Adam you're a liar a thief and a bad person . Waste to society . Lied and told me my break pads could only be found at the dealership and knocked my price up hundreds of dollars , mind you I drive a KIA . I was in a bad state of mind and just needed repairs on my car so I could safety take myself places as a young independent woman , and ADAM took atvantage of that . Die slow Adam. read more

Snakes in the grass! Completely took advantage of my wife she just got her breaks done in February and they coaxed her to get mew ones. Thankfully she called me I reminded her they were done recently we took the car back to tire express to check the breaks they said they are at 90% jiffy Lube also showed my wife a fake picture of her breaks . These clowns are disgraceful and unethical upselling. Go to tire express. read more

Most aggressive up sellers I have ever seen. Won't take no for an answer. Looking to only get your oil changed? This isn't the place

Requested an oil change, received premier customer service! Trevor checked all my exterior car lights, along with my engine and ac system with efficiency. I was in and out in 30 minutes with an oil change/ clean for $85. Trevor and Trent were amazing! Thanks for the great service! read more

The manager "Joey" completely lied to me after his shop failed to complete the oil change service by actually adding oil. Idiots. He is trying to squirm his way out of responsibility. It is really disgusting to treat customers in this way. Just stay away from this outfit. I'd love to watch them go right out of business. I know I'm lucky I checked my engine because if you read Reddit, many car owners had their vehicle destroyed after jiffy lube (non) service. read more

Anything but jiffy, I was there over any an hour, waiting in 100+ heat. Tate and crew were friendly. Yes they do a lot of "up selling ". My recommendations 1 - plan on more than 10 min for the oil change 2 - DON'T go during lunch time, I got there at 1pm 3 - Do NOT go there when the heat index is 100+ degrees I probably won't go back there again- not bad but NOT great ! read more

Tate was really nice and helpful throughout this process. They all did a great job walking me through what my car needed.

Tate, and the team really took care of me and my car, I was able to complete my oil change within a few minutes, under a hour, and get work done as I waited in the car. He helped me reset, my maintenance light, and it was an overall wonderful experience, I would highly recommend Jiffy Lube to anyone looking for a quick oil change. On second thought, as I'm reading the reviews, I'm coming back to edit my review to comment that a lot of these negative experiences was not anything similar to what I experienced at Jiffy Lube today. There was several friendly men working there, air conditioning for my car as a weighted, and no deceptive sales techniques, I came for a conventional oil change, and I left with a conventional oil change plus disposal fee, as I expected. I would try it for yourself. read more

Misleading business, they will try to upsell you on things you don't need. Check your coolant before going here so they don't try to convince you it's low read more

very honest people, Great customer service, had my car all fixed up for me in no time, definitely coming back to these guys! :)

Shout out to Tate and his crew at the Valrico Florida Jiffy Lube on Bell Shoals. Awesome service, friendly and efficient staff, always a pleasure getting my car serviced here. Plus it's on my way home! Lol. read more

Quality service! Very friendly staff! Will be going back for oil changes! Quick service!

Stopped by for an oil change and expected a long wait. It's always a crap shoot at these places. Incredibly friendly staff, super fast oil change! They had 3 guys going at once, performing precision movements like a damn military drill team! All I could do is stand there and salute, as my eyes filled with tears of joy at the crisp cadence of this oil changing militia, feeling thankful for my freedom and this time saving Jiffy Lube station. Very happy with the service and will certainly be coming back for my next change. read more

My man Tate, the best manager of all times !! He has the best smile and the best service. I do definitively recommend this jiffy lube. Every single one of those people are friendly , quick and very respectful!!! My second time at this Jiffy Lube. This location is just "ok," and worth the 3 stars that it currently holds on Yelp. I needed to get an oil change done ASAP and came here because my last oil change was done so fast as there was almost no one else here waiting. The location is almost hidden, and you'll have to either know that it's here or pay attention to the road flag advertising that the words "BRAKES" on it; if you're driving too fast you'll likely past right by it! The prices are decent for what I came for oil change was $49.99 and spark plugs $34.99. No complaints here. Now the employees are consistently very nice, so I very much appreciate that, however- the-smell... ... the air in the little waiting area is so saturated with fumes and such- I mean it's really strong and I have a headache just thinking about it :-( No fault of the employees of course but just wish something could be done about it. Next thing observed was the waiting area- nothing to brag about here...small, dull, dated colored walls, with about 6 chairs to sit in; and let's once again not forget to strong "fumey" sent in the air. Again I came here for the speedy service which is what I got, and I really appreciate how nice the staff is- including the lady that's runs the front desk; she's very professional and does her job to a "T." Was giving them 3 stars but now I'm giving them 4 stars simply because of her! (change of heart lol) I'll be back to be serviced again! read more

Don't go here, the people who work there don't know how to change a battery. Got mine replaced and did $1000 worth of damages to my radio due to constant sparking of the terminals to my battery. read more

Tate the service manager lies to women in the store and pressures as hard as possible to sell more services. 100% lied to my wife on recommended services because he went off a sheet that said she had 154,000 miles rather than the 60,000 she actually has. Very deceptive business practices going on here. read more

Would never recommend this place!!!! Did nothing but up charge the whole oil change. Asked for just the regular oil change. He added a cleaner I didn't ask for, stripped my oil plug and added it to my bill! and at the end said someone else stripped it. All lies! Ending up at $90 for a regular oil change! They are all talk! I could have got both of my cars done for that price. Before you add stuff to my bill tell me what it is so I can decide if I want it done or not. Scammers! Would give no stars if I could! Waste of my time and money!! read more

It was time, the lovely oil light in my car was illuminating again and so I began to scour the internet looking for coupons to all of my friendly neighborhood oil change places. The discounts available vary greatly, but there's a reason for that, and you should be aware of why. From your local mechanic to the national chains, every location handles an oil change differently, so you need to arm yourself with the details as to why there are so many distinct price points. For instance, you're going to pay more for a synthetic oil change over a standard oil change. You're also going to pay more for the locations that do a multi point inspection of your car, instead of a standard change of just replacing your filter and refilling your oil. I mention this only because I noticed the reviews for several different places included many people being angry that they weren't told that they were being charged for certain things and that they felt duped. Exactly why doing some research will go a long way in saving you money. If you just want the basic, standard oil change with no other services, it should cost you between $20-$30 out the door (including taxes). All other pricing will vary significantly, so do your homework. In my instance, I found a $20 off coupon for Jiffy Lube's Signature Oil Change, which is normally $49.95. This option includes up to 6 quarts of motor oil and a new oil filter, plus these extras: vacuum interior floor, check tire pressure, windshield washer fill-up, check all fluid levels, inspect the belts, wiper blades, air filter, chassis, and exterior lights, as well as the transmission, differential, power steering, transfer case, and even the battery water. This is exactly what you want and need if you're not a car enthusiast, and definitely a great idea to do before going on a long trip. You're paying extra for piece of mind, but with my $20 off coupon, paying $31 and change is a bargain for what you're getting in my opinion. Tony and his crew were extremely friendly and he took his time explaining exactly what else my car may need in the future. He didn't play the forceful up sell card, and I really appreciated that. He only made suggestions and that is a huge difference from what I (and I'm sure most people) normally encounter. Go see Tony and let him know you saw my review on Yelp, I promise he will take care of you. Happy driving! read more

I received a coupon in the mail for an oil change and decided to go. I have always changed my own oil but didn't feel like the hassle. As my first experience going anywhere for an oil change I definitely recommend this Jiffy Lube. They recommended a few extra services but they did not push anything on me nor did I feel pressured to buy anything extra. The employees were super helpful explaining what they were doing and why they recommended me adding things on- again they were not pressuring me or making me feel like I needed to. I wish I caught their names... the only one I got was Michael but they were all awesome. If you don't know much about cars and are nervous of places that scam I definitely recommend coming here!! read more

The there was no wait when we arrived. Cidney was very helpful and polite. I declined all additional recommended services except replacing a tag light that I didn't know was out. He took the declines in stride and didn't try to force the up sale. I'll definitely be back again. read more

Jan 17, 2019 Horrible service! Manager John has some type of anxiety issues, the entire team needs training. I will never go back there. Update Jan 18, 2019 District Manager Chad reached out to me and apologized for the service performed yesterday. He told me to go to another location so they can check the check engine light that came back and replaced my air filters at no charge. The location that I went was the Brandon location on S.R 60. When I showed up Manager Jaime was waiting for me and provided excellent service along with Manager Larry. The technician that did the service in my vehicle was very thorough with his inspection. Glad that I decided to go back bc we found out that the oil filter had oil and radiator fluid was dirty, this should've been replaced the day before at the Bell Shoals location. Long story short, Brandon store were very professional and I was satisfied with the level of services they provided. I will definitely go back to Brandon. The Bell Shoals Manager should go back and get some training on how to deal with paying customers. Pics are after the service done at Bell Shoals location. Brandon location cleaned the radiator 3x. read more

My car was in need of filters the guys were great at changing oil, and getting everything done well. Thank you for great service

I have been a loyal customer at the Bells Shoals Jiffy Lube for over 2 years. I recently went there and they ask if I would like the tires rotated. I said I would. Well, that was a mistake, I didn't notice it but when I was going around my car the next day one of the hub caps was missing. I have called there numerous times and have gotten a run around. I will not ever go to one of these joints again. I just today, after 2 months was told that my car was too old and they could not get me a hubcap. I have had everyone from the secretary to the new manager make up excuses they have tried to call me. I have a business phone and an cell phone and they have not called on either. Use caution when you go there if you do, and I would not consider getting a tire rotation unless you want a hubcap missing. Now I have to go and buy 4 new hubcaps because of th eir recklessy work. read more

After a terrible experience waiting 3 hours at Courtesy Jeep Chrysler Dodge Ram for a simple oil change, I ended up leaving because they still had it gotten to my vehicle, I stopped at my local Jiffy Lube on my way home. They provided an excellent oil change, the way it should be! Freddy was extremely kind and knowledgeable. Took them 15 minutes to do my oil change and change my wiper blades. I didn't feel pressure to buy any additional service and felt like I was in good hands. They've made a life long customer out of me. Thank you! read more

I had initially came there for a leak. (Not caused by anything they did) but something another servicing company did. While they could have turned me away and advised me that I would need to take it to thr servicing placed that messed up my oil change, they looked my vehicle over and fixed the issue as well as added oil. They saved me a lot of time and money. I will be coming back here for all my servicing and car maintenance needs. And I would recommend them to anyone! Great crew of guys and very knowledgeable, staff. read more

I like getting my car done here when Wendy is there. She has the best service and the young man Corey. They always let you know everything that's going on with your car, and the wait isn't to long. I get both of my cars service here and they do a good job at keeping me educated on my cars and good attitudes. The other manager Rico was horrible, bad attitude and no customer service. Don't understand how he was a manager, but since he has been gone things are going great. The young lady Wendy I think that's her name needs a promotion and has the best attitude. Keep up the good work miss lady and team. read more

Where: Jiffy Lube Address: 3526 Bell Shoals Road Valrico, FL Phone: 813-654-2446 What service: Basic oil change Monday afternoon of October 15th took my car for a basic oil change at the Jiffy Lube in Valrico. I was charged me $50.11 for the oil change. Today, October 17, on the way to work and the oil light illuminated in my car. I thought that was puzzling, since I just took my car to get an oil change a couple days back. Next thing, I know....my car dies on the road. I had to have my car towed to mechanic. He opens the hood and what did he find?? The Oil dipstick on the SIDE of the motor and NOT in it's proper place. Lost all of the oil in my car from Monday. My motor has oil spill everywhere. This mess has now caused problems to other parts of the engine. Fixing this problem will cost me hundreds of dollars as well as a day's pay from work. read more

My 18 year old daughter recently started driving and with that has been so responsible with working, saving for college. etc... Anyway, she knew she needed to get her oil change and rather than come to her dad or myself to see where we take our vehicles she decided to go to this Jiffy Lube(big mistake!). I was floored when I found out they charged her $84.51 for a conventional oil change, new oil filter and talked her into replacing her air filter. She drives a Chevy Cobalt 4 cylinders it should not have cost her $43 to change the oil. The price of $34.99 for an air filter is absolutely ludicrous; those sell from 9.99 to 18.99 at Auto Zone. These people saw an inexperienced young adult and set out to rip her off. Our daughter works hard at a restaurant for her money and to have this Jiffy Lube screw her over is unforgivable. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. Go to Tire Kingdom On Parsons in Seffner and ask for Juan he's honest and never rips people off! SHAME ON YOU JIFFY LUBE Store #3416 read more

I was helped by Eddy J. and the service was perfect. They're fast and take care of their customers. I couldn't be more pleased.

Used to be reasonable. I took my truck in today and asked for full service. I did notice that the itemized full service sign was gone. The did check the fluids and changed the oil. They only checked the tires on the front and ignored the dual tires on the back. I made them check the back tires because the air stems were accessible. Gone are the window cleanings and vacuuming the cab. The price only includes 4 quarts of oil. Anything over that you are charged more. Less the services I expected less, NOT! Bill for oil change was $54.39. BTW: They tried to upcharge me for a new air filter. I will go elsewhere from now on. read more

I loved the service there. Much better than Tirechoice, or the dealership! They don't try to sell you extras, and use same diagnostic equipment as the big places. I could not believe they checked the filters and brakes when I went in for an oil change. I hate to write this good review, because now everyone will go there! read more
