Came in 15 minutes before closing and the guys here were super helpful!! My tire pressure was at 20 and the near by gas station air pump was broken. I didn't even know if you could just pull up and asked to get your tires checked. But they helped me out and were so nice. Checked and filled all 4 of my tires for FREE! I've worked with David and Efraim in the past, at this location, this time I worked with efraim again and Javan - at Firestone they are always a pleasure to work with and they do the best they can to get you in and out, but sometimes it takes all day. Today I seen several customers upset while they were waiting, but everyone working was being polite and trying to accommodate the best they can. I hope more customers learn some patience and know their cars are not the only ones in the bays at Firestone. Today they had all bays full from the time I dropped off at 0830, to when I waited from 1500 (3pm)-1630 (430pm). My car did not have an appointment but they fit me in and everything was surprisingly covered under the warranty when I had my car looked at back in September 2024. I didn't have any service performed, because Firestone doesn't do used tire transfers to new wheels. I was in a car accident and needed old tires moved to new wheels due to some rim damage in the accident, Firestone was unable to perform this service because it's not in their books to do so. The associates, regardless of their inability to help, offered ample resources and assistance to me to get help at a neighboring location. They went above and beyond their work and did much more than what their company asks them to do. It was a genuine display of compassion, involvement, and care for my situation. I would give them 0 stars if it was possible. After getting a flat tire they replaced the donut on with a real tire and it felt wrong when driving away and lights were going off on the dash. Turned around to tell them and they said it's fine, just the car adjusting to the new tire and the lights will go off so I left. As I'm driving away the second time it's worse and the tire completely crunched up and ripped off the splash guard. Took it back again and they said there's nothing they can do and put the splash guard back on completely crunched up. No compensation, apology, or fix at all. read more

These guys are some of the most honest caring service guys I have ever met! All of my tire work is done here, and even some oil changes and other mechanical work. ALWAYS honest and above-board! There were times they could have taken advantage of me financially, but they gave me options and let me know what I can get by with. (AND offer. veteran discount!) I actually listened to one of the service techs this morning call a customer and tell him they would not be charging him for labor for removing the coil because they would have had to remove it anyways to get to the plugs (I think I have the right parts, just half listening). How many times has YOUR mechanic told you he would be charging you less? They pointed out things my insurance didn't catch which would have cost me down the road several thousand dollars when I was hit by another car. I have had a dealership doing my oil changes and was supposed to change my air filter, which they hadn't done (Firestone caught it as you can see from the pic!) Of course I got a second and a third opinion, came out they tried to sell me pieces for over 10x the value that they actually are. I went into this Firestone this afternoon looking to get an estimate for an oil pan on my car. The first young guy at the desk was very polite, courteous and professional. He had to refer me to another older gentleman with grey white hair who was out in the bay area with the cars being repaired. He was rude, unprofessional and actually seemed like it was a inconvenience for him to ACTUALLY do his job, He had a terrible attitude and said I am not going to wait on hold for 1/2 hour to get the price for your part. God forbid you do your job. Horrible service, attitude and highly unprofessional, I would advise going elsewhere if this is the type of employees they have He may have been the MGR or senior tech but he was 100% incompetent and absolute horrific customer service Take your car elsehwhere ! read more

Andrew is delightful! I came here because they were open late. I wasn't expecting much from a Firestone franchise except maybe a headache and high bill, but man I was wrong. They were extremely friendly and informative. My car was shaking after 60mph, they explained and even showed me how my tires are basically defective. I've had them less than a year and they are slightly deformed, causing the shaking. They checked my air, reset my check tire light, fixed my hubcap that Walmart misplaced. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE: I went in for a free courtesy brake inspection for my vehicle. I knew the brakes were getting worn, so I wanted to get prices from several sources. A few weeks earlier, after a routine oil change, I was given a quote from the Toyota dealership of $529.00 for a brake job. After two hours, a Firestone sales rep retuned with a price quote of $1275.02 for the entire brake job. The sales rep then went on to tell me the car is unsafe and the work needs done immediately. I told him that I wanted to check some more places and get the best rate. He then said, "okay...I'll match whatever you come up with." I thanked him and asked for my keys. That seemed to set him off. He told me to call around and see what I find out, then his technician can do the work after he matches what I find--as if I'm gonna call other shops from his lobby. I asked again for my keys at which he said my "car is already to have the work done, and it should be done now while it's ready." I flatly said, "no. I'm not paying $1200 until I look around." He reluctantly went to get my keys and to have the mechanic start putting my car back together, but not before he raised his voice (where the entire lobby could hear him speaking to me) and repeat how unsafe my car is to drive and so on. Very unprofessional. I eventually got my keys and left. Then I drove to the Brandon Courtesy Toyota dealership and asked if the previous quote I got was still valid. It was, they did the work for $440.75, thanks to an in-house special. They also said the calipers were fine, which was a huge chunk of the cost Firestone used to justify their quote. Amazing service!! While driving up the coast, we experienced a flat tire. I was excited to see we weren't far from a Firestone. We hobbled in on our donut, 20 minutes before close and received nothing less than perfect service. Everyone was polite, personable, and made us feel at ease. Everything was completed in about an hour and we were back on the road. We don't live in Florida, but I would gladly come here again for any service we need. This was a great location. I had a flat driving from Alabama to Tampa for work and luckily the quick fix with my Jeep worked. They guys at this Firestone were able to get the following approved on my company fleet vehicle, 4 new tires, alignment, and oil change. I was a drive up customer so I did have to wait but I was prepared for that. They did get all the work completed in about 2-1/2 hours and I was on the road back home. I gave 3 stars because it's not the shop, it's the quality of their tires. I've had my firestone tires for less than 9 months and have had to replace 2 of the 4 tires, and patch up 1 of 4. It's always something different. I never had such crappy tires. I would go with Goodyear if I were you. If you're going to pay over 500.00 for tires, get tires that will last. I had my Goodyear tires for a much longer time and never had these types of problems. Thank god I have the road hazard, but paying $30.00 for each replacement on top of the initial tire cost is a bit ridiculous. read more

The more I use these guys, the more I like them. I've used this shop for most of my car needs the past few years, and I've never had an issue. They call when they say they're going to call. They never get creative with the billing, they just do what you ask them to. If they find anything out of the ordinary they'll call you and ask you if you want it addressed. I've had break work done, tires rotated, alignments, and oil changes here, and never had an issue. Staff are friendly and get to you as quickly as they can. There's a TV in the waiting area, or you can walk over to Home Depot or Steak n' Shake. I'll be back. read more

Well a nightmare scenario happened while my family was visiting in Tampa. Our water pump failed and left the family stranded. After a nasty experience with local tow companies we were able to get the car to the shop. Even with an appointment I always have to wait HOURS just for an oil change. On top of that, the work is shoddy. Two times ago, they left the cover to my undercarriage hanging so it was dragging on the ground. A couple weeks ago I went for an oil change and they talked me into replacing two tires. I never should have. My tire pressure sensor warning came on. They said it would go off after driving it for a bit. WRONG. I just took it into Ford and the sensor is broken. Coincidence? Don't think so - they broke it while changing the tires. It's going to cost $120 dollars to fix. That's it, I'm done with Firestone! read more

Great customer service. We had a rather extensive repair to be made to our 2008 Subaru. It was not ready at the promised time because a part was defective out of the box. Worst experience! wasted a whole day there! people were very slow and weren't polite, considering I am a paying customer. I dropped my car off at 12pm and called around 2:30pm they said the car was next to be seen, I just wanted some brake pads, I decided to drive up there at 4:30pm to see how it was going, it was still sitting where I had left it, The front service guy tried to say "not every mechanic there knows how to do brakes." I was so angry that my car was nowhere near being done and had to be at work in a few hrs. so I told them to give me my keys. As i was leaving I called a place further up the road "Tires Choice" They gave me new brakes and everything in less than an HR and were very friendly. They are true salesman, and will say whatever suits the situation. David was quoting DOT laws to me incorrectly. He also back-peddled several times in his explanation of why I needed to spend more money; mostly when showing me the evidence. Tommy had the final say, and obviously thinks he is very funny. His poor attitude and terrible customer service left me feeling very uncomfortable, and demanding my vehicle back immediately. Tommy took delight in taking his time in having my vehicle returned, and also escalated the situation by making a punching gesture to a co-worker. In Tommy's many retorts he suggested I take my business to another store, and my inability to understand the situation was a result of my Florida education. Tommy also described me as a "sh$#ty person. He really seemed to take pleasure in taunting me, and even dared me to cross the line. This prompted me to cut my Firestone credit card in half. Sure, one may get lucky and receive good service, but why take a chance? read more

I must say that this was the best experience I have ever had; at an automotive repair shop. Matt, Agnes and Juan and mechanic "Drew" (Andrew...i think was his name) were beyond exceptional with their customer service skills. I had a problem with my starter for my Sorento and was short on time before having to run errands and be at work by 3pm...i arrived at 1150am and was done by no later than 125pm and on my way, meanwhile awaiting for part to arrive, everyone from customers to employees were in good spirits, maybe it was timing or kismet, but I will be bringing and referring others with any car issues to this store. Still amaze on how exceptional Matt was with his knowledge and honesty and Agnes was; for lack of a better word...PERFECT, welcoming and reassuring with a great smile and knowledge. I appreciate everyone there and again...I hope if I do have any more vehicle issues in the future, that these wonderful group of people will be there to assist. As a young woman I absolutely hate going to get work done on my car, because I always feel like they are trying to take advantage & fool me into buying more than I need. This is the first car place I've gone to that I feel comfortable at. They always listen to what I have to say about my car and explain everything without talking down to me. They always do a full courtesy check on the car, explain what they found and what they recommend I should do/replace. However, if I say no or tell them I want to wait a while before getting it done they never pressure me into it like some other places do. They made a mistake with my oil change, which caused my oil light to turn on the next day. When I brought my car back to have it corrected they fixed their mistake right away and then also told me my next oil change is on them. Came in for tires, they tried to tell me I needed to replace my lug nuts and that the lug nuts cost $340 dollars for a Ford Fusion.. They are crazy, they will try to rip you off. Also tried to charge an extra $15 dollars for labor to use other lug nuts that aren't from them. read more
