Ok, I have been a customer since they opened. I have had one bad experience after another and I have always listened to the manager after I complained and he has giving my family excuse after excuse and so I give them another chance. BUT today was the absolute final straw. How are you a car repair place and not know how to start a car??? How can you not communicate with each other??? My husband dropped off the car yesterday 11/22/2020 and explained how to turn the push button start with the remote above the start button and still no one communicates to the team today 11/23/2020. Not to mention, why make appts. when you don't bother looking at a vehicle until after the client calls to get an update at 2 pm on 11/23/2020. Then ask me when i dropped the car off??? REALLY??? you don't look at the schedule on what cars have an appt??? This place is 100% lacking in communication, 100% lacking in business practices BUT not lacking in charging you an arm and a leg! This place is a 100% joke and me allowing my family to be duped and listen to their excuses time and time again are 100% at fault too! Not no more, the gloves are coming off. We got metal in our tire, we thought we got lucky , Tire Kingdom a block away, waited 30min. For it to open just to be told we would have to leave it just to patch a tire. We normally do all our tire buying at Tire Kingdom, but if they can't take time just to patch a customers tire. My family will not be using Tire Kingdom ever again. read more

If I could give them 0 stars i would. I was having problems with my car shaking so I took it in to get new tires. I was told i needed to get two new tires, and I did, and got an alignment as well. The tires got to the shop about a day later, so that was really fast. Putting the tires on took all day, more than 7 hours. I picked up the car right before they closed and left. As soon as i got on the highway the next day, the car was shaking more than ever. It was very scary. I was going 45 mph and the car was shaking a little, once i was at 60 mph on the highway the car was shaking severely. Because I had appointment, i couldn't come in the next day. Nonetheless, one day later the new tire popped on the highway when i was on my way to tire kingdom. I had my car towed to the nearest tire kingdom (not the same one). They fixed the flat and re did the alignment, they showed me how it was not aligned properly at the riverview location. WHen i took the car two days later to riverview, they said that the fact that the tire popped was not their fault. They didn't guarantee their tires, even if the tire popped a few hours later. However, the alignment was so bad that they still did it over at Riverview. All in all, i ended up taking my car to the dealer and getting an alignment (because i didn't trust tire kingdom anymore, and I had a feeling that the alignment was still not properly done). The dealer showed me how the alignment was very off (it was done three times in less than a week, btw) they fixed it and the difference was night and day. They didn't refund me for the alignment, they didn't want to give me another tire, and they were very rude throughout the process. Would not recommend this place to anyone. They care about money and they do not care about the customer at all. They rather have a one time customer than a lifelong customer. Please don't go here, the balance and alignment here was so bad , me and my infant daughter could have died. read more

have bought many a tire from tire kingdom, this location is the best of them.....fair pricing, quality work. they do have a tendency to run behind a lot.....like taking longer than what they say.....but who knows what they encounter on each job they start working on.....came in the other day to have a patch on my tire from an embedded screw...made an appt. for 12:30, was told it would take about 45 min to an hour....almost 2 hours later it was done, finally. the store was busy, the manager came out to speak with me, he told me that this job took way too long to do, so it was on the house! really great customer service! they recognized that they were running behind and instead of making excuses, they owned it. big thumbs up for store manager AL DIXON for being a customer service pro. read more

Second attempt to resolve: Again after several attempts to have some resolve in this matter. Tire Kingdom did reply to me after supplying them with all the documentation they requested and they stooped to requesting me to have someone lie by making a statement which they were not witnesses to nor familiar with this issue. As much as I would like to have my Mercedes Benz GL450 problem corrected, I refuse to provide false statements. The statement below was provided by the mechanic who worked on the car after 5 of Tire Kingdom's legged "Certified Technicians" at 2 locations (Gibsonton, FL and University Fowler Tampa, FL locations) did not properly inspect the front end prior to performing a wheel alignment to discover that my rack and pinon bushing were worn. They instead tried to align it 4 times with no success. Denied the report provided by the technician who replace the rack bushings, and is also familiar with the vehicles history, requested that I get another report from someone who was not familiar with this issue and unfamiliar with the repair. I again refuse to lose my integrity and perjure myself or have anyone else provide a false statement. Mechanic's statement below who did the repair that Tire Kingdom never discovered. And a clear statement that once the bushings were installed there was no noise of any kind coming from the vehicle whatsoever. Until Tire Kingdom made another attempt to perform a wheel alignment, which at this time caused damage. If this is not resolved immediately at this level, then a Civil Suit is to follow. I have used Tire Kingdom for many years have set them up to service our corporate account. The best place to start is with my disappointment in the knowledge and service of the 2 locations. I took my vehicle in for a wheel aliment and once completed and paid, first thing I noticed that my light tan interior of my GL450 had grease all over the door handle and the A pillar. Mechanic attempted to clean it with a greasy red cloth. I immediately stopped him before he got to the tan colored fabric portion. The manager did assist by sending me across the street to USF car wash on Fowler, they did a great job, (Great place, I used them many times) My problem was not yet resolved as my vehicle still has the same issue (vibration and a pull). On June 17 2019, I had gone to a Tire Kingdom near me (Gibsonton Dr.) to correct the issue the alignment and re-balanced my tires, twice (Now a total of 3 times) and still having the same problem. Only to find out that the mechanics did not do the proper pre-check. A shake down of the front end is always performed to determine that all suspension components are in good condition before performing a wheel alignment. After 3 wheel alignments they then discovered my rack n pinion mount bushings were bad. On Jun 20 2019, I went to Mercedes Benz of Tampa and purchased the parts, and had been installed by the dealer where I purchased the vehicle. I was a tremendous improvement. This is where it gets worse. I took it back to Tire Kingdom (big mistake on my part to trust their ability after not doing a proper shake down of the front end) I requested they do a proper alignment that I had paid for them to do. Gave them the key as I waited in the customer lounge area. On their alleged completion, and giving me the key to my vehicle, were I immediately notice a creaking sound coming from my right strut. I drove the car up the road and back thinking it will settle in. But it DID NOT! Went back to explain to them that since I owned this vehicle that I purchased at the end of this May 2019, I had not creaking or squeaking of my suspension. In addition, the mechanic that installed my rack mount bushings where I purchased my car test drove the car and no noise. I dove my car from the day I purchased it up until the moment I handed the key over to Tire Kingdom I had no creaking or squeaking. The moment I got into the car and drove 3 ft I notice a problem that was not there when I gave them my key. I came back the following day to address the issue. No room to continue my review. read more
