This place was completely dishonest from start to finish. We called ahead and were quoted a price and told the tire was in stock, which is the only reason we came here. Once we arrived, the price kept changing -- first $500, then $900, then suddenly $1,100. After waiting, we were told the car wasn't ready. At first, they claimed the tires had already been put on and that they couldn't stop the work. Later, they completely contradicted themselves and said the tires had just arrived and that they would put them back on -- which made it obvious they never had the tires in stock to begin with. Before any work was completed, they then claimed the car was unsafe to drive and that the brakes, calipers, and rotors all needed immediate replacement just to leave the shop. This was after the vehicle had recently been inspected by our dealer, who quoted a much lower price and did not say the car was unsafe. This felt like a classic bait-and-switch: lure you in with a low price on the phone, then inflate the cost and add scare tactics once you're already there. Total waste of time and very misleading. Would not recommend to anyone. read more

I went to Tire Kingdom to have a screw removed and plug placed. Jose the manager let me know the screw was so small it didn't puncture the tire and didn't need a plug. There was no charge for the screw removal and assessment of the tire. Thanks, Jose! read more

I noticed a nail in one of my tires. the sensor showed it was losing air. I called Tire Kingdom to explain the situation. I was asked the make and model of my car and I told them it was a Range Rover. They told me to bring it in but I would have to wait a bit. Based on their representation I drove 30 minutes as the tire continued to leak air.After I got there one of the workers told me "we can't change this tire because we don't want to be responsible for damage to the rim. I went for a simple solution to see what was causing my car to shake when accelerating they told me it was my tires I got them replaced didn't work they told me it was my break pads and they only sell them together with rotors to I went ahead and bought break pads and rotors then they said it needed a realignment I did that and rebalanced the car and none of this worked but they still charged me $900+ and my problem is still not fixed then after my 3rd visit for the same problem they told me there was a dent in my rim causing it to hop when I got home i was pissed then I just now noticed they took my lugnut lock on and NEVER PUT IT BACK ON now I have to by a lugnut lock DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION I specifically ask for a issue to be fixed they did everything but fix it and charged me $900 and after coming here my light died and I've just been having issue after issue on my car read more

Tom Terrific here with another honest business review. Meineke in Clearwater had failed me miserably so i brought my car to this Tire Kingdom shop in Holiday. I was pleasantly surprised at the corgiality of the men working there. Pete and the rest of the crew seemed delighted I was there! I explained that i had low pressure on three tires and to check them all out. One of the techs named Dave showed me several problems. I said OK, lets get some new tires. They fixed a loose turn signal bulb and i got a oil change. All in all i found their service to be excellent and i can recommend them. I was especially pleased with the price of the oil change. There's a place across the street that does only oil change and their price was more than double what i paid here. Tire Kingdom in Holiday, a good place to bring your car. I had a dead battery. I brought my car to them to check the battery. They checked it and said it was fine and charged it up. The car didn't start the next day so I took it to AutoZone for them to test the battery. They said the battery was dead and I got a new battery from AutoZone. No idea what they're doing or they didn't want to help me get a new battery. read more

Got 2 new front tires not even 24hrs ago. I was there yesterday at 1 left at 2. I woke up this morning and there is a hole in my back left tire with a nail sticking out. I got my tires done and drove 5mins home that's it, I think it quite a coincidence that this is happening. Had a flat and sent my significant other to see if they carried the tire as I wasn't feeling well. He expressed wanting to fix the issue so I wouldn't have to drive to work on a donut, which I appreciate. The salesperson sold him ONE tire for the flat tire- when he came home I realized this and sent him back to the shop (less than .5 mile) to speak to them about selling him a different tire because I know that you shouldn't put 1 different tire on a car with 3 other tires. When I called to explain that tires should be offered in pairs the gentleman that answered the phone told me I was wrong. I am NOT wrong. He saw an opportunity to sell one tire knowing we likely wouldn't want to buy two since my tires were all new. I am now stuck with one tire (175.00) that I cannot currently use. I have since replaced the tire with the correct one from the dealer but am still out the 175 for the tire that should not have been sold to us. They wanted me to buy a new tire. I told them not to worry about the repair i would come get my truck. wouldn't you know I woke up the next morning my tire was flat. Had a leak with my air cond. system that required ripping out the dash, steering wheel, etc. A very complicated procedure. Very happy with the outcome. We did have to bring the car back to have a couple of vents reconnected to the adjusters. What makes a great car repair shop is not just the quality of the work they do, its what they do if something is not quite right. No one is perfect; no shop, no human. I understand that; Stuff happens. But it's not the stuff that happens that matters, it's what the shop will do to address that and the Tire Kingdom in Holiday, Fl. personifies costumer satisfaction. It's New Years Eve and I have a leak in my tire. I live 2 hours away and had to get home tonight. I called 7 other shops in New Port Richey and they were all "booked". Well, Tire Kingdom said I will have to wait, but I was stranded and didn't care how long it took. I got there about noon and they had me out in under an hour with a patch for a hole from a nail. I came in late on a Sunday afternoon riding bitch in a tow truck with my poor car on the truck bed due to a blown tire. They were having a buy 2, get 2 sale on tires. They had a few options of tires in stock for me to choose from. Within a couple hours, I had a brand new set of tires on my ride. They told me about how long it would take and even worked hard to finish by closing time. I was able to get picked up to run some errands in the meantime, but their waiting room is clean with comfy chairs and a tv. The bathrooms are male and female separate and are surprisingly clean. It's amazing how many other Tire Kingdom shops I've been to for anything and ALWAYS have an issue with them but not this shop!! I got a hole in my tire around 5p on a Saturday before Easter which led to me throwing on a donut tire and inching it back towards Holiday after being refused by the East Lake Rd store (don't ever go there). I believe her name was Diana, but she was awesome and the crew there were quick to work and patch the tire. Given the tire was covered by my road hazard, it didn't cost me a dime buttt... knowing it wouldn't cost me anything I wanted the team to benefit for being able to help me and not being scared to work so I bought an oil change to help. Great job, I'd recommend this location @ 19/ALT 19 over any Tire Kingdom I've ever been to. Even if it's out of the way, go to it!!! read more

Robert, one of the mechanics there, is absolutely amazing! I came in there expecting to have to purchase new tires because I had horrible vibrations in my steering wheel going over 50 mph. Instead of agreeing with me, he instead assured me that my tires were fine and instead suggested that I have my tires balanced. After getting my tires balanced here, my car drives 100% smoothly again. Thank you to all of the Tire Kingdom team for being polite, professional, and ensuring that I am getting the repairs I need instead of what I ask for. I can tell you from first hand experience that they are not trying to rip off customers. They will recommend repairs only when you need it. Hard to find a repair shop like this place where the people who work there actually care about trying to save people money on car repairs. Will definitely do my servicing for my car here. read more

Called to set up appointment for oil change so I would not have to wait. Was told I could bring it in now, so I did. 45 minutes after they pull truck in I ask them if there is an issue. He tells me they are waiting for a rack to do oil change on. I tell them that's why I called and he says I am welcome to bring it back later if that's better for me. Obviously I tell him he should have told me that 45 minutes ago. 1.5hr oil change with horrible customer service. No wonder they are never busy! read more

I had a tire in really bad shape and was due for a new set, so I thought it would be great to take advantage of their "buy 2 get 2 free" deal. Turns out this deal only applies if you buy some warranty/service plan that costs the same amount as the other 2 tires anyway. I had two tires installed on my daughters Fusion and I needed 4 tires on my other daughters Malibu and I could not find the price range I was looking for so I made an appointment at Tires Plus for the Malibu which at the time of the online scheduling was a really good price. While at Tire Kingdom for the Fusion I mentioned this to Diane Perez the sales associate and she painstakenly looked for tires to mach the quote I received from Tires Plus but to no avail. I then received a call from Tires Plus while waiting for the Fusion and what do you know he said oh we do not have those tires in stock but I have ones for $20 more per tire! I hung up with him and went back to Diane and told her the story and she not only found me a better tire and she was able to discount them to $30 less in total price then Tires Plus!
