On Friday 10-3, one of my crew vans was displaying signs of low voltage. The lead tech in that van lives just across the bridge in Shalimar which makes sense to take the van to that location because of the proximity to his house. When they first arrived at PT the tech there was telling them that until they get some juice in the battery they cannot test it definitively. So the crew left the van there, signed an estimate statement that no more than $550 worth of work could take place without getting prior authorization. They never called anyone, and wound up charging my company $720 to install a battery that I can get at Auto Zone for $200 or less. The battery alone was $553! Well what happened to the phone call to get authorization? Now they won't return anyone's phone call from our office. I agree the battery they put in the van is probably the best in that class, but I would have been fine with a $200 battery, had I had the opportunity to express that! But no phone call makes that part of the process a mute point. Just an FYI: 2 weeks ago we had another battery replaced in the same model van for $279 in Daphne Alabama at Tameron Hyundai. These guys are crooks I guess, and will never change their color. Stay away from this location at all cost, or take your chances and probably get burned. read more

We were traveling from out of town and all the lights on the dash came on. This was Friday before New Years. They took the car and ran a lot of codes but figured out the problem. No Stars for this one. My daughter took my car from Brakes. 1st it took 2hrs longer than promised All Day. Car Immediately Squeeked she took it back 2 days later. They took All day to apply a Grease. She picked up Still Squeaking. Called & took back 2 days later. They kept the car 5 day's waiting on ordered Brakes Keep in mind my daughter has to get rides back & forth to work. Then be Without a car when they Promise to have her Fixed & Don't. Got it back same Squeak. I called Customer Service & left 3 Message. 4 days later I get a call from Jessica the Manager at the Location that Can't get me Right. No Ma'me have The Real Customer Service call me. I am a customer of Precision Tune Auto Care in Fort Walton Beach, Florida and I have brought business to them in the past. However, in this situation I was requesting that the business turn down their loud music that they were blasting into the neighborhood. Their response was to ask the police to give me a trespass warning. This is an unbelievably bad response to a simple customer request. Their request to the police calls it a "feud" and came from the business owner according to the paperwork. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior for any business. I would suggest looking elsewhere for auto service, who knows, if you have a complaint they might have you arrested! read more

They charge $55 for synthetic oil change (including tax, etc) which is already a dream. Another auto shop charged me $80 last oil change. They also give you a punch card for your 5th oil change with them free! They are two hardworking guys and were very nice. Definitely will be returning next oil change. read more

My car engine light came on while in Ft Walton Beach, FL. Luckily, a Precision Tune Auto Care was near the hotel I was staying at. I stopped by the shop that morning and the manager, Sam, was very informative and helpful. I left my car with him as he assured me that he would call and let me know what was needed before he begin the work. As promised, Sam called and told me what needed to be done and how much it would cost. At the end of day, I got my repaired car back and did not have to pay an arm and a leg for the service. I took my car in for AC repair. After three return trips and around $400, they said they could not find the leak, take it to somebody else.

I have been taking my cars there for years. But something seems to have happened the last couple of times. Jake isn't there any more. He was always a straight up guy. They seem to have completely new staff. Today I took my car in for an oil change and when I got home I noticed the maintenance light was still on. I called to question the guy at the counter about whether they even changed the oil. He got nasty with me for calling. No apologies, or nothing. He just said if I wanted to come back up he would reset the light. I was concerned till I looked under the hood and saw where the guy had spilled oil all over the engine. I don't know what has changed up there but they won't see my cars again. read more

I tried giving this place the benefit of the doubt, but not anymore. My first complaint was the 2nd time I came in for an oil change. Everything went without a hitch, until about a day later when my service engine light turned on. I took it to the dealer since I have the warranty, and they noticed they left the air filter cap off. Well i figured it was a mistake and didn't need to be brought up. Next time I took it there again, I pointed the incident out to the desk clerk, and she gave me a scowl. She went out and said something to the guys and it seemed like no one even listened to what she said. Lo and behold, the air filter was magically left open again and my dash computer said the oil was never even filled. I checked it manually, and it appeared the adequate height, so they must have just been too lazy to change it manually on the computer. Incredibly sketchy place filled with people who will try to upsell you and scam you. I went in for a premium oil change since it was so cheap and they lied to me and tried to tell me that my valve cover gasket was leaking and they could fix it for $200. I had a friend who is a mechanic look at it, and also another trusted friend. NOTHING was wrong with it. Don't trust this place. Go somewhere else. Oil change and tire rotation, over 2 hours and $83+ I normally do not write complaints, but I have to warn you about this place. It is my first time using them. It takes over an hour for a oil change when i had no one in front of me for service, and when I ask the cashier if the tires had been rotated, she says yes without even checking, telling me they were changed on the lift outside. I then ask the mechanic if they had been changed and he says no, stating "I didnt even notice they were supposed to be. So he takes the truck back, and a little over an hour later he brings it back around. I get in my vehicle and the warning lights had not been trued off, and the sticker they put in my windshield indicated that the oil they put in was the regular stuff not the full synthetic I had paid for. Do they show me proof that it was the right oil, no the manager just goes out turns off the warning and puts a new sticker on. I then look at the form for what work had been done on my car, everything was checked, it looked like I had my brakes changed my transmission redone literally everything, so I have no idea what actual work was done. I was not the only person having issues. This place has horrible customer service and I agree with the other poster that is it very sketchy. The people that work there seem like a bunch of children working with no supervision and no real idea about what they are supposed to do.. Who ever the senior management is needs to re-train his employs. Do not waste your money or you time. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. read more

These people are con artist I went in to get my brake fixed paid to much and a day later my cap came off my rim I called and talked to Jacob he told me to come in to see what they could do he goes in the computer types what he wanted then shows me a paper my cap was already missing when in fact in wasn't and he couldn't do nothing I had my fro out I believe he is racist I don't recommend nobody going to them poor service much read more

I used to get great service at this place. Of course they are in the business of selling services not changing oil. Now Jake seems to be gone and the new group seems to find bigger problems. They told my wife that she had an oil leak from the pan gasket and it was gushing. She put me on the phone and the guy tried to backpeddle and sell me some Lucas stop leak. It is not possible to have a massive oil leak and leave none on the driveway. Filters are one thing but $400 scams should be investigated by the state. read more

I had the premium oil change done today. Everyone that worked there was great. The guy behind the desk (sorry I forgot his name) even put a chair outside for me so I could enjoy the sunshine. I was in and out within 30 minutes even with the tire rotation. I'll be back. read more

I have been to alot of places to change the oil no one ever told me that the oil in there was different type and they told me it's gonna be 93$ from $36 premium. I got a oil change here and when I got home my car was leaking oil. I went back to tell them thinking they just didn't tighten something up right and the guy came back telling me it was a seal and would cost $200 to fix! I flipped out because it happened from them changing my oil he said he'd look again, went under my car for 15 minutes cleaned it up. Then told me "I cleaned it up and let it run but I don't see it leaking anymore, so I don't really know man". What a scam! I took it home and put cardboard under to see if it is leaking anymore and it's not! DO NOT GO HERE!!! read more

I love these guys. They are pretty fast and get the job done. I usually don't pay more than $25 out the door for an oil change. I also had a couple minor repairs done here. They get the job done fast and don't cost much so I use them often. read more

My car was running bad so I took it to Precision Tune Auto Care on Eglin Pkwy in Fort Walton. Beach. The guy told me it would be $800 to fix. When he was telling me the price he showed me the part that needed fixing so once he put the part back in my car I went to Auto zone. it ended up being a spark plug coil that cost me $69. Only had to loosen one screw to change it out. Precision Tune was more than happy to take me to the bank and try to rip me off. I wouldn't take my car there again to save my life. read more
