I came in yesterday evening after noticing that my right rear tire was pretty low. Rich assisted me with everything. He answered all of my questions and was quick and efficient with resolving my issue. I walked into Tire Discounters at 5:39 PM and walked out at 6:42 PM. I say that he was quick and efficient as he had many customers come in after me (it seems that he's the one that handles all of the paperwork and getting your information put into the computer system) but was quick to get my car finished before closing time (7 PM). While waiting, customers can enjoy programming on two televisions, free WiFi, and a cup of coffee or a bottle of water in the waiting area. Absolutely terrible service where the sales person was being blatantly racist with another customer. Service tech that worked on my car didn't bother to reset the maintenance monitor in my car so someone with no idea of that would be worrying for no reason, and they didn't bother to rotate the tires (which is supposedly included) DO NOT GO HERE read more

Came in for new front tires. First it took them 1hr to move the car into a bay and get started. They completely snapped one of my wheel studs. And put a deep scratch/gash in my rim. Of course nobody will fess up to anything. And it's all on the customer. The manager seemed to get irritated when I said "you broke my wheel stud" as if it was broke before they started to work on it. Then had the courage to quote me $480 to press out the hub and install new wheel studs on just that one side. (Keep in mind wheel studs are $2-$5 a piece) I understand paying the for the person doing the job and their time but I feel sorry for the unknowing person who's sitting in their lobby now being told they can't leave in the car they drove in because the shop broke it, and then putting a gouged expense on the customer. Go up north of Columbus the tire discounters up there do a much better job. read more

Had to schedule an appoint to get leak in tire repaired, service took about an hour, and charged me almost $50. Then started to have shaking while driving and stopped to ask if they can check the balance and was told they do that before putting back on and I could schedule an appoint to have it looked at and cost me more money. I declined and took it to another shop where they had me in and out in 15 to fix this tire that was way out of balance and for free of charge. Would not recommend. Go to Discount Tire instead where they will take care of you without costing you time or money. read more

Well they had an opportunity to have one of those feel good stories where the tire guy is Superman and swoops in to save the day. But they blew it. I was due to leave to go on a vacation with my new grandson in 12 hours. Stopped by the store for some food to eat along the way and when I walked out I seen a flat. It's 530, I can see the tire discounters from the store. A quick switch to the spare and rush over 12 minutes til 6. They close at six. Three guys inside only one can help someone. My luck this person being helped is let's say very needy and he had to take 5 minutes to deal with her. When I get asked if I could be help (haha) I told them my situation. I was told they were unable to help me because they close in 5 minutes. Maybe they should close at 5 so they don't have to help people when they are open. I've always buy my tires at discount tires. Never been to a tire discounter and until today had trouble telling them apart. No problem anymore. I will never stop at one of their locations again. read more

This is not only a review, but a recommendation on how to conduct your business with Tire Discounters. I knew my vehicle needed an alignment and I was also in need of a set of new tires due to the weatherman saying there is a good chance for some accumulated snow next week. I have always heard Tire Discounters includes a free alignment with the purchase of four tires and they also recently opened a new store on S. Hamilton Rd. just north of 33. I jumped on their website, easily found a tire I liked, and gave the store a call to confirm that they had 4 of those tires in stock. The associate on the phone whose name I believe was Larry, was friendly and informative. He confirmed they had 4 of the tires in stock and asked I'd like to make an appointment. The time was approximately 10:40am, and I asked if noon was open. Larry said a noon spot was open, and I said I would see him then. I showed up a little early at 11:45am, and was greeted by Larry. Ill admit I was skeptical on how "real" my appointment time was. I've made appointments at other places and they really don't mean anything, because they'll just put you in line with the other customers who walked in or because they're backed up. To Tire Discounters' credit, they had my name and tires I requested written down in a log book, and even though there were other customers, they got me right in even a few minutes early! Instead of waiting in the store the entire time, I walked across S Hamilton Rd and grabbed a meal at McDonalds to waste some time. I walked back and sat in the modern waiting room. There is a nice flat screen television with plenty of chairs, but for some odd reason the television was turned to an infomercial. I suppose someone could have changed it but no one did. The store does have free wifi, but you have to ask an associate for the password. Since they were getting busy the associates were both constantly with customers so I didn't want to bother them for the password. (My tip, just leave the darn wifi open like everyone else does!) Another cool thing about the waiting area is its equipped with another flat screen television with approximately 8 camera views of the workshop, so you can see your vehicle being worked on. If that's not enough for you, there is also a huge picture window between the workshop and showroom if you want to keep a real eye on your vehicle kind of like the Paranoid Rob Lowe guy from the commercials. Not even an hour later, my car was equipped with new tires and a fresh alignment. My 8 year old 115,000 mile SUV (Keep in mind my Ferrari stays in the garage in the winter,) j/k! Drives like she's brand new again! I DEFINITELY recommend making an appointment before you go, because as I sat there waiting, I heard them start giving walk in customers about an hour and a half wait time before they could even get their cars in because the store started getting busier. Another plus was this was the morning of January 2. The Buckeyes had just played a really late game the night before, but the store had PLENTY of employees staffed and working out in the shop. I'll probably buy all my tires from Tire Discounters in the future even though it's not the close place. read more

My wife, daughter and myself have taken tires that constantly leak air to have them repaired.. Was told by these rocket scientists that they couldn't find a leak in any of the tires on any of the occasions. Worst experience of my life. Ordered tires and came to my appointment. They removed my tires and then figured out they never ordered new tires at all. So they didn't tell me and snuck out the back to go get them from another store. I watched my car sit untouched for 2 hours. I asked and they said they were hard at work. I said I wanted to leave and they said they were almost done. Another hour later they finally finished an the mechanic said sorry we never ordered your tires. 3 hours of waiting and my alignment was horrible, if I let go of the wheel for 2 seconds it would swerve off the road. I called corporate and they didn't even apologize. I got a free alignment from a different location and it pulled just as hard in the other direction. I had to pay another $100 to get a good alignment to fix the problem. This company is trash. read more

I've been here a few times and the staff are honest and prioritize the safety of their customers over everything else. Recently, my parents were passing through Columbus and got a flat. They made it to this Tire Discounters around 6:30 and they immediately got them in to replace their tire so they wouldn't be stranded for the night. Being so close to closing time, they easily could have turned them away, but worked them in with great customer service. read more

My mother arrived at this location shortly after 6:00 p.m. this evening. She purchased her tires they are around a year ago. She recognized when she arrived home from work today that she had a rather large nail in her rear passenger tire. So since she paid for the free repair service with her warranty she naturally went to where she purchased the tires to have this fixed. The gentleman working the front desk told her there was nobody able to help her this evening. There was one employee and the Bay area working on a vehicle while talking on his cellphone and another associate standing outside. He told her to take it to the nearest closest location which was more than 35 miles away. At this time her tire was losing air at a rapid rate. There was no sway she was going to make it that distance before the tire blew. The gentleman argued with her for more than a 1/2 an hour and refused her service. He never offered to plug the tire and he did not offer the services of the to other employees that were there. Needless to say we left heated. I've never in my life seen such disrespect and neglect of customers. We drove 5 miles up the street on a slowly fading tire only to have a small tire shop repair her tire FOR FREE, which should have been done at your location as the warranty was purchased through you. A call to corporate will be in order 1st thing in the morning and when someone asks for recommendations, you can guarantee this place will not be 1st on the list. Your customer service, and the way the situation was handled was absolutely pathetic and unacceptable. How dare you not honor her warranty and have ONE of your 3 associates do their JOB! read more

Second time to this location in 2 months. This trip was to put 2 tires on our 2011 Toyota Sienna. They had the right tire at the right price. Installation went well. On a side note, I had not recieved my rebates from the manufacturer, or from Tire Discounters for using my TD credit card back in December. With a little research the management team made it right! They applied my manufacturer rebate to my new purchase total. They reprinted my receipt and gave me a new form for my TD rebate as well. Just shows me that they are all about customer service and doing whatever it takes to keep our business! I stopped here after discovering a flat tire when I came out of Giant Eagle. I just wanted to get it patched but the service manager said it was beyond repair. The cheapest tire was about $100 which I didn't have. Evo, the service manager, was nice enough to look for a used tire that would help me get on my way. They had exactly one and at a fair price! I took my car in to have an alignment done because it was jerking to the left and to the right so they told me i needed two tire rods so i had them replace them. When i picked my car up they said everything was fine with my car, when i started driving it was still jerking, took the car back and then it was something else. So how do i really know the tire rods were bad to begin with???? I will never take my car back there again. They think cause im a women they can take advantage of me. read more

Warning!! Do not take your car here! They are frauds and are extremely unprofessional. This has to be the worst company I have ever done business with. I went in to get two tires put on (I even bought the lifetime warranty's and road hazard) and an oil change, I come back to pick my car up just to find they have damaged the bottom of my door! So I walk back in to talk to the GM and he was rude. Long story short after 3 visits to the location and over 8 calls to their corporate office and a brief discussion with their District Manager and countless emails with him, I still have not heard back about the 2 estimates he told me to get to see how much it would be to fix the door. It originally took about 8 calls to get him to respond back to my desperate pleas for answers. He only responds when its convenient to himself. I work in the customer service field and this is ridiculous. They are the worst place to go to! It has now been over 2 and a half weeks after I was told I would receive answers, and still nothing. There Distract manager even takes his sweet time. Who would want this type of customer service?? Anyone that wants good business should stay clear of this place. read more
