I do not normally write reviews, I've been doing business with tire discounters since they opened in Bellevue. I've been disappointed a few times, but not to the point of writing a review. This time it was over the top. First of all, I requested my rear tires be replaced and rotated to the front. I asked that my front tires be rotated to the back because they are still good. Went to pick up my vehicle., New tires were on the back and the front tires that I had asked to be rotated to the back, we're still on the front. My request was not rocket science, however, it got wrote up differently, obviously. they offered to keep correct the mistake the next morning. I agreed even though I needed my work vehicle desperately. Then I noticed two of my center covers over my lugs were missing. I confronted the service desk and they look for them, they concluded I must have been mistaken. I was not mistaken ! I also requested a front end alignment, and they concluded it could not be aligned because of the tie rod ends needed to be replaced. OK, that's fine but they charged me for the alignment anyway. So I confronted the service desk and they credited back that charge. OK, so I get home and look at my ticket and noticed I was charged for road hazard warranty which I did not request! Went back to the establishment, confronted them at the service desk. And they wrote up a reimbursement for the roadhouse warranty, they printed me out a letter saying that I would receive my refund in 2 to 3 week! Really!! Taking this all into consideration there is the value of my time as well, which was kind of blown off, no sign of humility or apology whatsoever. I doubt this review will ever make it to the public, I Noticed most good reviews always go first. I hope at least a regional manager will take a look at this review and take appropriate action. BEWARE BEWARE OF THIS VENUE!!! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR WELL BEING OR SAFETY!! Hello, I'm writing regarding a very unfortunate and disappointing experience at your Church Street location in Nashville, Tennessee. I brought my car in for a simple oil change and tire rotation. Later, I received a call from the General Manager EMMANUAL recommending new brake pads and rotors. Orignally appreciated the transparency and, as a trusting customer, approved the $1,000 repair (with over $400 of that being labor). I was told around 4:00 PM on Friday, 10/24, that the work would be completed within 90 minutes. When I asked if I could leave the car overnight, I was told, "No--the General Manager doesn't allow overnight parking." However, after arriving at 5:30, I received no update until 6:40, when I was informed that there was an issue with the front left rotor and that my car would, in fact, need to stay overnight. That was frustrating enough, as it directly contradicted what I'd been told earlier. The following morning, I picked up my vehicle. Within just five miles of driving, I began hearing a loud crashing sound--one that turned out to be a lug nut falling off of the break Pad causing it to dislodge. This caused my car to come to a complete stop in traffic. I was barely able to steer it off the highway safely. Your team later had to tow the vehicle and repair the damage they caused. Despite the dangerous nature of this incident and the clear negligence involved, the General Manager EMMANUAL showed little remorse and offered only "a couple of free oil changes" as compensation for what could have easily resulted in a serious accident. IN ADDITION HE ACCUSED ME OF BEING RACIST WHEN I EXPRESSED MY DISPLEASURE. I don't typically leave complaints--especially as someone who also runs businesses--but this was a grossly negligent and unsafe experience that put me directly in harm's way on a busy game day in Nashville. I'm sharing this because I don't want any other customer to go through something similar. UPDATE: TRISTAN ORIGINALLY CALLED ME and apologized for Emmanuel's lack of sympathy and offered me a $200 refund and 3 oil changes or new tires. 16 days later I have yet to see this refund and the regional manager actually seems irritated with me for their mistake. I also went in to honor my offer for a new tire (on 11/15 which was said on the phone and they refused and offered half off) when going to retrieve my car at 12:30 EMMANUAL Lost my keys, Got very flustered, told me Im a liar and tried to offer me someone else's keys multiple times. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! I took my car there to get two new tires. When I left, every warning light came on and the car wouldn't move from park to drive. They could not figure out what they accidentally did to mess my car up, and we ended up having to get it towed to the dealership. I have never in my life seen such a routine maintenance procedure go so wrong, and they did not offer to pay for any of the additional expenses they caused. My car was fine when I took it in for tires, and it literally had to be towed out because of some sort of electrical problem that was caused during the tire change. Though they were very kind and tried to figure out what they did wrong, I would not recommend this place to anyone and will not be going there again! read more

Save yourself and Do not come here. I had an appointment today at 9am for tires and brake service. Upon arrival I was checked in, and I was going to wait on the car. I had been told on the phone 2-2 and a half hours. 4 hours later, I am told that they are finally wrapping up. I find out only the tires and alignment had been done in this time after telling the person at the desk that I was most concerned about my brakes. They then tell me they need to order parts (How does a place that advertises brake service not have parts on hand to provide for the service that they promote?????). So after the 4 hours at the store, my wife picks me up and they tell me that they are getting the parts in and will have it done before close. I just got a call 10 minutes before they close saying that they were unable to get the parts, and it will not be done until tomorrow at around 10am. On top of this they are charging a thousand dollars for this "service". Now I get to ride Ubers all day to work while hoping they can finally get brakes in to put on my vehicle. I have never felt the need to leave a Yelp review, and this is hopefully my first and only one to save anyone from coming to endure what I have today. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. My wife had a nail in her tire so she called this place and was told if she brought it in right now, they could get it done as a walk in. She was busy with the kids so I took the car for her. I sat there for 2+ hours and still no one touched the car. I asked an employee if it would be done soon and he said it would be done when it was done. Very rude employee and awful customer service. I left without getting the tire fixed and will not return. I will also update my neighborhood spreadsheet where I found the recommendation to caution people. read more

This place is great! I was on my way home to Miami from Jackson, Tennessee and an hour into the drive my tire popped. I called them because it was 6 and they close at 7 but I was an hour away. Jeff advised me to just come in and they would help me because they understand I was in a hurry home. When I got there Jonathon helped me. He was very nice and attentive. They helped without hesitation even though I walked in five minutes before closing. He got my car fixed up and ready to go within twenty minutes. I am so grateful for their amazing service . I gotta double down on my original review, because these guys helped me out again today with fantastic customer service. I brought in a tire with a nail after an unpleasant flat tire discovery this morning. I had the donut on my car expecting just to leave the rim and tire there for repair, knowing how busy they normally are. They took my wheel in, confirmed that it needed to be replaced as a repair was not an option, went ahead and replaced the tire with a brand new one and switched it out with the donut...all in under 45 min. I figured this flat was going to be a 2 day ordeal but thanks to these guys I was back on the road right away. Can't say thanks enough! read more

They will keep tires that look new that have a hole in the side wall plug it or fill it with fix a flat and put it on your car and swear you did it. It is low down and dirty to treat people this way. It was a busy day it was staffed well and as I had an hour wait I was really surprised to see this level of customer service at a tire center. A few weeks ago I attempted to take my husband's car for a quick trip to the bank. I needed to withdraw cash for movers that were soon to be arriving at my doorstep. *NARRATOR VOICE: It would not be a quick trip to the bank.* Upon exiting my neighborhood, I heard an annoying flapping sound and noticed the tire indicator light had turned on, but I didn't think much of it because nothing FELT weird. Disclaimer -- I've barely left my house in 3 months thanks to Covid-19. There could have been a rainbow-colored raccoon strapped to the hood of the car, and I probably wouldn't have even noticed, BUT I DIGRESS. I had an extra minute or two, so I hopped over to Tire Discounters to have them top off the air. I rushed inside and Roderick followed me out to the parking lot. I frantically pointed at my husband's car and told him movers were arriving at my house in 20 minutes and I thought there was something wrong with my tire -- which, at that point, was almost completely flat. I try to hold my own at these kind of places, but this was not one of my finer moments LOLLLLL. Roderick and the team at store #94 replaced the tire in a hurry and sent me on my way. I was able to make it home just in time to meet the movers and now have a brand new tire AND a new sofa, so who's the real winner here? And bonus! It cost me SIGNIFICANTLY less than I anticipated (buy the tire insurance, y'all!!!)! This isn't the first time these guys have bailed me out, but sadly it's the first time I'm writing a review telling you how great they are. When you travel for your job, you have more car issues than the average person. But they've always been very gracious and accommodating, even when I show up looking like some kind of white trash ninja. I was not dressed to be in public but thankfully had a mask handy because SAFETY FIRST (and pants later APPARENTLY). After seeing the fan boy and hater reviews, I figured I need to jump in a bit, as I don't think the 1 star and 5 star are representative. I think 3 is realistic and 4 in some areas, maybe 2 in others. I have used them numerous times, so I think around average, maybe a bit above, is realistic. The short story is most of the negatives come from the fact they have skyrocketed beyond where the business should be and are missing some elements to account for the success. I agree they should conquer these issues, but I am not seeing a 1 star operation because of them. I also don't think resolving a single problem is worthy of 5 stars, as it is too subjective. On the negative side is getting appointments, getting things done quickly when you just drop in, etc. What a pain, but it is the reality of success. Near the trace, they are the only game in town and they have picked up a lot of peripheral, non-tire, business. I also see quoted one price and got a different price in the store. I agree this is not good, but I need context. If you get a quote today and it is different, I see that as not properly getting the information and then quoting (a mistake on their part). If you got a quote a week ago when X was on sale and expect that quote to be honored this week, when they are not, it is a mistake on your part. I don't doubt they make mistakes. I have found, within reason, the manager was good at finding options that worked for us. We have also had one issue with repairing a tire under their warranty and had to return to the store to get it done right. I think a bit better communication amongst their staff could help. On the converse, we had a manager try to bend over backwards to resolve a problem that was not their fault and left us very happy. If I weigh the two out, the inconvenience of returning to make sure they were thorough was less critical, objectively speaking, than the resolution of a more major, and costly, error (essentially helping us get a defective tire rated as defective so we could use the manufacturers guarantee - NOTE: I did not buy these tires from Tire Discounters, so it was done to focus on a potential future between us, not direct profit). I would love to say we have a sterling operation in Bellevue and give 4-5 stars. I don't think it is there yet. And with the massive growth, it has made it more difficult to get there. But I don't see a 1 star operation either. I get that there are mistakes made, but I have found they are very reasonable if you have your eyes opened to the realities of their skyrocketing business and plan accordingly. read more

Not able to give my usual 5 stars this time. In the long, long end, the job got done. I had an early morning appointment for an oil change. Dropped it off at 8:15. It took 7 hours. What on earth? I had to cancel afternoon plans and wait on it. A simple oil change with an appointment? Employee at the service desk could use a long vacation. Grumpy, complaining, rapid fire responses, couldn't answer a simple question, unfriendly. His vacation would help solve that. This was my first time in a few decades that I needed a nail hole repaired. The parking lot was full (dude at customer service joked I would be behind about 15 other people needing the same thing). So I left my car. About 90 minutes (or less) later it's ready. And it's FREE. While in the store, an olderl gentleman came in. He had taken his car somewhere else for tire rotation but was having a problem - guys behind counter explained what he needed to do to see if the problem corrected itself and assured him they'd figure it out if problem persisted. I have been going to Tire Discounters in Bellevue since they opened. The store is very convenient to where I live, so its always my choice to go there instead of going into Bellevue or further. Their service was outstanding in the beginning, but ever since the area has begun to expand, I can no longer say it warrants 5 stars. The last two times that I have made appts for oil changes, the man checking the car in has not even greeted me or said hello = I just get "someone will be with you when they have a minute. No greeting; no eye contact; he just keeps looking at the computer. The service and pricing has been fine and the wait time is not bad, but they certainly could work on their pleasantries. read more

I have gone to Tire Discounters on Highway 100 for many years. They have always treated me fairly and giving me honest advice. I took my sons car in on Tuesday to catch up on shocks and oil and rotation. My sons car is very old, 2003 Honda Civic. Somehow we had the coincidence of an axle boot tearing while they were taking care of the car. I'm sure it is just a coincidence and was on it's last leg as I brought it to the shop and we just didn't know but because it happened while under their care they repaired it for free. Roderick Took me in the shop with the car on the list should be what happened. He explained how it wasn't their fault but how it happened while under their care and he wanted to take care of us. I have always known him to respond this way. The line is out the door every morning with those of us who trust him. Firt time, last time customer. This store really needs to spend some quality time at Discount Tire and learn what real customer service looks like. I was greeted with zero enthusiasm, entered my name incorrectly in the system, called to tell me my vehicle was ready didn't show any edict when ending the phone call, not even a goodbye. When I picked up my vehicle, the gentleman helping me begins to discuss how much he is enjoying the Supreme Courts decision on the 2nd amendment. You know every time I go to this place I am more and more amazed by their service and customer service. You are never pressured into anything but rather recommended to attend to things currently and in the future. Anthony is very knowledgeable and courteous. I've seen this man deal with 1 customer and 4-5 customers at once and make each feel appreciated and cared for. He allows a customer to feel comfortable to get work done on their car not knowing what else could possibly come up. I wish Anthony continued success as well as this specific location! I went in for a simple all four shell alignment and balance/rotation. I came out extremely satisfied and with more information about my car than I expected to receive. They did a complete check up and informed me of the good and bad and made me feel comfortable by explaining it with terminology that I could understand. Have used TD multiple times for service but recently seems to have gone downhill. I see 6 guys standing around doing nothing while I wait for a scheduled repair that should take only 5 mins. Three nails!! In two tires!!! How on earth??!! Tire Discounters totally rocked - I called the day before and they gave me a convenient appointment time. They were incredibly fast - my car was done and ready for me in about 40 minutes even though I'd chosen not to wait. First off, I live in Atlanta. I couldn't get a AAA appointment that I requested, but my friend here nearby always raves about the service at Tire Discounters. These guys are awesome. I called over the weekend to request an appointment, but they were booked. But they said they could likely work me in today. Arrived around 10:00 this morning and Christopher manning the counter. As soon as he was finished with a call, he started helping me. We walked out to my car, popped the hood and he removed the dead headlight. Went right back in the shop and came out with a replacement and installed it right there. I was out in five minutes and Christopher refused to charge me for the service. read more

I bought new tires from Tire Discounters, the tires were a good price. When I picked up my son's car with the new tires I noticed that the custom chrome wheel hub cover was missing. They claimed that it must have fallen off before we brought the car in. That is impossible because the hub cover requires a key to remove the hub cover from the wheel. I spoke to the manager and he told me they didn't have the cover. Take a picture of your car before you leave it with them. My guess is they broke the hub cover before they realized they needed to use the key in the glove box. I will not be back. read more

I just went in yesterday and there was someone available to help me right away even during rush hour. He was very nice and gave good advice. I went in to show them a nail in my tire and asked for advice on plugging it versus buying a new tire. The nail was so close to the wall of the tire so I figured a new tire was needed. He mentioned how it wouldn't last long if we plugged it and suggested I buy one of their cheaper tires to get me through a couple more years since my other three tires were waring down. This place was great! Definitely recommend. I don't give out 5 stars often so it takes a lot from me to do so, like cheaper prices even and free drinks/food offered every time ;) That being said, this place is still great!! read more
