I was driving to a birthday party while on Route 290 on a Saturday afternoon. Some debris on the highway unexpectedly blew out one of my tires. AAA put the spare on my car but I was far from home and had a lot of driving to do over the weekend so the spare donut tire which is only good for 50 miles wasn't going to be helpful and I needed a replacement tire quickly. Tire Warehouse was nearby and was still open on Saturday afternoon. They were very friendly and helpful and were able to get my tire replaced on short notice shortly before they were closing on Saturday afternoon. The service was also quick and the price was fair. I'd highly recommend and they really helped me out when I was in a bit of a bind. read more

I made an 8am appointment for this morning to have new tires put on my car. When I got there just before 8, there were people milling around but not going inside, including the staff. Apparently the manager decided not to come in today and they told me to come back later. I went directly to their competitors and without an appointment I was helped. I guess it's never a good sign when you hear an employee sigh, "Oh great", as a customer walks in. But when you have a flat tire, sometimes you don't have a choice. The guy who took care of me at the desk was nice. But $20 to patch a small hole? I've never heard of that before. For the record I have attempted to get tires from this location, the first time was a few months back and was told that I needed 4 tires due to being all wheel drive but only had two of the falken tires I wanted but had in stock the more expensive goodyears. Strike 1, went back in December and was told I needed a reservation and would be on a first come first serve basis if I came in the next day, and they didn't have my fallen tires in stock just the over priced good years. Strike 2. So I arrive today, reservation made three days ago, tires picked out based off the correct info I put in, BF Goodrich at a quoted price of 711.30. I entered the building made sure I was all set, the price they gave me was higher ( snuck on warranty service charge) cleared that up and handed them my keys. 40 minutes later I'm told the tires I ordered don't come in the size I have on my car. And yes the only tire they had in stock was the overpriced goodyears as my only option because of the special kind of tire I have on my SUV. This is strike 3. I think I've been more than fair here on my comments and recommend you avoid this place all together since it's obvious they can't communicate before you come in that the tire doesn't come in my size, don't carry anything affordable in stock it seems, and all in all the service is less than stellar. I went to originally buy one tire. They made me buy for because my car was all wheel drive. I spend $500 and was the first one there in the morning with an appointment. They proceed to make me wait two and a half hours. I also found cigarette butts all over my car seat and when I take the car out on the highway it's shaking. I come back to get it balanced which they didn't do to begin with and the next day it's shaking again. Awful service. read more

I wouldn't even give them a star if it was a option. I went down to tire warehouse to get my tire patched. Mind you the tire is not even on my truck.So the kid says $30. I said ok he goes over in the tire room and comes out with the tire all fixed. So I thought. I take it out of my truck and go to put it on. It's flat. I bring the tire back and show him its flat. Another guy takes it into the tire room and starts checking it he finds a puncture hole in the sidewall. It can't be fixed. So l ask the fist kid what did you do for the $30 I paid. He gives me a bullshit excuse and says I put a seal on my valve stem. So I leave and go by 2 new tire online. I go back to hopefully get some of my $ worth out of them. I ask for the kid he's not there that day so I ask how much to put 2 tires on the rims they say $50 so i go down to the bank to get the $ when I get back I told them I wanted to have th changed. The manager ask me what size are the rims I tell him 22" he says now it's going to be $70 . They are Shit Baggs. The first kid pretty much stole my $30. Then the manager ups the price because he knows the rims are expensive. It takes the same amount of work to put any size tire on a rim. DONT GO THERE read more

Just recently bought 3 new tires here. Went to get my car inspected and I got rejected because tire warehouse installed a defective tire on my car. The guy inspecting my car said they should give me a new tire for free but no... had to pay for a brand new tire! They put my safety in jeopardy. read more

The customer relations would be just above supremacy . Steve is very customer oriented and has outstanding knowledge within the tire industry. Obvious experience and makes an unsure and overly cautious person feel at ease. He is not pushy and assists your needs and allows you to make your own choices. A very good guy. The prices are great and the choices are good. I had no hand prints or grease left behind and noted after the tire techs told Steve my truck was ready, he checked the work and after he checked I was told it was ready for me. I will always return to this store if upper management can keep this type of front line high quality personnel in this store. read more

I had a flat tire, called TW next morning with size, make,model, etc. I was told they had the tire and even some other options. I paid $130 for a tow and when I arrived Chris told me that they had nothing in stock and even made it sound like it was my fault. He said I needed ALL tires replaced and would not even work with me on a another solution. My tow driver, Edwin stepped up and told another TW employee, John what happened and he came up with a reasonable solution and apologized for the mishap. DO NOT GO HERE. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am not someone who typically writes reviews, but after the way I was treated I feel as though this is necessary to share- I brought my car to Tire Warehouse to get a flat fixed. It took them 4 days to get the car back to me. When driving the car home, it began to shake vigorously. I called the next morning to see if they could check to make sure the tire was balanced correctly. They talked to me like I was a huge inconvenience to THEM and said they wouldn't be able to check it till Saturday, 4 days later, even though they had just worked on the car! When I told the man I did not feel safe driving my vehicle and I would appreciate him squeezing me in he said "it is not a safety concern. You can wait like everyone else." I have never had a business talk to me in such a rude and degrading way. They did absolutely nothing to apologize for their error. I did not feel comfortable bringing my car back to this establishment after the way I was spoken to on the phone. I brought my car elsewhere and turns out it wasn't balanced! Awful customer service. I scheduled an appointment online to have a flat tire replaced. When I got there I ended up needing to replace the rim as well. They ordered the part for me. It came in three days sooner than expected, and when I went to have it put on, they had already put the tire on the rim so the process took hardly any time at all. DO NOT GO HERE!! GO TO TOWN FAIR TIRES INSTEAD!! I got a flat tire near this Tire Warehouse location, they put on new tires, but after a few weeks my car was driving very bumpy. My subaru dealership drove the car and felt the tires weren't balanced properly. This store claimed it was my fault, I must have hit a bump in the road, and was charging almost $100 to have the tires re-balanced. I instead went to Town Fair Tires, who charged $30 and commented on the very faulty mounting of the tires, the weights were not put on correctly. Tire warehouse employees were rude, whereas Town Fair Tires had great customer service, competent staff, a more attractive location, and better warranty policy. Wish I had purchased the tires from them in the first place, there is a reason Tire Warehouse had the cheapest prices! read more

Do not go to this place for tires unless you want to deal with horrible customer service as well as the job not being done right. I had the tire warehouse on Grove Street recommended to me by another tire dealer who ran out of tires that fit my car. My girlfriend warned me not to go there because she had a previous negative experience. When I arrived I noticed two gentleman sitting in chairs both who looked liked they did not want to be there. I said hello to them and I was greeted with a couple of head nods. I went inside and notified the gentleman working at the desk that I was looking for four all season tires. He notified me that the price for four would include balancing the tires. It was a good deal so I decided to go with it. The next morning I drove it to work and the TPMS light came on in my car. I brought it back to the tire warehouse and I was told that one of my sensors had went on my car and they could fix it for $60. Mind you that my car is practically brand new and I never had this problem before these tires were put on. My car was also not driving very smoothly at all. Once I got over 65mph it would shake which is an indication that the tires were not balanced correctly. I decided not to have them fix the sensor. A few days later my low tire pressure sensor light came on. I brought it back again to have them recheck the balance of the tires as I explained that my car was rattling when I drove it above 65mph. I was told that none of these weird coincidences were their fault and it could have to do with sensors and alignment issues which according to them are common on newer model cars LOL. They told me they re balanced the tires for me again and then brought out my sensor which according to them was destroyed and causing my car to rattle when driving. Every question I asked of the employees seemed to upset them and they never took blame for any of the problems my car was experiencing. This place is shady and I would not recommend going to any of the Tire Warehouse locations. read more

The only reason to give even one star is that eventually I was able to get tires that worked. I took my car in to have four new tires put on. Never once did the manager ask me about any services are any additional components. When I picked the car up it seems to drive fine until I got on the highway and then it shook like it was going to fall apart. Which is concerning because this is a relatively new car. I called the store and explained what was happening in the manager, the same person whom I bought the tires from said I should bring the car back and they will take a look at it. I asked if he could look in the area I was traveling and see if one of the other stores could help me and he said no. He was absolutely useless. When I did have the tires looked at not a single one of the four was properly balanced. Just a horrible experience and when I went in and showed them the report from their other store, he was nonplussed. read more

I originally purchased winter tires from TireWarehouse, along with the road hazard and flat tire repair, from the Grafton street location. At that time I had asked the store manager to bag the seasonal tires and place them in my back seat and trunk. That morning, I had just come off night shift and was extremely tired, I didn't notice until I arrived home an hour later, that my tires weren't at the backseat or trunk. I called the manager, and after speaking with him he blamed a new worker and informed me that my tires were picked up for recycling, but he mentioned he was willing to give me $50 off my next purchase. I rejected the offer, and sadly took the loss. Two day's later I experienced a continuous low tire pressure signal, I decided to take my car to my dealership's service department and they quickly informed me my tires were never balanced. Once again the manger at TireWarehouse informed me he was willing to offer me a gift certificate for $75, and then asked me why I didn't return to his store, when I received the low tire pressure signal. A year later, the Grafton store location was closed and I decided to have a nail stuck in my tire fixed at the Grove Street, location. Unfortunately, that day I was informed by a Tirewarehouse employee, that they couldn't locate the road hazard or flat tire repair on there system files. So I had to return home, after paying $50 for the fix and inspections on my tires and I returned with the original receipt. I was told that I would receive a check in the mail a few days later.. A day later I was experiencing a continuous low tire pressure signal again, I had a friend who is a mechanic, overlook the tires and he found two additional wear and tears, which was not found at the initial inspection a day before. I would just like to add, that while the Tirewarehouse employees were performing a tire inspection and fix at the Grove Street location, two of the same employees were also arguing, with each other. read more

This place is the worst.I brought my car to get snow tires put on and while was waiting in the waiting area.They broke my axel on my front passenger side.I drove my car into that place and it had no issues or sounds.after they put my tires on I drove off and immediately I noticed a funny sound on my cars front passenger side.I turned around told the manager my car was making a funny noise.he told me it was because I got studs in my tires and that was the reason for the sound.I found out a few weeks later that sound was because my axel was broken.they cost me a hundred and forty dollars parts and labor.If you need to get tires put on or to buy tires.DONT! GO! HERE!!!.THEY ARE THE WORST!! I could have gotten killed driving my car with a broken axel.All because of this place.Tire Warehouse I want my 140 dollars.I will tell a hundred people and hope each individual from that hundred tell a hundred more people not to go to this place;( they are bad business.The employee's look like they just got out of the slammer.plus they got attitudes like the customers are a problem.if you dont like your job get a different job.Stop taking it out on the customers and their cars.A broken axel?I wonder how that happens at a tire place???feel free to give me an explanation wtf!! read more

When I went in looking for snow tires, the man behind the desk denied the existence of any snow tires, telling me that they do not sell them during the winter. He then tried to sell me an all season tire, but after realizing that I wasn't going to buy brought out the snow tires. If you like jumping through hoops for service, you'll love it here. read more

I always had a great experience with Tire Warehouse until today... never again! I have been loyal to them for years but not anymore. I brought in a printout from tirerack for a run flat tire I needed. I was asking them to meet the price and I would purchase the insurance and installation. I spoke to Dave who gave me a price of $290 installed, which seemed so low I questioned him on it since Tire Rack had a price of $344. He said to call back the next day and speak to him or his manager Mike. When I called back he took my info, called me about an hour later and the price jumped to $500 installed. When I asked about the price he gave yesterday he said that was a mistake, put the phone down and complained to his manager Mike that I wanted a price match. Mike then picked up the phone and was incredibly rude, insisted that he wouldn't price match because they had to order the tire. I wasn't asking to pay the initial $290 I was quoted, just the Tire Rack price plus installation and warranty. I remained calm and wasn't irate while the manager's attitude got even worse. I politely asked for the district manager's contact info and after asking a second time he hung up on me. I did place a call into corporate to get in touch with the district manager, regardless of the outcome I will never go back to the Worcester location again. I own a small business that was awarded Best of Boston by Boston magazine and maintains an exceptional online reputation. I also had a 12 year career in retail management and if anyone ever put forth that type of horrific attitude expressed by Mike in the Worcester store they would be fired on the spot. read more

Both times I arrived for my appointment and was informed that they did not have my tires. One of the orders was placed in person at the counter and the other order was placed online. Steve here is awesome. Great service, friendly and honest. Came in with one flat and one short of air, they inspected both and found that it was corrosion/beads around the rim on both. Went here to get a new tire which was a good deal for an A line tire but they put me at high risk . According to the tow truck driver my rim had been bent to much from hitting a curb where it was unsafe to put a new tire on it .the idiot repair man put it on anyway and I could have been seriously hurt or hurt someone else . The tire had came complelty off my rim and the manager acted like I hit something to cause this ! Which is total crap . I had the tire on my car for only five days and I did nothing to cause this . These workers are sexist assholes and treat women with zero respect . I cannot believe that they are people who treat women this low and treat me like I'm so idiot . I asked them to order 2 new tires of the brand I already had on 2 of my tires so that 4 would match and to take off the 2 oldest tires of another brand. I thought everything was fine after it was done. Several months later I did not yet have enough miles added on to warrant a rotation but decided to check my tires to see when they were made. Lo and behold, I had on 3 of the brand that I had ordered and one of the old worn ones of a different brand. I went down to the place and talked with Mike , the manager , who said he did not know how that could have happened but he would order me another tire as the other one must have been discarded. I accepted this as I know mistakes can happen and he seemed to be taking responsibility for their error. When I went back for the new tire another person was at the desk and told me that they could not honor that promise, was making excuses as to what had happened such as the workers must have seen that one of the 2 better tires was bad so they took it off and discarded it and left on the other brand. This was totally false as the ones I was matching were almost new and the ones I was taking off were down to almost where they would have been unsafe. He also asked to check the spare in my trunk as I had told Mike originally when he asked that I had a donut , not a full spare. This man was almost rude about the way he was handling things and I got the feeling that he thought I had been lying about the type of spare I have - which is a donut. I then asked to speak with Mike the manager who comes across as nicer than his employee but really is not. He continued to say that he could not honor his agreement but that he would either find me a used tire of the brand that they were originally supposed to put on or sell me a tire at cost which was $90. At that point I felt as if I had to do something did not want someone else's old tire and did not want the old junky tire I already had on so I told him to put it on and I would pay him $75 and he agreed. I then contacted customer service at main headquarters and talked with them twice and finally got a call from a very nice gentleman. I explained the whole situation to him and they credited my card for the $75 I paid for that last tire. At least they seemed to honor customer service. Now they have to do something about the people at Grove St in Worcester, MA who sully their reputation. I will never go back and have asked my daughter and son-in-law not to either. They have bought tires there and my son-in -law did tell me that there is someone who works there who is very rude. Now they have lost customers for 3 vehicles and I will tell anyone who talks about tires my story. On the other hand had they admitted their mistake and honored their agreement I would have been the first one to write a positive review. read more
