I took my vehicle to replace my tires on March 1st.  My vehicle rode super smooth, tires were just ready to replace. James sold me on the Bridgestone tires. All done, nothing said. Ad soon as I left I noticed they were a little loud felt unbalanced. I called and made an appointment to get them rebalanced. One of the techs went with me on a test drive, agreed there was a little shaking in the tires and would rebalance them. Corey called and told me two of the wheels were bent, without getting a chance to respond, he said that they didn't bend the wheels. Said it would have to be a very hard hit to bend those wheels....I told him I never had an issue with my wheels, nor was anything mentioned to me before leaving from having tires installed and balanced. He sent me a video of another persons wheels. I picked up my vehicle, still noticed they were off so I made another appointment and comes to find out. They were unbalanced by .75. While they were being rebalanced, I got to see the wheels off with my own eyes, and I took photos, and video. There were two flat spots, one on each rim.   It was very odd that the flat spot had no marks from hitting anything, but only a distinctive matching flat spot with grooves both matching on each wheel.   I called a few places that fix rims, sent them photos and each one of them told me it was guaranteed done by the tire machine, "TECH ERROR" without doubt, 100%. Wheel was clamped incorrectly, from the inside, casting the damage. Not machine fault, but technician. They all said it was very obvious by looking at the grooves and the size of the flat spot.   It was so obvious they said anyone that sees this that knows could tell you.   Their own words.   I called Tire Plus, spoke to Corey, he denied it could be the machine, I was going to put him on three-way with the owner of one company that fixes wheels.    I wanted to make sure I did all my due diligence and do the right thing before I accuse the shop, but it is 100%.   What's sad, is the wheel repair felt so bad and angry how they denied damages that the owner said he would fox for free.... It was unfortunate that comes to find out. They are out of state. They have the same name as another wheel repair place in town. When I called Tire Plus to see if they would just help and just remove the wheels from me so I can get them fixed, Cory said sure....30 minutes later Corey alls me, told me James said I am not welcome there lol. And that is that there was no words exchanged, no anger talk or anything whatsoever, just straight up bad customer service. I emailed Firestone but have not heard back. Thank you for a great brake service 5/6/25. After going to the competitor across the street and getting a quote almost 3 times the amount adding in parts I didn't need, and waiting an hour and a half for the quote while the tech walked around my car smoking. I'm glad I was smart enough to get a second opinion and went to Tires Plus. I can't believe how the other chain brake store was going to over charge me and sell me parts I didn't even need. I took my truck to this shop to have a fuel pump replaced. It was installed at a fair price. A week later one of the fuel hoses came off at a red light in Destin. I called Tires Plus in Fort Walton and was told to have it towed there. I was told that they probably couldn't look at it for a couple of days. I called a tow truck in Destin to have it taken to Fort Walton. The driver found the disconnected hose,and recommended a local shop that could repair it within an hour. I figured that it would be cheaper than towing it to Fort Walton and being without my truck for a couple of days. It still cost almost $ 200.00 for the tow and close to $ 200.00 for the repair. But I was back on the road. I stopped by Tires Plus and was told to come by on Monday to speak with the manager. The manager told me that if I had brought it to them they would have paid for the tow and repair because it was under warranty. But now I was out of luck because it was repaired by another shop. If the employee that answered the phone had given me this information I would have probably taken it there. I paid around $800.00 for the fuel pump installation. And am still paying for that on a Tires Plus credit card that I have since destroyed.Tires Plus perhaps for Tires. But not for major auto repair. read more

While on vacation in ft Walton, we experienced a puncture and slow leak on a truck tire. This location looked at the puncture and stated they could not patch it due to the puncture location. I asked if they could order a tire while I was in town for 3 days on vacation and install it when it comes in. They stated they couldn't get the tire that fast. So they couldn't fix it or sell me a tire. They did however inflate the tire to get me down the road. When I arrived back in my hometown, the local tire shop easily patched the puncture and stated any tire shop should easily be able to patch a puncture in the tread. read more

I had to have my tire changed here because of a flat front tire. There were some communication issues so my wait was longer than expected. Cory made sure I was taken care of and righted the wrong. We purchased a lifetime alignment from the store in Fort Walton Beach, FL. On 17 May 2022 (at 1:43 PM) I took the car in for an alignment and after the alignment was done, they told me that there was a leak around the transmission fluid pan and that the fluid was low. They also advised me that they did not do these types of repairs. Since the repair is fairly straight forward I told them I could do it myself but asked them to top the transmission fluid off for me, which they kindly did and at no charge. This is a good store more interested in the long term than the short term. I rarely give anyone or any store 5 stars, but do so this time because they deserve it. read more

I received awesome service! Before I went to work, I was already dreaming of a quick nap afterward; before my afternoon dental appointment. Instead, I walked out of work to a flat tire. After a quick look over of the tire, I knew it couldn't be plugged. I put on the donut and drove to Tires Plus because that's where I purchased my tires. They confirmed that it could not be plugged. I went to tires plus for a tire rotation w/ a balance and alignment. I hit I10 to go home. Got to about 65mph and my car to starts to shake! Steering wheel vibration. let my hands off the wheel. My car shoots to the right. I gave them a call to let them know. the manager instantly tells me HE WATCHED THEM do the balance. told me there must be an underlying issue. Instead of offering to double check the work. He told me he'll refund me for me to get a second opinion ! I went to TWO different places. first place just looked at it and told me nothing is wrong with my CAR That would cause that. Must be a tire out of balance. yeah sure. I got my money back. I bought a full set of tires from these guys last year, and the service was excellent. They didn't sell the type of tires that was already on my Jeep, buy had a comparable set of a different brand. They did fast, quality work. I've since been back for a rotation and balance, and once again they did a great job. We took our car in before a lengthy trip and told the technician our brakes were squeaking and snd the car was shimmering and shaking. Also requested the tires be rotated. We were told our brakes were fine. They did not know if the tires were rotated or not. We were in a mountainous area on our trip where when we put on brakes, the car continued to shake violently and brakes squealing the whole time. Went to Tires Plus with a leak problem. The process to find the leak was water spray. I was told there was a leak around the valve which was incorrect. Had they taken the tire off they would have noticed the puncture in the sidewall. I will not be returning and will visit the local tire store. read more

I have been a loyal customer to this Tires Plus location since about 2005. I also convinced my mom to become a loyal customer there a few years ago -- recommending them. A few months ago I bought 4 new tires there. This morning I needed to get a nail in one of my tires removed and to have it plugged. I was told that the cost would be a minimum of $35 to fix the tire. $35 for a 5 min repair??? AND I just recently bought 4 new tires from them?? Don't go here if you want to be overcharged!! Also, they overcharged me on my last oil change there -- I was supposed to receive a discount because I drive for Uber but didn't get one. I just let that one go but I am finished with this shop now! Went to Pep Boys -- they plugged it for free! I would have been fine with a $10-$15 price -- but $35 is ridiculous! My mom won't be going there anymore either! read more

I have bought complete set of tires for my truck and my car plus used them to work on my truck. I recently got a nail in my tire, went over to get it fixed, to my surprise the first word out of the service rep, "I can't do it today, 5 cars from people out of town, etc you know". Did not take one look at the Tire! He offered to get me an appointment for Monday. It showed me that there is no loyalty for repeat customers, they are ok with people from out of town. I was a little hesitant to use Tires Plus because it's a chain, but my experience at this location was absolutely wonderful! I called to get a price quote before I actually went to the store and Lucas was very informative and professional. When I got to the store, he was just as courteous and eager to help. Lucas showed me different options of tires and prices and offered me the extra warranty at a discount, which I took. After I dropped the car off, Lucas called me to inform me that my car would be ready soon, but that my free alignment check showed my alignment was off (something I had expected) and offered an alignment at a discounted price because of my tire purchase. I accepted the alignment, knowing that if I didn't do it now, I'd probably keep putting it off and never get it done. When I got back to the shop about half an hour before closing, there were two other people waiting on their cars as well. Too many times you worry taking your car to a shop out of lack of trust (quality of work, over charging...etc), but not here. Luke answered all of my questions up front, was professional, and actually friendly about it! So here is my story. I had a check engine light come on and did a scan of my own. I took it down to Tires Plus and they found the same thing. They ordered the parts and gave me an appointment. 3 hours after it was in I got a call from them and they told me that something had gotten into my engine compartment, probably squirrels, and had eaten allot of wires. They could not give me a good estimate because every time they removed something they found more wires that were damaged. They then suggested I contact my insurance company. I would not have even thought about that. I actually thought they were crazy. Well my insurance did cover it and after the truck had been down there 6 days with no adjuster showing up they offered to start calling the insurance company to found out what was going on. About the same time I was already in contact with the insurance company and they had forgotten to contact an adjuster. The crew down at Tires Plus was really understanding about my truck taking up space. When the adjuster finally made it down to Tire Plus he naturally tried to challenge the repairs. From what I could gather the guys there convinced the adjuster that they had repaired what needed to be repaired to prevent future problems. Let me start by saying that up until now I have a had good service from this establishment. The store manager on duty today has made this place a "no go" zone for me. I was there to have 4 brand new tires mounted and balanced on wheels that I just recently had powder coated. The store manager informed me that they would not mount the tires due to the fact I had removed the stickers from the tires. The tires were obviously brand new with no signs of wear or prior mounting. I had this exact same service provided by Tires Plus less than a year ago with no problems. What made this experience even more annoying is that the store manager kept calling me "boss man". I immediately went to OK Tire off of Racetrack Rd. with a much better experience.
