I showed up in the morning at 8:30am to the store to see if I could get a tire patched. They told me they were very busy and that I had to drop off my vehicle which was not a problem. I had a screw stuck in the tire and they said if it was too big they would call me and let me know if they could either patch it or if I needed a new tire. I was out with family all day busy with plans that had already been made but I never received a call or update or anything. I had to cancel my evening plans and come to pickup my truck before 5 only for me to get here to the store at 4:30 and then tell me that I need a new tire and that they have to order the tire and they can't service it until Monday. The store is very inconsiderate of the customers time all they had to do was call me and let me know what was going on and they didn't. Now my whole weekend is ruined and I have to pay extra money for transportation services for all day Sunday and Monday . If this is how the workers are going to be, lazy and not thorough with their job then I don't recommend coming here unless you want to be inconvenienced with your personal life. read more

I have been an avid customer for Discount Tire for over 10 years. With any change in season, my low tire sensor will go off. My passenger side rear tire was low when I arrived on Thursday afternoon. While the tires were getting filled, I mentioned the low pressure issue to the tech and asked if I had something in that tire. The tech said the air should solve the problem but he did not look at my tire. Fast forward to today, my tire pressure dropped 17lbs in the rear passenger tire and I am once again at Discount Tire. When I asked about something in my tire, a new tech looked at the tire this time and discovered a screw in the passenger rear tire. The tech I talked to today asked why the tech from yesterday didn't check the tire. Good question. I got here at 12:45. I was checked in at 1:05. To my surprise, I received a text update stating I wouldn't be seen until 2:50-3:15-something not mentioned when I checked in. My car was not taken back until 3:30. I did not leave until Had the first tech looked at the tire yesterday, I wouldn't have spent 3.5 hours waiting to be seen today. I understand businesses are busy but its a tire plug. I've experienced solid customer service for years at Discount Tire, a disappointing visit on top of 3.5 hours I didn't have to waste during a workday, will have me shopping elsewhere. read more

We have been a customer for several years. We have a fifth wheel that needed new tires when we arrived at the tire store it was really busy and they were doing some remodeling so finding somewhere to park the fifth wheel wasn't easy but we succeeded. We were met quickly and were told it could awhile because they were busy. We also had a tire on our truck that needed to be changed because of some road damage. We had purchased the road hazard certificate when we purchased the truck tires from Discount Tire. The new tire only cost us 46 dollars which was great. I have bought most of my tires on all cars here. Service is pretty good prices are fair. My problem is that every time I buy tires they try to slip one of their BS warrantees onto the bill. $20 per tire. They used to ask me, I would always say no. The last couple of times they just slip it onto the bill. I don't see it until I get home. Have to make another trip to get it taken off. Just went to replace tire with sidewalk damage. It's a very busy place. I've bought tires for my nephew here. I've replaced tire for my brother. But it's always expensive. I spoke with a gentleman about my tire. He said they only had 1 tire type in stock. $319.00 for 1 tire Michelin. Walmart has Goodyear same size $140.00. They stated that they match prices. I looked on my phone and the tire was 159$-$272. I left. Went to walmart. Had great service and road hazard that replaces tire of side wall is damaged. Sometimes you just have to draw the line. I suppose that the service advisor could of suggested a cheaper tire and order it for me but it was pretty much either take it or leave it. I made an appointment online, showed up early, was seen early, had my tire looked at by an incredibly considerate tech named Bryson. My tire was fixed, and I was in and out in less than 30 min, and my bill was zero dollars. Every person I encountered during my visit was kind and pleasant. March 25 2021. I just left from there after waiting 2 hours for an alignment, I explain to the nice young lady that my VDC light came on after getting new tire from them yesterday. She kindly noted it on the work order and told the technician, however when my car was finally finished I asked about it the other asked the manager, shop manager or owner who ever the hell he is, said that they didn't look at it and said didn't have time for it and was completely a rude ass I should have punched him in the face.. I purchased 6 new tires for my dually last March. The pressure on the tires has never been right and I have had the people at the Smyrna Discount Tire work on it at least 3-4 times. Today going home I had the inner tire on the dually on the drivers side go flat. I stopped at discount tire and showed the technician that the tire was flat and he agreed and made note of it. I left it at there location because I was number 14 to have the flat addressed. I received a text saying that it was fixed. When I picked up the truck, a person in the office said it was a value stem leaking, but was fixed. I might note that when I spent over $2,144 for tires, they never replaced "any" of the tire stems. On the way home I was waiting for the tire monitor to show pressure on the inner tire but never rose over 1 pound, however the outer tire had an increase pressure to 89 pounds. When I got home, the inner tire was still flat. Stay away from Discount Tire. I have used them for the past 30 years, but this is the worst. BTW, there should be a way of giving zero stars. read more

Our latest experience was this past weekend, my son's tire pressure was low so we it took it in 15 mins after close, and they still added air and inspected and found a nail in the tire. Brought it back the next day and it was patched for free! It's true, if they can fill the hole, they will do it for FREE. Staff are all courteous and professional.
