I went in yesterday to have my oil changed . Unfortunately it was pretty lousy experience. When I…read morepulled up there was one car ahead of me and there were 4 bays that I think had cars in all of them . I think it took around 10 minutes before I pulled in . The guy helping me tried to add on additional services like filters, a new battery ( this one is 2yrs old ) and flushing the radiator. I appreciated his pointing these things out after I showed him my car had failed inspection for an issue w/ a problem with #4 cylinder and some other things . I declined everything and just went with the oil changed and an additional $4 dollar charge to top off radiator fluid which I thought was part of the $117.00 charge. * no tires checked , no vacuuming, no windows cleaned - noted bc Jiffy Lube does this or at least they used to . Anyway .... The real problem was their card reader couldn't read my debt card. After numerous attempts, and 2 different ppl trying to help, I called my bank . I was on the phone with them for a while and they couldn't see any problem on their end . Unfortunately I didn't bring anything with me except my license and debt card and after what felt like an eternity I finally walked over to Home Depot and bought a lanyard and got cash back . I walked back over and the manager took my payment and she apologized and said they have problems with other cards too . If that's the case they really need to address it or at least let ppl know in advance, post it on their advertising maybe . Fortunately I was off yesterday otherwise I'd have been pissed wasting over an hour there. I think I'll stick with jiffy lube in the future .

I'm 72 years old and wanted him to check the car, so I could feel safe driving it. My major concern was a noise whenever I used the steering wheel. Even after paying a lot to my last mechanic last year to fix it. It ended up being nothing but a clamp that was the wrong size coming loose. They could have lied (like most places do) and charged me a lot. But they didn't. They did a few other repairs and my car hasn't run this great in years. Greg thank you for running a company that is trustworth, with excellent mechanics and very reasonably priced. Finally a place that I feel sure won't rip me off. I have a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe that wasn't too doing well in the scorching summer heat and sure enough, one day the battery dies. I gave it a quick jump, rode it around the block a few times, no problems. The next day? Dead again! Argh! I was able to get it towed using AAA and decided on Meineke. I am so glad I did. From the moment I picked up the phone and called their office, to the moment I picked up the keys and drove my car off the lot, Chris' friendly attitude kept me at ease. He took the car in, listened to my concerns, ran a diagnostic test to figure out the problem, worked on it right away and confirmed that the battery needed to be replaced. He also made sure to call and update me. I was so relieved; the service came just under $300 for a new battery, 2-year warranty, and service. Wow! Ready that same day. This review is in regard to services for the Maryland State safety inspection and specifically for…read moreelectronic cars. Simply put: Please find another location. I've had to inspect two cars in Maryland during my time living here and this experience was the worst. They don't value your time and the cost of simple repairs are ridiculous. The initial inspection was fine. They found two cosmetic issues with the car that I had to be fixed. Both on the exterior of the car. One, for example, was the rear wiper blade. So the car fails, which is understandable. If your vehicle happens to fail, please do your research and compare cost for ANY fixes. For example, my back windshield wiper failed because it "smudges a little". I found that debatable however I didn't push on the issue. They told me to replace it they would have to (1) order the part which would take a day or two to arrive, and (2) the cost was $25+. I found that same wiper blade at the local AutoZone for $12 right after I left. And for anyone with the front two windows tinted on their vehicle, for window tint removal, they charge $150 which is absurd and overpriced. As for respecting customers time, they do not. I called on Monday to verify that the inspector would be available on Tuesday morning to reinspect my vehicle. I was told he would be in and that my appointment would be at 8AM when they open. I arrive at 7:55 AM and check in for my appointment. Do you know that I sat in the waiting room for 40 minutes before they decided to tell me that the inspector would not be coming to work that day? I wasted 40 minutes of my time when I could have left and rescheduled. The reinspection was rescheduled for the following day, again at 8 AM. This time I called the front desk before arriving to ensure that the inspector was indeed at work. Not surprised, I was told the inspector was "on his way to work" and that he " lived very far." I digress... To reinspect two cosmetic changes on my car, I sat in the waiting room for over an hour. I had to go to the front desk to ask for status of my car before they finished 15 minutes later. I am thankful that my car successfully inspected. However, I would not return to this location.

Each time has been non-eventful. I'm a meticulous individual, and I am always afraid of being on the receiving end of rim damage when getting my tires changed but have never had an issue. I was apprehensive about having them change my Model S tires because you have to put the vehicle in "jack mode" from the touch screen to turn off the air suspension and you need to use "lifting pucks" to lift the car under the side rails. It's not complicated, you just have to know what you're doing. I honestly printed the instructions out - and gave them a copy - and went over the process with a mechanic before handing the car over and everything went great. I also brought my own lifting pucks just to be safe. I appreciated everybody listening to my concern, even though I'm sure they would have been fine. But, you know, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure! Good pricing, great people, I definitely recommend them.

I already had the part and the screws, and the team was happy to help. From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly and guided me right into the service bay. One thing that really impressed me was that you can watch the technicians working underneath your vehicle on a monitor the entire time. They also use service pits instead of lifting the car, so you simply drive in, they complete the work, and you drive right out. It made the whole process quick and convenient. The shop was clean, professional, and efficient. To top it all off, they installed my part free of charge. I was so appreciative of their kindness and excellent customer service that I happily left a tip. A special thank you to Walter, the assistant manager, for taking great care of me. I recently had service done at Marlboro Tire and Automotive twice. My first experience was good…read more During the last week of April they replaced the starter on my 2021 Kia Telluride, and everything seemed fine at the time. However, when I picked the vehicle up, I noticed an issue with my parking sensor that had never happened prior to the service. I made another appointment to have that checked out along with several other issues I already knew needed attention -- a wheel bearing, a check engine light, and a transmission issue. I dropped the car off on Sunday, May 17th. They called me Monday and explained that the parking sensor issue was unrelated to the starter replacement, which I accepted. They also said the transmission issue would need to be handled by the dealership. The check engine light turned out to be caused by the evap vent valve being disconnected from the evap canister, and they reconnected it. Total cost was $160. I stopped by a little after 3 PM to pay and pick up the keys, but told them I would return later that evening to actually take the vehicle home. When I came back at 9:55 PM, the first thing I noticed was that the vehicle was unlocked because the mirrors were folded out. On my Telluride, the mirrors automatically fold in when the car is locked. When I opened the door, the dashboard was lit up and the radio was on. Once I sat down, I realized the vehicle was actually still running. My car's drive information automatically resets if the vehicle has been off for four hours. The dash showed the vehicle had been running for 9 hours and 30 minutes, had been driven 16.7 miles, and was averaging 4.5 MPG. I took a picture at 9:58 PM. Honestly, I wasn't even angry at first -- I was more shocked than anything and was actually laughing about it when I told my wife. Mistakes happen. The problem came the next morning when I returned to let them know what happened and showed them the picture. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, they immediately denied it and insisted there must have been some kind of malfunction because they "could not have made that mistake." I initially spoke with the two women behind the counter, but then a man came out from the office and asked what I wanted. I told him I felt they should at least refund the $160 service charge or compensate me for the gas burned while my car sat idling all day. He refused both. We went back and forth for several minutes. I explained that up until that moment I had actually been happy with their service and thought I had found a repair shop I could continue using. I told him the issue wasn't the mistake itself -- it was the refusal to take responsibility for it. I also explained that if he had simply apologized and made some effort to make it right, I probably would have laughed about it later and continued bringing my vehicle there. Instead, I was treated as if I was making the whole thing up despite having photographic evidence. When I told him that my only remaining option was to leave an honest review online about my experience, he accused me of threatening him. I told him it wasn't a threat -- I simply intended to describe exactly what happened. To make matters even more frustrating, when I later attempted to leave a review on their website, I was required to enter my invoice number, last name, first name, invoice total, and service date to verify my visit. After entering all of the correct information directly from my invoice, I received an error message saying the information did not match their system records. I can't say for certain what caused that, but it certainly gave the impression that I was being prevented from leaving a review through their website. Again, mistakes happen. What matters is how a business responds when they do. Unfortunately, their response completely changed my opinion of this shop.

It was after hours, so I filled out an online drop off form and left my car and key outside the facility. Really convenient to be able to drop the car off during non business hours so that service can begin bright and early the next day. The next day, the staff called me with more information about my issue and a recommended set of repairs. I appreciate the honest advice and information that Christine provided, she helped me make a couple of decisions about the work to be completed to the car. The shop was able to order the parts I needed and install them within 2 days - appreciate the pretty quick service. The prices are fair and the staff was really friendly and helpful - would definitely bring my car here again for a service if needed. No wonder they've been in business for 30+ years.
