I had all six tires replaced on my RV at Day's Automotive in Crestview. The service was expensive, but I was willing to pay a premium price because I expected professional workmanship and customer service. Initially, everything appeared fine when I drove the RV home. However, on our first camping trip a couple of weeks later, the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) alerted after about 20 miles on the road. All four rear dual-wheel tire pressure readings dropped out and never came back. Because this issue appeared immediately after the tire replacement, I contacted the shop. When I called, I was told by the receptionist that it was not something they had done and that I should take it to a Ford dealership. What disappointed me most was that no one offered to inspect the RV or even take a look at the problem. The response was essentially an immediate denial of responsibility. When I arrived at the campground several hours later, I discovered that five of the chrome lug nuts securing the wheel simulator cover were loose and one was completely missing. One of the nuts would just spin and could not be tightened. This is a 2025 RV, so these were not worn-out or aging components. I sent an email to the company's customer issues department describing both concerns and requesting assistance. After receiving no response, I sent a follow-up email asking whether any action was being taken. I still did not receive a response. What has been most frustrating is not simply the mechanical issues, but the lack of customer support afterward. Problems can happen at any shop. What matters is how a business responds when a customer reports a concern. In my case, I was unable to get anyone to inspect the vehicle, address the loose hardware, or provide a meaningful response to my emails. I cannot recommend this location based on my experience. Customers spending thousands of dollars on tire work should reasonably expect follow-up support when issues arise immediately afterward. read more

Lazy at Best, Irresponsible at Worst Casey, the technician, ran a compression test, showed 0 psi on cylinder 6, but did not perform a leak-down test to determine where the compression was actually going. A leak-down test takes minimal time and is standard practice for diagnosing internal engine issues. Instead, I was told they "don't have the capacity to do internal engine repairs" and the only recommendation was to replace the entire engine for $12,000-$13,000 -- on an engine with only 75,000 miles. I then took the truck to the dealership down the road, where they performed a proper diagnostic and found 226 psi on cylinder 6. The actual issue was an intermittent ignition coil, which was confirmed by ohming it out and manipulating the connector. That is not a proper diagnosis. It's lazy at best and irresponsible at worst to skip basic troubleshooting and full diagnostic testing simply because internal repairs are not something the shop performs. This felt more like a business decision than a technical conclusion. read more

I had a very disappointing experience with Days Tire Pros in Crestview. My van was shaking every time I accelerated, so I took it in hoping to get it fixed. Unfortunately, I wasted about a day and a half waiting around, as they couldn't properly diagnose the issue. The communication was poor, and they claimed the problem was with the tie rods, when the actual issue turned out to be the CV axles. They also added unnecessary charges for motor mounts and a chuck absorber and also a realignment. .. , on the other hand, the new shop confirmed that were perfectly fine and that for less than $1100 the problem would be taking care . In the end, the new shop tprovided fast and efficient service at a much lower cost. BY THE WAY, WITHOUT ALL THE UNNECESSARY CHARGES, I WAS MORE THAN $3500 away from the actual cost of repairing the real issue ... I would not recommend this place. read more

Did not tell me there would be a diagnostic charge of $139. Part of estimate also included new spark plugs and coil igniter. Additional charge for changing radiator was a charge of $309 for coolant flush. I've been going here for 17 years and recommending to others. NEVER again! read more

I had a screw in my back tire this morning and my low pressure light was on. I aired the tire up enough to drive to Crestview. I chose to stop at Days tire to repair the tire. Upon checking the tire I was told that according to new regulations they were no longer allowed to patch the tire because the screw wasn't located close enough to the very center of the tire. However, I noticed it was well inside the repair area. I told them thanks but I'd be going somewhere else. I then took the car to Walmart where the tire was absolutely repairable. We went in there this morning to have the tires rotated, for free, as we purchased the tires there. The mechanic stated the tires were out of date, and therefore could not be rotated. We bought them there, and have not had them that long. He then said the tread was dry rotted, which after inspection, it is not. Excellent! Days tires has always been great to deal with. I've used them for my U-Haul needs back in the 1900's with no complaints. Days tire was there when my son needed his low profile run flat tires installed. Something Walmart couldn't seem to do for him. Alignments and front end work that I had done all good. Teenagers beware. My daughter took our car there as a different mechanic told her she could not get an alignment and had issues with tie rods on a 2012 Prius. Day's told her bring it down for estimate, then charged for that even though their paperwork says free estimates. Ok, fine. They quoted her 6 parts, including Rack & Pinion, said tie rods are not separate on this car (also untrue). Said due to age of car they added struts to quote (which are less than 1yr old). When I questioned that part, they stated they didn't check, it was just the age of the vehicle. WE PAID YOU TO CHECK, not make up items that could be bad because it's old. She comes home and rack & pinion now has a dripping leak in my driveway. Their price for R&P part alone for rebuilt part was 4x the price of O'Rilley ($475 - $70 core) for same part / brand (their MasterPro - $1520) for just the part. MSRP for Toyota OEM is $795. They even put a supply fee of $6.00 on top of the diag fee, even though there were no supplies. Her boyfriend took his car for alignment a few months ago and somehow they claim he also had a leaking rack & pinion now. read more

I took my 2013 Cadillac XTS to get my tires balanced and rotated after I put 6,000 miles on all 4 new tires. They balanced all 4 wheels, but did not rotate them because the rear tires had 2/32 more tread on them then the front tires did and they said the rear tires have to have more tread depth then the front tires. It's a front wheel drive car! Using their flawed logic, front wheel drive cars should never have their wheels rotated! DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR THERE FOR TIRE ROTATION IF IT'S FRONT WHEEL DRIVE!!! read more

Took my truck in to have the spare tire, which was on the left front, taken off and put on under the truck. I also asked them to mount a tire in the bed of my truck and mount it on the left front, which they did in a matter of minutes! I had Crestview Tires repair the flat and asked them to do the same they said they did not have time. Seriously? Everyone sells tires, you are suppose to sell service. Go to Day's Tires! Trusted! These people are great. I had a blowout with one of my tires last week and they were as helpful as could be. They went out of their way to call them manufacturer and ask if they would help with the cost of my new tire as it isn't a cheap one. They overnighted it and mounted and balanced it before opening the next morning. That's awesome customer service. Then the next day when I realized my tire was low I went back and they filled all of them with nitrogen in 2 minutes. Awesome people great business. Good job guys read more

I had my tires mounted, on my wheels, at a "big box" store in Fort Walton Beach using a dry media in place of wheel weights. The job was not accomplished correctly and I received an excessive amount of aggression from some of the workers when I asked them to dismount the tires so I could do it correctly. I should have gone to Day's first but I was in Fort Walton Beach already. Day's Tire performed the service immediately and with a level of knowledge that I did not expect. Miss Day will not allow her mechanics to sell you something you don't need. If you think you are a mechanic, fix it yourself. otherwise tell them your problem and let the PROFESSIONAL MECHANICS figure it out. They're kind of like Doctors for your car and I'm sure you don't tell Doctors how to treat your ailments. I love to work on my own car, but when I get in over my head, the ONLY place I will trust my VW with a 1.8 Turbo is Day's Tire Pro and Service Center. Unreliable and dishonest. I took my car in to have an alignment done because I replaced both lower ball joints on my vehicle. I requested that they checked the torques on the ball joint nuts for security, and they told me they did. Two day later, after driving back and forth to Hurlburt Field from Crestview (33 miles) I could feel my front end shifting. I looked at one of my ball joints and noticed the nut had almost spun off the ball joint threads! I called and told the the issue and they brought me in immediately, which I applauded. They then proceeded to tell me that I had a faulty ball joint and I needed to replace it again. I told them to zip the nut down and I would. Never replaced the ball joint and the nut is still on. They never torqued them to begin with, and let me drive out of there with no regard for my safety. I am absolutely disappointed with this company and will not return. read more
