Have used this place multiple times In the past and never had problems and had fair pricing. My last visit I took my car in for brake lights not working. They ensured me replacing the driver side tail light would fix the issue... I did not think this was the problem but they said it would for sure fix it... $1000 later the lights are still not working. Charged me $850 for the light ($150) part. And $190 for service. Absolutely terrible experience. I spent over $1,000 on brake, rotor, and A/C repairs at the Crestview location in June 2026, and I've had to return four separate times because the work wasn't done correctly. The first time, I couldn't even make it to the next traffic light before a scraping noise started because the brake dust shield had been bent during the repair. A few days later, my front brake caliper came loose while driving, causing my vehicle to pull, grind, and scar the inside of my wheel. That's a serious safety issue that never should have happened. After another visit, my brakes still squealed, and my wheel was left unbalanced because a wheel weight was missing. Throughout all of this, communication was poor. I had to call them for updates myself, was never offered an apology for the repeated inconvenience, and even after the fourth visit, the brake squeal is still there. Mistakes happen, but repeated workmanship issues, poor communication, and a lack of accountability are unacceptable--especially when they involve your brakes. I won't be returning and can't recommend this shop to anyone. 0/5 stars. read more

I am truly surprised by all the positive reviews. Yes, Kayla is very friendly and seems to know what she is talking about. It seems like the day I went in (31Dec 2025) for a normal maintenance checkup, they had inexperienced teenagers working. There was some misunderstanding of what I was there for. I showed Kaylyn my maintenance schedule which was to check fluids and whatever else and tire rotation. My schedule maintenance light was on and the tire pressure in one tire was a little low. After a long wait, Kaylyn said the car was in excellent condition and didn't charge me anything. I get in the car and my maintenance and tire pressure light were still on and I got a strong smell of oil. A couple of days later, I am driving around town and had to turn off the heat because the oil smell was so strong. I got home and looked under the hood. The oil cap was missing and I now had oil on the engine, underside of the hood and on the outside of the car on the passenger side. It makes no sense that they took the oil cap off. That tells me that they topped it off. They do not carry the right kind of weight that my car requires. I bought an oil cap and went back to Precision. Kaylyn looked at the notes the mechanic made and the notes indicated that they did not do anything or that the oil cap was missing. Of course it wasn't missing. She was baffled as to what happened and assured me that they would not do anything to the car without getting the okay from me, including topping of the oil. Then why was my cap missing, why oil on the side of the car and why when I got into the car it had a trong oil smell that did not go away? She said they could not do anything about the oil on the engine and hood. She offered to order the correct oil and provide a free oil change. Right, there is no way they are touching my car again. An update: Today Precision customer support called me. They were trying to make my experience right by offering to reimburse me for my oil cap and to have the engine cleaned. The oil cap was maybe $12 so I was not going to worry about it. I do not want to take it back to Precision to get the engine cleaned and I am not sure where to take it, so I will do it myself. Unfortunately my review may have gotten the manager in trouble. I did not want that and I feel awful. It appears she had inexperienced workers that day and her hands were full. But I guess her telling me there was nothing they could do about the oil on the engine was not the correct statement. Thank you Precision for trying to make it right. read more

Turn Signals stopped working after replacing my wife's headlights. I did what we all do, started checking fuses. After a visual inspection, nothing. Well I wound up calling Precision Tune Auto care and spoke with Brandon and told him I messed up somewhere and could use some help. I left my wife's 2010 Rav4 with him and he would call when he learned anything. Turned out I missed a fuse. Went to pick it up and asked what I owed him, he smiled, laughed and told me a funny story about hunting for it then said "Have a nice day sir". He didn't have the heart to charge me. These are the kind of folks that are rare these days, good honest people. I left a generous tip for their trouble, and left feeling good about the encounter. read more

Brought car in to Crestview, FL Precision Tune Auto Care for oil change. Upon completion, I asked if military discount was given and was told it was. Reviewed paperwork after paying and found it was not given. After mentioning this, they applied the discount. It had been raining and they asked me to retrieve my own vehicle out of the garage which I did. This is poor service and I am not sure this is a good business practice to allow customers into the work are to do this. On my way home, I noticed my oil change indicator was not reset. I brought the car back and waited in the rain while a young man attempted to reset the oil change indicator. He had to look it up online while I was rained on. After resetting, he blew by me without a word. We have 4 vehicles and have been going here for years, but to day the lost a customer. To summarize: 1. Lied to about discount being applied. 2. Had to retrieve my own vehicle out of garage due to rain. 3. Waited in rain while young man tried to figure out how to reset oil change light. 4. Not a word regarding apologies for discount not being applied or shoddy customer service. We have been bringing our cars here for a long time, but we will no longer. read more

I brought my best friends vehicle in today 7/7/21 for an oil change and the current managers special. They opened up on time and informed customers about 3 mins prior to opening that they are just unlocking doors and then they would be getting the ball rolling pretty much. The entire staff was very polite and courteous during the entirety of my wait, even given that they were pretty busy. They handled all customer concerns politely. I also appreciated that it was no pressure to have extra services done if they found an issue along the way. Had an issue with my passenger windows and rear driver window wouldn't roll up or down. A nice man explained what he thought would be the issue in great detail and helped me understand the possible problem. Luckily after plugging the switch back in the windows were able to roll up and down, wasn't charged at all. Overall great experience, I will definitely come back for future issues. read more

Worst automotive shop ever. For over 2 years they have missed diagnosed my car. I had a engine misfire issue caused by clogged catalytic converters. This cause was discovered after a engine replacement and many thousands of dollars invested. This pictures below are the newly purchased catalytic converters poorly assembled by precision auto tune. We'll they weren't even put on. Upon taking my car to the dealer I discovered they basically just sat the converters on the cross members and left them. Without even connecting them. Another $1000 gone! When I went back to precision auto tune the manager Chad informed me that the owners son(who is not certified) was basically practicing...and that my car was not the only car he had messed up. Really?? I've been trying to get a refund for a month now...I'm over it! Voted by many...MOST TRASH AUTOMOTIVE SHOP IN CRESTVIEW FL. Took my car to the dealer and it now runs great! read more

Before giving my keys I was informed of all prices and fees and why the prices what they where (for example my vehicle takes more oil). I've been doing business with these guys for over 5 years now. I trust them to take care of the basics like oil changes, cabin air filters, and even recommended tune ups. VERY SHADY! I once went in to this establishment to have them put a vacuume on my AC system. I had just finished installing all the new parts myself so I wanted them to use their machine to bench test it and see if there were still any leaks in the system. First of all the guy behind the counter was extremely rude, he acted like I was coming in there asking them to do something for free, I was a paying customer but it felt like I was begging a friend to help me out, absolutely ridiculous. Then when I explained my situation he abruptly interrupted me and said "IF THE FREON LEAKS YOUR PAYING NO MATTER WHAT BUDDY!" It took me back hard and thought maybe he'd misunderstood, but he just kept arguing that same point. I'm not your average customer for auto repairs, I spent years in a shop and know very well how to charge an AC system. You most definitely DO NOT charge a system without putting a vacuume on it then wait to see if the negative pressure equalized. This guy refused to listen and was absolutely adamant about having me pay for for a full service charge even if he knew before hand the system was leaking. Or I'll even wager that he doesn't actually put freon on, but charges the customer for it anyway as the total package then explains later it leaked out and needs repairs. As an experianced mechanic, go somewhere else, I wouldn't trust this guy AT ALL. read more

I will NEVER give this company my business ever again !!!!! I took my car in for a simple oil change and discovered they had just been taken over by new management. That was no problem. At least until the new Manager took me out to my car to tell me that I had a "spurting" oil leak, and my serpentine belt needed to be changed. When I asked for the oil leak to be shown to me, the Manager kept dodging my question and wouldn't show me. Instead he told me that he was the professional and I should trust his judgement. Upon leaving his behavior was very shady. He stated "See you tomorrow about that oil leak !" After leaving I started having issues with one of my tires going flat. I came to find that my Valve Stem on my tire had been BROKEN !!!! Thankfully when I removed the cap, the valve core went into the cap and I was able to put air in my tire and make it to a shop t ok have it repaired. Thankfully the staff at Bowen Truck and Auto were honest and efficient. They fixed it for me and confirmed my suspicion that my valve stem had indeed been BROKEN in half. (It didn't just happen on it's own). I returned to precision to speak with the manager about his extremely poor customer service, and to notify him that I would be calling the Better Business Bureau to inform them of their shady services. I left my car in the care of the company to be looked at and was planning on paying them $1660 quote they gave me to fix my car but when I picked up my car from them it had been broken into. The people left my car unlocked in the back. The thieves trashed my car and stole a couple of stuff. I mostly feel violated and I cant trust them with my car again. My ac died, and after ready the reviews here I decided to take my car there. A simple freon check of $80 quickly expanded to an $800+ cost to replace the compressor, which finally maxed out at just ovier $1,000. I was traveling through, they had my car, and I needed it back. I checked parts prices on line and I paid at least two times more for the compressor than necessary. So, they may be great for routine stuff, but I say buyer beware beyond that. read more

not very happy with them. took plug wires and plugs to them for them to change. my car had a skip in it. was told this is what was needed to fix it. .After it was completed and they called me to pick it up they told me.. " it still has a skip in it" I ask them are you sure the wires are on the right plugs? They said yes, " we doubled chat wires checked them to make sure". Well after another 140.00 in parts and labor I found out that wire number 3 and 5 are on wrong ...a simple fix......just change them around..So this tells me they did not double check them. so don't think I will be going back to them......not very happy.. read more
