I spoke with Service Advisor Michelle, who told me that the person who initially inspected my vehicle was technician Brian, not the master mechanic. I asked the manager how I could have been given a $769.55 estimate to replace both assemblies when the existing assemblies worked once they were reconnected. Instead of explaining how the original diagnosis was reached, the conversation focused on why someone would have unplugged the assemblies. I usually don't leave reviews, but what happened here needs to be shared. On November 8th, I brought my car to this Tires Plus location for a simple battery replacement. When the technician opened my driver's door after the service, the internal part of my door handle broke on the spot. My door was working perfectly when I arrived. I even have video proof, where the technician himself acknowledges that the handle was NOT broken before. When I called the store to resolve the issue, the employee Mariana insisted that I should pay for both the part and the labor -- even though the damage happened while my car was under their care. Instead of taking responsibility, the store pushed the cost back on me. I've already escalated the issue to corporate, BBB, and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. I truly hope they make this right, but based on the store's response so far, I cannot recommend this location. If you value transparency, accountability, and professionalism, be cautious with this shop. read more

I took my car in with AC issues. When I made the appointment they said it would take about an hour for diagnostics . It took over 2 hours, they said it was just low on Freon it took 3 pounds. I paid the $257.07 bill. I pull out of the parking lot it still didn't work right. I called them they suggested I bring it back. So I did.. (needless to say I wasn't happy to spend my day off waiting on my car). When the young "mechanic" went to my car to pull it in the bay, he was grinning. Now I know why! After about 45 minutes they came back with a diagnoses. It needs a new compressor, expansion valve, condenser, and evaporator. Why wasn't I told that when I brought it in 3 hours earlier? Now it's gonna cost $3439.80. So by the time all is said and done it would cost $4000. I'm having it replaced but not by Tires Plus. Now they have lost me as a customer. My job has zero room for error. I expect the same when I hire someone to do work on my car. I thought I found my forever car repair shop. Guess customer loyalty means nothing to this shop! read more

I took life time wheel alignment on my brand new tires from the store on alafaya tra in Oviedo Florida. I had to get alignment done 5 imes and eventually my tires were destroyed because they did not do the right job . Today I bought new tires and went to a different location of tires plus. When I informed them with my phone number and my name they said they could not find my credentials. It is totally ridiculous and a horrible experience. Went to Tires Plus in Hunter's Creek to have them patch one of my Tesla tires that had a slow leak, and they tried to tell me that TWO of my tires had nails in them, could not be patched, and needed to be fully replaced by them at the cost of $952 dollars!!! Little did they know that my Tesla tells me which tires are flat, so I knew it was just the one. So when the mechanic showed me two random nails (with no proof that they were from my tires) and said they came from TWO of my tires, I was immediately suspicious. I asked for my car back and made an appointment at Pep Boys on Osceola Pkwy for the following day. The mechanic at Pep Boys patched the one tire with the slow leak in no time at all (for $26 dollars), and told me there was nothing wrong with the other tire. Thank you, for your honesty, Pep Boys. I will never again go to Tires Plus in Hunter's Creek. At the very LEAST, their mechanic is incompetent, and at the MOST, they are scamming customers. Do not trust their word. read more

Employees are rude, and seem like they were just released from prison or have been sheltered forever with no people skills. If you go here, or call, you will be very disappointed you wasted your time. The manager is Corey, and always seems to be apologizing for this location and employees. Be careful, this place is a scam. They told me I had a nail in the side of my tire and I needed a new tire. I was a little skeptical about the place so I took my car to DODGE. At DODGE they showed me the nail was in the center and it only needed to be patched. I ended up paying 30$ instead of buying a new tire for 315$. Be careful people, it's always good to go to the original manufacturer, there are many places like this all over the US. Don't get scammed. Side note, they offer a 10% discount to military, and as a service member myself, this place should be blacklisted. My niece took her car to Tires Plus on Towne Place Blvd. She needed a new tire which was under warranty. They then said she needed a cabin filter change also. After that, without notifying her, said there was 3 broken tire bolts that they replaced. Bill up $500. This place is run by crooks. I have read other postings about them and their practices. My car has fooled many mechanics over the last year. The temperature light would come on when I'd get to highway speed. Anything you can imagine it might be was checked and replaced and still that damn light came on! ‍ I wish I had come to these guys first! Louie was determined to figure it out and he sure did! After checking everything it might possibly be, he pulled the radiator and found all this white debris. Neither of us knew what it was but it was obviously the problem. Purchased tires online paid for them scheduled the appointment got call the next day stating that we had to pay an extra $87 more to have the tires put on because the tires that I had already purchased that were said to be in stock online we're not in stock and then proceeded to tell me that every single tires plus in the entire immediate area does not have those tires in stock would not tell me when they would be in stock said he couldn't tell me and make any promises. So you are all ready coming for a tire be ready to have to buy another tire from that crap they pull in the parking lot. And then I've already have paid 220.00 a tire from these guys a whole set all four tires and not even a month into it the back right tire had a very small nail in it and I need to get it patched so I go back and show they the tire I had a spare tire on and rolled the tire to them they said yes they would patch it closed my truck suv back door and made a report paperwork and took me key and said that they will get her done .... @ 12:00 noon by 1:45 my suv still had not been even pulled into the bay yet. I wait so by now another hour it's now 2:45 pm and I walk up to the kid and he pulls my suv into the left like he is going to do it . So I wait again another 45 minutes. Then the kid walks up to me while I'm on my cellphone to my wife who can hear this conversation now with this kid and he goes hey man have they said anything yet to you I said no they haven't what's up he said man I can patch the tire fine it's just my boss wants you to buy a new tire . Lmfao his own employees tell me this and I'm like wow my wife says get the keys . I go inside the store and ask the guy is this how you guys like to do business you can go ahead and pull my suv out now. Then he says in his whole bs that it was to close to to edge of the tire when it's an brand new tire and 2 inches almost 3 from the edge . So anyways go to Action gator and man they took care of me and under 15 mins patch and tire balanced out and back on my suv with the spare now off and good to go . My tire got a nail in it last night so this morning I was very stressed out as it was Labor Day and the hurricane Dorian still was on its way to Central Florida. So I manage to make it to store 45min before closing, the front desk employee was very welcoming, and helpful, he even recall me calling earlier. He manage to fix my tire and give me advice in any future flat tires. I don't think he knew how important it was to me (as a person going through chemo treatment having a working car to get appointments is key) to have a working car. I would come here again, just for all the helpfulness the employee gave me. The price of the fix was fair and not over price like other places I called that day. I came for a simple alignment and they convince me to purchase 2 new tires . Came back the following week for a noise and the diagnostic was to change the other 2 used tires . I end up purchasing an alignment and 4 new tires. However , the noise did not go away and the new diagnostic was the Wheel Bearing and Hub Assembly. These people are are not trustworthy. read more

BEWARE!!! I've come here to have minor work done on my car twice and ended up having major issues. They intentionally did damage to my motor mounts. The first time it happened I thought it was a coincidence and didn't make the connection but now I am 100 percent sure and this was confirmed by my mechanic. I am contacting a lawyer ASAP. They take advantage of single women, which is why they make you leave your car to call you back hours later with a laundry list of things that you didn't have wrong before you dropped it. Tire pressure sign came on and my right drivers side tire was going low, with a busy weekend ahead of us I didn't want to take a chance of having a complete flat. Tires Plus is right down the street so I called and made an appointment bringing my 2 small children with me, after all how long can a tire repair take, especially since I had made an appointment?? An hour and 1/2 later (The shop is closing, the kids' patience has ran out) I go up to the counter to see what is going on. The woman at the front counter proceeds to tell me that the they tried to patch the tire twice and it wouldn't take. But of course they could throw a new tire on there (not the same tire that was on the other three) and it would only take 20 minutes and around $300 later. I declined citing the time and my two very done kids. She told me the tire would probably hold for a while because they attempted to patch it, it's just going to be a very slow leak. It took another 15 minutes for them to fill the tire and pull the vehicle out of the bay. I don't know what's going on here but the whole thing was very slow and a little bit scammy/fishy. As I sat for an hour and a half it seemed that everyone's car had some type of major issue that needed to be fixed right then hmmmmmmm. Don't take the bait find someplace that's reputable. The staff are very professional and courteous. Took my 2017 Hyundai Sonata Limited Hybrid to them and they suggested the best tires for it. Also checked the alignment for free even though I had just did it at a dealership 2 weeks before. The alignment was messed up by the dealer and that's why it kept pulling left. They corrected it and the car drives better now than when it was new. You will not find a nicer manager than Mr. Damien Browning. He helped me with everything to get my rebates. He really knows his stuff. I would recommend this place for all your automotive needs they even recommended where to get the best window washer fluid and where to get it even showed me what the bottle looks like so I would get the right product. I was quoted $720 for replacement rotors and breaks. Everywhere else I've spoken to has given me quotes in the $400-500 area. I told them I wanted the price for these two things. They insisted they would look at the breaks and tell me. Then they got under my hood. I don't see a reason for them to do that. They say it would cost $24 dollars just to check and a $124 for a new battery My car is a corolla! I drive down the road to Walmart. Battery check free. Needed a new battery. ****This place is a complete rip off.**** So I usually do all of my work on my vehicle myself as I know it will be cheaper but MY GOD this place is putting people in debt. So I called about having a sensor replaced on my vehicle... First, let me start by saying that whoever they have answering the phone really gives off the impression that they don't care... on multiple occasions. Second, they wanted something like $50-60 for a part I can buy online for around $17. When I asked why it was so expensive he just said "corporate pricing". So I asked for a part number so I could see exactly what they planned on putting on my vehicle (I don't want a part that isn't made for my specific make) well he absolutely refused. Which to me means either it's not a part made for my vehicle and he doesn't want me to know that, or the price I'll find after looking up the number will be MUCH lower than the price they are charging. ( I understand businesses need to make a profit but +300% markup??) Third, the price they gave me for labor was asinine as well. A buddy in my home town owns a shop like this and the way he explained it was that they charge a flat hourly rate and get how long it should take to do the work out of a book. However the job I needed should not take longer than 45 mins for any experienced mechanic, but they were attempting to charge me for 2hrs of work. ******************* In addition******************** I also came here a while back and asked the man behind the counter how much it would cost to have my battery checked, he (seemingly) ignored me, so I asked again, to which he asked me for the make and model of my vehicle (extremely weird question as a battery is a battery) however still no answer as to how much. He continues to type on the computer so I ask a third time and instead of answering me he prints out a contract and tells me to sign it.... so I stop him and gather all of his attention this time before asking for the FOURTH time, to which he gives me an absurd number. I ask him just to check a battery?? To which he replies "well we don't just check the battery, we check the entire electrical system" This was not what I needed nor was it the service I even asked for, I simply needed my battery checked. This man (who I assume by his attitude is the same man I spoke with on the phone about the sensor mentioned above.) was extremely rude the entire process which should have ended as soon as I asked initially if he had told me they don't "just" check batteries. Absolutely ridiculous service, also discount tire beats the hell out of tires plus tires and I've never once had a bad experience with them, my wife and I take take out vehicles there instead of tires plus and the amount of flexibility these guys have while working with you are awesome.
