I called for help expecting reasonable roadside support. Instead, I was charged $450 just to remove one tire and install my spare, a service that typically costs $75-$150. There was no explanation or breakdown of this excessive charge. I was also asked to send payment through Venmo, which is unusual for a business transaction and raised additional concerns about the legitimacy and fairness of the billing. While the staff was polite, this situation clearly reflects predatory pricing practices, taking advantage of a customer in an urgent, vulnerable situation. Charging three to six times the standard rate for a basic service and requesting payment through a personal app is unacceptable.
