I'm not sure why this place has such a low rating. I went in yesterday to have a tire fixed for a slow leak, however, the tire could not be repaired and a new one had to be ordered. They ordered a new tire and also put my spare on as the new tire wouldn't be available until the next day. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. The next day I received a text stating my tire was in. Went in to have my tire changed and again was in and out in about 30 minutes. Tim was such a big help! read more

My windshield wipers quit working and after talking to the dealship who wanted over over $300 to replace the motor, I thought it may be a good idea to call around. Tire World was the first place I called. I spoke with Tim, who informed me it could be as simple as a screw holding the windshield wiper arm had come loose. I took my truck to Tire World and Tim personally looked at the issue and determined the issue was indeed as the screw and tightened it back down for me and didn't even charge a penny. I've been using Tire World in Smyrna 14 years. Tires, routine maintenance and mech problems. I have never had a problem or bad experience. I normally make arrangements ahead of time and drop my vehicle the night before then pick it up when it's finished. read more

Don't do it. I made an appointment online on Tuesday for the following Saturday. My thought process was that I'd make the appointment so they could have the tires I wanted in stock and a scheduled appointment. I received a confirmation email with an exact quote which was really nice! Well, I get to the shop (40 minutes from my house) a little early and go to check in only to be told that they don't take appointments for Saturday AND they don't carry the tires I reserved and couldn't get them for a few days. They could offer me a much more expensive tire that they do stock. No thanks. I grew up going to Tire World in the old location, but I'll never be back and will strongly encourage anyone I talk to to avoid it as well. read more

I was on the highway when i got a flat. I called few near places to where I was which including Tire World and no one was picking up the phone. Tow truck took me to the nearest tire shop which it was Tire World. I was in line for a while when a white male came in just walked around whitout standing in line and went directly to the manager as he knew him, told him what he needed and got service but when finally was my turn they said they were busy and I should of called first and they couldn't help me until tomorrow or day after. I couldnt drive my car so i was stuck there and they didnt care. Didnt even make the effort to see if he had a tire in stock or how long to order, he just dismissed me. First time, Really bad experience, i spent 2 hours waiting on my tire to get replaced and waited a whole Weekend to received a phone call by Monday so i could bring my car but finally found another place All the way in Brentwood. Which is 44 min from where i live. After all , mission accomplished !! read more

**Yelp keeps putting that I'm from California, I am from and live in Smyrna TN.** I bought some tires from Tire World in Smyrna and the weights flew off. I made an appointment to get re balanced and after a 45 minutes wait I had to leave to be somewhere else (that's why I made an appointment). I filled out a contact request on their website, it's been 4 days and haven't heard anything. The re balancing they say is free so that's probably why they don't want to do it. I think it's a safety issue, apparently they don't. read more

SCAMMERS!!!!! Nothing but a horrible experience at the Lavergne, TN location. Fiancé who is a loyal customer to this business (usually Murfreesboro location) took his truck in for an oil change (Lavergne location) and asked if they would check truck out because he was about to take a road trip out of town. Mechanic completed oil change and based off thorough inspection of vehicle, recommended all new tires for $1500 especially since he would be traveling. (Note: Prior to taking truck in for oil change there were no other suspected problems no noises, nothing) with that said, we get out of town and we start to hear a noise coming from rear of truck couldn't really tell what issue was. Called TireWorld back to ask what might be the issue, truck wasn't making this noise prior to bringing it in. They say it may be related to oil change and something possibly being loose. Get back in town and take truck back to TireWorld and now there saying "oh by the way you need back brakes and that'll be $700".....WTF...brakes were never mentioned not one time during there inspection or in there recommendations. I feel Our safety was neglected. He would have chosen brakes over tires any day if he had to choose. The tires were recommended but not necessarily priority. My fiancé takes pride in his truck and takes care of it as should. If they recommend it he's getting it done. It makes you question if TireWorld is all about quantity or quality? Not an honest place!!! Not sure what has happened over the last 20 yrs but this location in Smyrna has gone from great to NEVER NEVER again! Just beware they lie and cheat. Since most people want to trust their mechanic and this doesn't happen here. They are not even honest with a simple tire repair. read more

I am not one to complain but feel i should share my experience. Had two bad experiences in the last couple of months and have decided Tire World is not for me. Spent over $1000 and still don't have the issue with my van fixed. I was told they don't troubleshoot everything and even though they drove my car to see if it drove good they missed the terrible shaking in the steering wheel when you break. I feel like I got suckered into a lot of work that didn't fix the issue. read more

My most recent visit was to get my tires rotated (I bought my tires there, so I get free rotations now). I went on a Saturday, and barely got in before they closed. No sooner had I sat down, pulled my phone out, and began mindlessly surfing the web than they popped back in to the lobby to let me know the car was ready. In and out in right around 5 minutes. CRAZY! I even thought that perhaps they hadn't actually done the work, but I checked my tires and they had been rotated. Based on that experience, they would garner a 5 star rating. However, I've used Tire World for a long while now, and this was an exception. Usually, I'm waiting for a longer period on Saturday mornings, and my car typically smells of smoke afterwards. Not this time, and it usually dissipates quickly, but I'm prepared for it. Tire World has been a good place for me to get basic work done. They certainly know their tires. Not sure if I'd trust them to work on anything that doesn't touch the ground. Just my two cents! read more

Stay away from salesman "Craig" he will tell you they can do it...but then you find out they cannot!! Had him order leveling struts, said they would be in-stock in two days...well that took over 1.5 weeks and thy still don't have them. Never did get them in, I had to call every time to see whats going on. Maybe good with just tires...but anything else good luck. read more

Excellent! I don't normally leave reviews, but I was extremely satisfied by the service I received. They did a great job and never tried to sell me anything else, or tell me I had a problem that did not exist, that has happened to me multiple times at other shops, so I'm always weary. I've been a customer for a long time, primarily because I can trust them... I have several cars including older cars and sports cars, and I know I can count on them to take care of what I own, even when I'm not in town and my wife or daughter brings something in. The guys will take the time to find a hard to find tire size, a custom part, or whatever I need. As long as this continues, I will remain a customer. read more
