught me more about the life expectancies of different things on my car. I was completely ready to buy 4 new tires (I thought I should just replace all of them..) but Shawn told me I could still get lots of life out of my front two. No problem with the service. I did have a 3 o'clock appointment and got there at 2:45. It was just a patch on the tire I didn't get out of there until 4 o'clock. Normally this would not of bothered me but there were two men sitting in the waiting room with no masks on. So I had to stand outside in the heat. Then a third person with no mask came into the waiting room. Then another woman walked in to pay without a mask. A big sign on your front door that says masks are mandatory and you know in Pensacola they are mandatory. I was not comfortable doing business there. If you put a sign on the front door it seems like that you should enforce it. read more

I have been bringing our work vehicles and my families personal vehicles here for years. Having vehicle repairs can be stressful since it's hard to find a reliable, trustworthy shop you can trust. Tires Plus on Davis Highway has always treated me properly and fairly. They do only what is required and are extremely honest and fair. I feel they treat their customers like someone from their own family. I have had a few vehicles pre-inspected to see if there are any issues or concerns and they always give you their honest opinion whether hey would recommend I buy the vehicles or run! What a horrific experience. General Manager is condescending and rude I have had 2 false diagnoses spent 1000's of dollars for no reason with unnecessary repairs my car is running worse now than the first time they put their hands on my engine. (I waited 8 hours for them to complete the job the 2nd time I brought my vehicle in because their front desk employee Brittany failed to mention that the tech that was working on my car left work and put my car in the back of the line. When I asked for a 3rd diagnosis I was told I would be charged $110 instead of trying to make it right they proceeded to tell me that even though their front desk employee, Brittany mistakenly forgot to put my appt I set with her the night before in the computer, The General manager stated that he MIGHT be able to work me in IF there is a cancellation I walked out and took my car somewhere else. I did, however, bring my car one more time since I previously purchased 4 new tires with them and I have Road Hazard Warranty. The General Manager rudely told me that I would have to wait 5 hours to plug my tire (all it needed) even after knowing it's my only transportation and needed to get to work. I will never take my car there again for any purpose. They have lost my business since 2019. The last GM they had was 150% better than this guy they have now. read more

I stopped in get a screw removed. Technician said the screw did not puncture tire all the way , so repair is needed. They still charge $22.49 for putting it on the lift I guess. Won't be coming back with my car or a government t fleet car. read more

I discovered a nail in my tire. Lucky, the leak was slow, so I dropped by after work. When I arrived, the manager held a photo up, and he asked me to point to the area where the nail was located. After pointing to the area, the manager told me he couldn't fix it because the tire would "bust". Understand, this manager never came out and examined my tire for himself. I knew very well where this was going. Six months ago, I had been there with the same problem. On that visit, I had to buy a new tire. The next day, I took my car to their competitor, and they fixed it for $15.00. I have done business with Tires Plus for many years. Somehow, I feel like they've changed. They only want to do those hard sales. Because, a simple repair would be a waste of their time. My advise is, always get a second opinion. It might just save you a lot of money. read more

We have been taking our Dodge Journey for service here for 2 years now and the entire crew knows us when we pull up. They go out of their way to help when Chrysler keeps giving us the run around (anyone with a Chrysler product knows the issues). Got a flat tire last night and needed a matching tire for my car ASAP because I didn't want to be running around on a spare. The first couple of places I called said they didnt have the tire I needed and it would be 3-5 days to get it. I gave Tires Plus a call and spoke to whom I believe was the manager, Bret. He said he could get the tire I needed within a couple of hours. Bingo! I came at the time he suggested and they had my tire. I requested from Bret to please make sure to be careful with my painted black wheels, as I had a previous bad experience w/ wheels being scratched by another tire company. He said no problem and that they would take special care. He proceeded to do the tire change himself. I was in and out within 30 minutes. The price was reasonable and Bret was super nice.
