i bought two new tires in june. yesterday while driving to work one of them blew out as i was driving. please note, that there was no wear or tear on the treads. however upon looking at the blown out tire after the incident it was apparent to me that the tire was defective. but the manager at the tires plus in decatur on dekalb ind, goes into this thing that i didn't purchase road hazard protection. after listening to his b.s, i was livid, because i almost was killed on 85n when the tire blew out. it was clear to me that he was trying to distance themselves from any liability for selling me defective tires. i think and feel that he or the company could have been more sensitive to me and the life threatening ordeal i had just experienced. i want him and the owners of that company to place themselves in that situation, now imagine your kids or wife was in that vehicle and this had happened to you. i will never ever do business with them again, and i would never ever recommend that place of business to anyone!!! # my life matters, but maybe not at tires plus on dekalb ind... i am angry, i am hurt, i am saddened, and i am very disappointed at the way that they do business and the way they value their customers. or at least the way the de-valued me as if my life didnt matter.... please note i didnt even want a refund, just a new tire or the exchange of the two i purchased. better yet a peace of mind to at least know that the other tire i bought wasnt defective. in which they never even offered to look at. not a very good way to do business signed brian very disappointed wesley read more
