    Took my car in for an oil change this morning, and as always was happy by my service. Employees are always helpful and give me a coupon if I don't have one. Wait times are rarely longer than an hour and a half, and I happily just walk to Starbucks and wait there. (Although you could also walk to One Love, Taste, and Crafty Bastards.)

    On my way to work, the bolts on my splash guard fell off on the driver side and I was dragging the guard on the ground. I called the shop and they told me that it would be a couple hours to get it looked at (and they couldn't even do much other then tie it back on till I got to a shop that could actually fix it) cause they had a full list and some appointments ahead of me. I told the guy it was fine and I had a ride all planned to pick me up so I could leave the car there for as long as it took. However, the guy I was talking to told me to meet him in the parking lot and he zip tied my guard back on and gave me a recommendation for a shop that could actually fix it. He took less than 10 minutes to tie it back in and wouldn't even take the $10 I was trying to hand him. Even though they didn't actually fix my car, they made sure I was safe to drive and did their best to help me. I'm new to the area and I'll definitely come back if I have any more issues with my car.

    I took my pickup in yesterday. They did an oil change and free tire rotation while I waited. Considerate and helpful. I highly recommend.

We also stated it was our only vehicle and would need it then. Almonds called us week later to explain we needed a new manifold & the price. We told them to go ahead with the repair & we would be back at the end of the following week. They called us again 4 days before we were to return to tell us they lost our truck keys, so they had not started the repair yet. 2 hours later they called to say they found our keys. We told them again we would be in late that same week for the truck. Jan 16, Friday, we called to pay for the repair by phone, so we could pickup our truck Saturday . We were told they had not even started our repair yet! I scrambled to call around to find a rental car for the weekend. I finally found one available at Budget-it cost $300! We drove there first thing Monday, only to find they had just pulled our truck into the shop then proceeded told us that they had no idea when they would finish the job that it could take a few more days! I was very upset and told him how he cost us money and he did not care. He admitted he lost the keys and waited 5 days before calling us to tell us! He also admitted he failed to get our truck into the shop in over 3 weeks time, knowing we were coming back to no vehicle and he then admitted not having anyone let us know it was still not completed or why. No follow up, no customer service. NO APOLOGIES AT ALL. JUST AN OBSTINTANT and ARROGANT ATTITUDE. ONLY INCOMPETANCE FROM THE START. I would not trust this place, as they have proven to be unreliable and incompetent when you need them most!

My daughter took her vehicle in for a nail in the tire, we ended up with four new tires. The car entered the garage without body damage and exited the garage with a significant dent, scratch, and paint removed on the driver side rear passenger area. The supervisor there stated they would take care of us and sent her to get an estimate on body repair. She went to two places, and the estimate was emailed. They assured us that they take care of their customers and they would take care of this. The manager came in a few days later and stated that it could not have happened in the garage because her car had white paint on it and that somebody must have hit it in the parking lot and therefore it is our responsibility. I have always thought once you give someone your keys at a service department, what happens to the car during that time is their responsibility. I have no idea what happened when the technician parked the car in the parking lot and drove it in and out of the garage. We filed a claim with Firestone and the claims department denied it stating that it must have been hit in the parking lot. Bottom line is we lost and we have to report it to our insurance company and pay the deductible. They did offer to pay the deductible, but we have not seen any follow up on that. The decision was made by two people who were not there during the incident and minimal consideration was given to the customer. So therefore the customer is wrong and Firestone is right and the burden is on us. My mother always said that this world is not fair and don't expect it to be, but it sure is hard sometimes. We hate to stop using the Carrollwood location but they really left us no choice. Trying to accept the injustice here and just move on. Thanks for reading.

    I gave them another chance after my last bad experience. Big mistake…read more I brought my Accord in with a complaint of noise from the rear wheels,stating that I thought it was the wheel bearing(s) since they had done rear brakes only 15K miles ago. I asked them to look at the front brakes too, since they hadn't been replaced in many years. They said it was the brakes, which I authorized. They replaced them and insisted that all 4 rotors needed to be replaced. after the work was done (around $1000) they informed me that one of the rear wheel bearings was starting to go bad and I should bring it back for replacement. They quoted $600 for the job. I requested the old rotors and only one was bad. I took them home and miked them, the other three were well over the minimum thickness for turning. Despite the disability that I brought home from Iraq, I jacked up that wheel to check it out. The bearing was so bad that the entire wheel wobbled about an inch back and forth. I ordered a replacement bearing on Amazon for $50 and paid a guy from church $60 to replace it. It took about 1 hour. I will never go to Firestone again, and will never recommend them to anyone again. I have spent around $10,000 there over the years, but they'll never see another nickle from me and I seriously contemplated a small claims lawsuit.
