I've used Tire Kingdom in Seminole several times for tires and rotations, and for that service they do a fine job. Unfortunately, anything beyond tires is a different story. About a month ago, I asked them to do an oil change while rotating my tires. They called to say I needed a new belt, and since the old one was clearly worn, I agreed. Immediately after they installed the new belt, my car developed a constant squealing noise. When I brought it back, one of the techs insisted it could not possibly be the belt, since "new belts don't make noise." They then told me I needed a new belt tensioner and charged me about $270 for parts and labor. The next day, the squealing was still there. I went back yet again, and one of the shop guys rubbed chalk on the belt -- and the squealing immediately stopped. That proved the issue was with the belt they installed, not the tensioner. I asked the manager for at least a refund of the labor I paid for the unnecessary tensioner replacement, but he refused. His reasoning? "If you go to a doctor and they don't fix you on the first visit, you don't get a refund." I explained that this was a terrible comparison -- if a doctor replaced a knee I didn't need, that would be a lawsuit, not just a "try again." He stood firm and said the only way he'd refund was to uninstall the new part and reinstall the old one, wasting everyone's time and leaving me without my car for another day. In the end, I left things as they were -- a new part I didn't need, labor I paid for unnecessarily, and a belt that still squeals. Tire Kingdom has lost my business permanently. Bottom line: if you just need tires or rotations, they'll do the job. But if you need real mechanical work, take your vehicle to a trusted local mechanic -- not a chain shop that won't take responsibility when their own diagnosis and work don't solve the problem. read more

BEWARE!! Was quoted $506 plus tax for two tires and an alignment and told that my $25 deposit would come off of that. When I went to pay my bill, they tacked on an extra $49 with no explanation and refused to take it off. I spoke with Cody and he told me "thats just how it is and thats just what it costs" and that the "call center tells people wrong things". This place is a total rip off. Then I got to my car and it was running. They had called me over an hour prior to me picking up so my car was left on that entire time. Save yourself and your vehicle. I have had to visit this location 3 times since I moved to the area a couple years ago and have continued to receive good honest service., and they always try and find coupons and discounts when they can. Recently Skyler was able to help me get a tire patched quickly and did it on the house to get me to work on time. Not honest. Requested a price quote for an oil change the day before my appointment. Told the service man my appointment time & type of vehicle. Quote was for $89.99. Bill was more than quoted and I was told that was due to the fact that my car needed more oil. Bait & Switch tactic. They knew my type of car needed more oil when I requested the quote the day before but, did not quote the additional cost. Also, performing additional inspections without previous knowledge. I had no idea they were in my glovebox checking air cabin filter. If I had known I would have informed them that I personally changed it recently. Let's face it: car repair is not cheap. I took my Nissan Rogue to the dealer, and they came up with $6000 of "necessary" repairs, including a $300 (!) battery. Tire Kingdom got that down to $3000 by removing the spurious crap the dealer wanted to replace (including the battery, which is absolutely fine). Tire Kingdom was courteous, quick, they kept me informed, and they didn't try to charge me for the minor things they threw in while they were under the hood (like reattaching the splash guard and fixing a weird turn signal problem). read more

Michelin resolved the issue to 100% my satisfaction and I replaced all four tires. Paid $250 Didn't fix problem at all Went down the road and found out I have zero leaks. Never needed a refill. Had an actuator door issue. They fixed it for $60 Tire kingdom charged me $250 and their next move was to open my dash up and replace my evaporator for like $1500 don't trust this place. These guys are awesome. Had 2 faulty valve stems they were able to replace right away for cheap. A few months later I made an appt for an alignment at another place because it was closer, got there and they jerked me around so I left and called Tire Kingdom, they said bring it on down right now. Took them maybe 30-45 minutes when the other place told me 3-4 hours minimum and refused to do it, and Tire Kingdom went above and beyond on my alignment with a special request I had. Do yourself a favor & find some place more reliable & reputable for your automotive needs, unless you are determined to give your money to folks who are either dishonest or incompetent or a combination of both & who will, more likely than not, create more problems & issues than address & rectify them. On May 2nd, I entered Tire Kingdom due to my tire pressure sensor repeatedly lighting up even though it didn't appear as if I was losing air. A Sales Associate by the name of Bill House* stated that he couldn't even bother examining my tires due to the fact that "they were from all the way back in 2015" & recommended that I purchase a set of 4 new tires, which I agreed to, as I had a long trip planned & felt it was better to be safe than sorry. Upon paying for my new tires after they were installed & getting set to drive home, I immediately noticed that the tire pressure sensor was still on & brought it to the Sales Associate's attention, whereby he stated that it would reset once I drove a few miles. From that day forward, for the next 3 months, my tire pressure sensor would still periodically light up as soon as I would drive between 20-30 highway miles, even though my BRAND NEW tires were not losing air. Needing an oil change & with a 10 hour drive to Alabama coming up, I decided to head back to Tire Kingdom yesterday (August 15th) to have them take care of the oil change & to rectify whatever the issue was with my tire pressure sensor. A Sales Associate by the name of Garrett Wilcox* informed me that one of my tire pressure sensors needed replacing, which I agreed to & a couple of hours & a couple of hundred dollars later, I drove away & headed over a few blocks to Pinch A Penny to pick up some pool supplies. Upon exiting Pinch A Penny, I attempted to engage my remote starter (which was in perfect working condition prior to my vehicle being in the care of the staff of Tire Kingdom) only to discover that it was disabled/rendered inoperable. When I immediately returned to Tire Kingdom & brought this to Garrett Wilcox's attention, he basically acted as if a device known as a "remote starter" was a complete foreign concept to him & then shrugged his shoulders & reacted as if I was speaking a language other than English. With a ton of errands still to run & no time to engage in a prolonged dispute, I left Tire Kingdom with the intention to fight on another day. Fast forward to this afternoon (August 16th)...........whilst driving on 275 South on my way to a doctor's appointment in Bradenton to have post surgical stitches in my hand removed, lo & behold...........MY TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR LIT UP ON MY DASH & STAYED ON FOR THE ENTIRE DRIVE. So, in conclusion, if you have ANY automotive needs whatsoever, do yourself a HUMONGOUS favor & just drive right past Tire Kingdom on Seminole Blvd & don't even consider wasting one second of your time or one cent of your money. *Names as per Tire Kingdom Final Bills - Invoices Update as of 08-18-22: I forgot to also mention that these wizards lost or stole the Winchester valve stem cap from my passenger side rear tire, because........of course they would. read more

Update: in response to Pat, called the number provided to discuss my experience. Spoke to someone who took a message. My call wasn't returned. . Took our vehicle in for a belt squeal. Paid nearly $550 for repairs. Left with a belt squeal. Then they replaced the belt and the noise was gone but we were out a lot more than a belt replacement. PatS. I see many bad reviews, Dave behind the counter was awesome, the mechanic that installed my 4 tires left grease inside and outside the car and i started driving and had to turn back to get my hub key that they forgot to put back, i asked the mechanic to please clean my hubs, he spent 5 seconds wiping down and just smudged the grease worse, Dave came out and cleaned them and i tipped him $20 for his service. read more

I visited there shop 2/26/19 at 5:36 pm after I blew a rear right brake line on my 2012 dodge grand caravan. They told me that I needed 1000$ dollars worth of stuff I did not need. They actually lied to my face and said without a new master cylinder and brake boster my brakes would not work. They did not want to sell me another sensor since the one that I already had was working, I appreciate that as a customer! Desk guy was dismissive, said short staffed. I asked him to call as soon as car was done. Retuned at 4:30; mechs said they were putting oil in. Went inside to get paperwork and payment done so I could leave. Sorry, I have to wait until the boys finish. I trust they did good work. My appointment was obviously ignored. If I could rate this place a negative I would, they do not even deserve 1 star. This place ruined my engine, literally. I took my car to get new tires and an oil change, pretty standard. When I left with my car after they had completed the job, my car shut down in the middle of the road and I had to have it towed back to this place. I then was told I would have to get a rental and PAY OUT OF POCKET for it. I was told I would be refunded but having to pay for a rental car when you did not plan to ends up being expensive, plus I am a student and under 25. The manager Brandon, who by the way is a pathetic excuse for a manager and should have lost his job for the way he handled this situation. Brandon lied and said they put a faulty oil filter in my car and that they would need some time to fix it. I called every day for a week and Brandon had the audacity to have an attitude with me because I am calling about my car that they messed up, not to mention I am still paying for a rental. One day I called, and I was told Brandon was off that day, I mean you have a crisis at your shop and you just take off. The person that answered the phone said he had no information for me and that I would have to wait and talk to Brandon. So, I called their corporate office because I was not getting anywhere with Brandon, it had now been a week and he still cannot tell me what was going on with my car. Corporate must of got in touch with Brandon because he called me and get this, he threw it in my face that he was calling me on his day off like WTH! So, he proceeds to tell me that my situation had been turned over to their insurance company and I now had to deal with them and that he was now out of it. Are you friggin kidding me? Well come to find out Brandon lied and what really happened was whoever changed my oil did not replace the oil and when I drove my car my engine seized and I now need a new engine. I mean replacing the oil engine when you change the oil is mechanics 101. It took 3 weeks to get a settlement from their insurance company, I had to pay for a rental which was a lot of money. Do you think Brandon 1 time called to apologize or to see how everything was going, nope never. He has to be the biggest POS of a manager I have ever encountered in all my life. They get you for everything! I purchased a new set of 4 tires for my 2015 Kia Sorento last fall. At the time, I was annoyed at the $123 in installation/labor and fees, which included new pressure sensors that I didn't even want but they REFUSED to allow me to decline. 5 thousand miles later and I picked up a 1/2 inch slice in the center of the tread on one of these tires. They claimed that it was not repairable and sold me a new tire at $107 for the tire plus another $31 in installation costs and fees. What I didn't even catch until reviewing my bill at home is that they got me for yet ANOTHER pressure sensor. THEY DID NOT EVEN HAVE TO TAKE THE WHEEL OFF THE CAR AND THEY WERE NOT PLANNING TO PUT IT BACK ON EITHER UNTIL I MADE AN ISSUE OF IT. THEN THEY DID IT FOR ME AS A "COURTESY." Went in for a tire rotation (first time here) was told my tires were in too bad of shape to rotate and I would need new tires (which I also already kind of knew but didn't want to hear). Brandon was super nice and gave me multiple options for tires in different cost ranges. I was able to take them home and figure out what I wanted to do. Called back later that day and was able to come back the following day for the tire instillation. Took a few hours for instillation but everyone there was very friendly and all wearing masks correctly. Brandon walked by at one point and immediately remembered my name and said hello which was nice. Their customer service was great and I'm glad I gave them my service. Stopped by the Seminole location a week+ (Thur., 9/21) early to obtain a quote for 4 new tires, 4 new 'Bluetooth' valve stems, and an alignment (roughly $2k worth of work). Before signing the paperwork, I asked how much time will the process take and I was told 2 hrs. Knowing that I couldn't give up my vehicle during the week I made a special request for an early Sat. (9/30 or 9 days out) morning appointment. Arrived Sat. morning on schedule (8 AM) and recapped the scope of work (4 new tires, 4 new valve stems, alignment, and placing two of my old tires in the bed of my truck) with the front office staff. At 9 AM my vehicle was still sitting in the customer parking lot. At 10 AM my vehicle was still sitting in the customer parking lot. At around 10:15 AM, my vehicle was taken into the shop and the tires were installed. At around 11:15 AM, my vehicle was returned to the parking lot (1.5 hrs). Finally, at around 1 PM, I spoke with the store manager informing him that I had been waiting 5.5 hours for a 2-hour (max) job to be completed. It was only after suggesting I would like to remove the cost of the front-end alignment from my bill (and basically take it somewhere else to have completed) that the store manager got involved. He went out into the shop and came back stating it would only be another 15 minutes (alignment 15 minutes?) before it would be ready to go. So, I finally ended up leaving the shop just shy of 6 hours (1:50). PLEASE NOTE: Time is one thing! But, what really pisses me off is that when I got home I noticed only 3 new valve stems were installed out of the four I paid for four. Yes, it's only $12 bucks but what added fuel to the fire is that my interior (steering wheel, console, floor mat, and shifter) were all covered with grease. I took my car in for an oil change and specifically told them not to rotate the tires at least 3 different times. They rotated them anyway. I know this because I have a tire that consistently loses 5psi per month that I check and fill. That tire was in the right rear. This month I checked and the right front is low by several psi. Beware of this repair shop. I was sitting in my parked car waiting for a friend of mine to find out when her car would be ready. While parked, the mechanic backed another customer's car into mine. The damage to my car was minor but the mechanic told everyone that I hit the other car. When I asked for us to look at video of the parking lot, they told me they did not have cameras at their business. I am now out several hours of time to deal with this. If they would lie about this and another mechanic would swear to it, then they would lie about your car repair needs. read more

They would not do the oil change. 03 expedition with 425k. Burns about 5 quarts a month. Tire kingdom was concerned with the engine. I run 150 miles a day with no problems. I know the engine had seen better days but I still roll through 5 counties every week. If the customer is ok with it and takes responsibility change the oil. I'm at another shop and they had no problem taking my money. read more

I had to order snow tires which is not found in Florida but the gentleman helping me (I forgot his name) but he was from New York and gave me some pointers. 9/1/2017 Hoped to get a decent priced oil change for my 2014 Focus, so I went on line and made an appointment. I go in with my coupon and realize it saves me 12cents, OK 19.99 + shop supplies still seems OK. Then the sales guy tells me my Focus has to have Synthetic Oil?????? (their Policy) Maybe for my Acura Turbo but not this Ford??? I said I don't think so and left. I looked it up on line. it takes conventional oil 5-w-20. I used to go to Sears Tyrone for oil and tires, alignments Etc. but, they are now closed. Worst tire change ever! I had researched tires for my 2011 F-150 and found the ones I wanted. The young man who actually did the work thought he was on a NASCAR pit crew. They did not line up the manufactures balance marks in relation to the valve stem. They said it wouldn't matter. I was watching the installer put the freshly mounted wheels back on, threading the nuts by hand to get them started and then he picked up his impact wrench and tried to go as fast as he could and he missed one and put a huge scratch in my very expensive chrome rims! I was in town for a business trip and at 9 o'clock at night I realized I had a flat tire. I drove it to tire Kingdom and Ubered it back to my hotel. I called tire Kingdom in the morning and let them know that I left my car there and that I had a flat tire. I dropped the keys off that morning and they fixed it within an hour and a half. When I came back for my car they handed me my keys and said you are good to go and when I asked them how much I owed them they said don't worry about it!
