Can I give no stars?? I have spent a lot of money at this location, been a loyal customer, but they have lost a very good customer for good. My tires have been losing air since they put them on 3years ago, they told me they would fix them as I bought road hazard as I always do. I am talking taking them back for being completely flat, as I do not neurotically check them for minor fluctuations in tire pressure, but 5 times I had taken them in, 5 times they said they took care of the issue. Assured they ground down the edges and sealed the rims with heavy duty rubber sealer, EVERY TIME, they leaked air immediately the very next day one or two would be flat. I would curse, pump them up and go to work annoyed. I finally bought a newly refurbished rim and took it to them this morning to replace the worst offending rim. They looked at the car and told me the tires are at the tread limit and they won't switch the tire to the new rim and it will be $700 for new tires!!!! What a rip off. I lost over a year of life on the tires! I left, annoyed and went to Katz Tires where they showed me none of the wheel edges were ever ground with a grinder or sealed as I had been assured they were by Tire Discounters, a complete ripoff of a company and location. Do not shop there. Go to Katz tires on 161 where they were helpful, honest, fast and saved me $300 for the same tires! read more

Very helpful via the phone and then in person. Open later than some of the other repair shops in town AND they had the battery I needed. (I happened to come home from a 16 day vaca to find my battery dead). Thankfully my husband is handy when it comes to the car and easily got tgebold battery out andbreolaced with the new battery. The price wasn't horrible, but this also isn't a top of the line battery. No biggie..... It serves its purpose, and I am up and running again. Friendly staff too. I would go here again. read more

My first experience here was pretty good, but today's experience will keep me from ever coming back. I had trouble getting them to pick up the phone to return a message from Alyssa, 4 attempts from 11:30-2:00. Nobody picked up at all. At one point, I was placed on hold by manager Chris. After 10 minutes on hold, I hung up and immediately called back. Miraculously, Alyssa immediately picked up the phone and I tried explaining the frustration I was experiencing and I was even debating whether or not to have them to do the work. Before I could ask for a manager, Alyssa hung up on me. I immediately called back and manager Chris picked up the phone. I told him the problem I was having getting this resolved. He said he had 4 customers in front of him, so I told him that really wasn't my problem and that I needed this taken care of. His response to me was "that's not my problem". scam. I went in with a nail in the tire which I ask them to remove. They removed the tire and stated that there was a bulge in the side wall and I needed new tires immediately. When I refuse to purchase tires the put the donut spare on without my knowledge. Upon arrival at my residence I discovered that there a donut spare had been placed on and immediately drove back to the shop. The manager told me it was against the law for him to put a damaged tire back on the vehicle. When I ask him what law? He could not provide an answer . I had to speak to a district manager to get my tire put back on the vehicle. They were just trying to scam me into buying tires from them and when I did not they refused to put my original tire back on the vehicle. I strongly suggest not doing any business with this company. read more

I bought 4 new tires for the Sloppy Jalopy today. I was impressed by the facility's cleanliness and courteous, speedy, professional staff. They include free alignment with four tires. The price was very competitive, especially for the road hazard insurance which was about $6 per tire. There is an immaculate new McDonald's next door with free wifi. Fantastic customer service! I scheduled 4 new tires with them and the customer rep on the phone was so friendly and helpful that she actually let me take advantage of an expired promotion. I ended up with 4 quality Yokahama tires at $75 discount, a $50 Visa gift card for using their credit card, and half off their road hazard warranty ($30 for all 4 tires.) I couldn't be happier. I also really appreciate their out-the-door pricing on their website. It's aggravating to get hit with disposal and valve stem fees after the fact. Tire Discounters doesn't do this to you. read more

Office seemed to be under staffed. Staff was very nice though. Phone rang for like 20 times before someone answered it. I saw this as I was in the store and the one person at counter let another call ring or go unanswered because they were working with me. They told me wait was long so to drop off and it would be ready by 2:30 Pm. Drop off was 11:30 am. It was ready at 6 pm. :-) Place is understaffed and a bit overpriced. read more

Just received an alignment, car still pulls to the right. Tires were not rotated still was charged for service. Sales person gave me a b.s. excuse and did not offer to fix problem. I had a free oil change because I had a terrible experience at a different location. It took them 2.5 hrs to change the oil..don't know if this is because I told them I had the coupon or they are just slow. I'm probably not coming back to this chain..free alignments aren't worth it. read more

I wish I was able to give 0 stars. Just found out that during tire rotation they installed one tire the wrong side in. In addition they stripped two bolts. Why would you even offer services if you are not able to do a right job???? Stay away from this store. read more

I bought a set of tires here for my 08 Audi A4....competitive pricing and far better than MAG. I've returned every 5k for a tire rotation and am always met with great customer service and friendly staff. Since then I've had a nail removed in one tire and just yesterday had a front headlamp bulb replaced for less than half the cost at MAG. Dave was super helpful, informative, efficient and friendly. I learned that they service many German cars there and after price comparison with MAG for a full synthetic oil change and brakes, you can bet I will return. Everyone in the shop yesterday afternoon were treated respectfully, with what I observed to be honest and frank conversations and suggestions about how to proceed. There were lots of smiling customer faces, in addition to my own. That speaks for itself! read more

I can't speak for the others on here but I (as a woman, and yes, it does suck). Have found myself in situations of being up-sold into the thousands of extra dollars more than I need to. I came here at first tofix my Olds as it had been smoking while I drove it. I wanted to drive it until it blew up and it was practically there. No, they didn't fix it. No, they didn't try to sell me crap to try and fix it. They were honest. And the mechanic (Joe, I believe?) talked to me about my options if i were to financially undertake a new engine. The diagnosis was confirmed by two other shops. I came back... voila! NEW CAR! I wanted to give them a shot at actually fixing something. The oil change prices are great. The service is great. And not only that but the other customers make it a comfortable experience. They tell you the recommended maitenance (who doesn't?) but they don't haggle you or do anything other than mention. It's always me who's price-asking and inquiring on the mileage and any disadvantages. I'm happy with these guys. And I'm honestly sorry that others are not. But you're more likely to review something you hate anyways, right? read more

Larry B. 11/11/2014 I went back home to Urbana,Ohio at 4:00 to pick up a set of tires from my son for my truck. I tried to get the tires mounted at two places there which both told me to bring it back in the morning. I drove back to Westerville and stopped at Gemini Place at 6:15 and talked to David Greenlee who told me that his team would be glad to mount the tires. I was very glad to see a company take care of the customer..... Thats very hard to find that anymore. They closed at 7:00 and I walked out at 7:20. Thank You very much....... Gave these people every opportunity to correct failures but they stuck together like an underworld organization. Chris was the counter man, Jane the manager and Cobi or Cory was the shop manager. Spent over 1200.00 on tires, 75.00 on oil change. Chris tells me that a tire pressure monitor was bad and would be 75.00 to replace. I turned it down. When job was finished all tires were not filled properly. I brought my truck back so they filled up the tires. Cory noticed that the wheel balance weights were not attached so he had his employees fix it. I now discover nothing was wrong with my tire monitors. Now I start to wonder if they changed my oil. The filter was replaced but when I look at the oil drain plug it is untouched. I asked them to explain how they changed the oil. They said they took out the drain plug. I asked with what a magic wrench because no dirt was moved from the oil plug. I then confronted Chris about my concerns he apologized. Then Jane the manager came out and said she saw the employee change the oil. I told that there was no evidence that what she was saying was true. She told Chris to take my truck up on the lift to show me. I said not necessary as I had been under the truck now with 3 employees and I can see the truth. Then Cory told Chris to tell me to move my truck so he could bring in another vehicle. I told Chris that if I would have sent my wife they would have just taken advantage of her. But they took advantage of me as well and had no shame. I see many who have felt good about the experience they had here. I would have felt the same way if I would have just closed my eyes and not checked the work. If you go here watch them closely or just go to the dealer. read more

When you buy tires here don't expect any warranty on the tires unless you do every recommendation they make whether it is true or not. When I went in they made rec's which I did what was needed but not through them. I went back for a warranty and I understand they need to make sure things were done but it can be done without feeling interrogated. The guy that was helping me was polite asking the questions than a young lady came into the conversation . drilling me the only thing missing was a concrete room with a chair and spotlight. after each item she ended with that's why your warranty was voided. first tie rod end wasn't done I explained it was than well you didn't replace the sway bar link. I informed her it was new you could see on the car. She said well I'm just reading the paper. than says well you have to do an alignment you didn't so that's why. I told here it was done looks up and ask well where did you do that. I told her exactly where. Than she says well you did not rotate the tires that's why I explained to her I do them myself. she looks up and says. Why would you do that. I than continued to defend myself and explain I work 2 jobs this place is half an hour away and takes about an hour to do. Its easier to do my own. She than looks back at the list and says front and rear shocks were recommended to be replaced because they look original and they are to be replaced every 50k miles based on oem recommendations..At that point I said fine and just left. When I got home I looked through my owners manual and there was no recommendation to replace shocks or struts because of years or mileage Not that it should be a problem I figured I caught an employee on a bad day and that was why I got such an attitude so I went to the website to find out who the manager was to talk to them only to find out that she was the manager. At that point It felt like a waste of time. so I called there service line they apologized and said that an area manager would contact me after not hearing anything after about 3-4 days I called back and asked the turn around time I believe they said 48 to 72 hours needless to say 7 days after my first call I got a voicemail I Called it back and left a message never heard from again. I called corp back they again apologized and said the would reach out to the am and have them contact me. 'that never happened. Icing on the cake I guess the store manager didn't make notes because she called my wife left a message said she saw that we were in and they rec new tires was wondering if we got them yet because they have some really good specials on tires right now. IF they spent half there effort taking care of there currant customers maybe they wouldn't have to spend so much to get new ones. read more

I will start by saying that customer service is a priority for these guys and they take pride in their work. I called tonight at 7:55pm which is 5 minutes before they close and due to leaving early in the morning for a business trip, Anthony (Mgr) said to bring my car in and they would balance the tires for me. I had a weight fall off that would have prevented me leaving on time tomorrow and I cannot thank them enough for staying an extra 45-minutes! Great group and this isn't the first time I have stopped to get work done up there. read more

The car was making a noise so they informed me about what the problem was, didn't attempt to sell me anything, but made a genuine suggestion/recommendation that we change the tires in the next year or two. I left feeling reassured and felt I could trust them. Will definitely go back. read more

He was great at customer service - knew my name when I walked in the door, kept it simple, promptly answered questions and made recommendations without annoyingly pushy sales tactics, and diligently pursued matters with patience. Have had multiple good experiences at this store, and have been to competitors in the area, and this store is hands down the best for both good service and great value. Went to Tire Discounter last year to buy new tires for my jeep. Bought four wheels and the they did the tire alignment mount and balance. Had to go back because they didn't do the alignment right. Went and waited for 3 hours before I could get back in. Then went back again because they didn't get the steering wheel straight. I just went down a few weeks ago to have them balanced and they did 3 of them the fourth one they said they couldn't get the lug nut off. So after they took a chisel to try and get the lug nut off and ruined my wheel they proceeded to tell me that I would have to buy a new wheel at cost. Don't ever go to these guys because they ruin your shit and then expect you to pay for it....... Just an FYI.....dont ever use a chisel on your wheel.....DAM IDIOTS!!!!!! read more

I went to Tire Discounters to get 4 new tires put on my car. The wait was pretty much what I expected, about an hour and 20 minutes. As soon as I left and got on the freeway, I got a terrible vibration -so bad that I had to drop down to 50 mph as a safety precaution. I called the store while on the road and informed the guy who I'd dealt with at the counter. He said everyone had left for the night and that he'd that set me up for 7 am the next morning. I repeated the time back to him and said I'd be in then. The next morning rolls around and I show up at 7 am. The store doesn't open until 7:30. Now even more of my time has been wasted. Once someone showed up, I went in and expressed my frustration that I was given an appointment time that did not exist. She did not seem to care and then told me she would have me out around 10 or 11 am. I told her this was completely unacceptable and that I wasn't even supposed to be here in the first place. She said she assumed I was leaving my car because I had someone meet me to go grab some breakfast rather than sitting in the uncomfortable waiting area. I said I was getting some food and would be back in an hour. She got snippy with me and then agreed to have it done as soon as they could. I got back in about an hour and waited about another 20 minutes, the same as the night before. When the vehicle was finished, I asked what the problem was and she said the tires were not balanced because they used the wrong cone or something to that effect. For a business whose entire model is based on tire service, this was completely ridiculous. I would have been better off at Walmart. I'll never be back and will encourage everyone I know to avoid Tire Discounters. I suggest you do the same. read more

As I drove out of work one day in February my car started making funny noises. I took it to the nearest place, which happened to be the Tire Discounters on Gemini. Everyone was very nice; however they were not very competent. Each week they told me they fixed it, and each week it was still having problems. I spent almost every Saturday there for about 2 months. I'm new to the area, and I don't know a lot of people, so I had to drop it off and wait. Plus I was working overtime at work, but instead of getting the things done that I needed to do, I spend all my weekends at tire discounters. First they told me it was the sparkplugs, then the coils, and then other things. They did replace everything for free after the initial payment that was over 1,000; however each time they told me they fixed it and yet it wasn't. Then the manager stopped returning my calls. I ended up having to take it to the dealership and spend over $500 there. Apparently they didn't even have the skill set to fix the problem, but instead of telling me they just wasted my time. I contacted the regional manager, Adam Holiday, and he was very nice and said that he would reimburse me for the money I spend at the dealership. He said the store manager, Dave, would call me in the next few days. I never got a call from Dave or any money reimbursed. After several weeks passed I called Adam again, he said he would get it taken care of. Yet I still don't have a reimbursement nor has anyone called me. I called the regional office last week, and they took my number and said they would call me back by the end of the day. They didn't. I called 2 more times last week, and I still haven't heard back from them. They even confirmed my phone number, so I suspect they are screening my calls. My next step is to contact the Better Business Bureau and my Attorney General. The original problem happened in February and it is now June 20th. The reimbursement was promised to me about 6 weeks ago. That is way too long for this problem not to be resolved, and it's unacceptable not to be calling me back to fix the problem or giving me a reimbursement. read more

if i could give no stars i absolutely would. these stores treat their customers with no respect, when you come in with cash in hand they will act as if they have the best customer service around that is until you come back for services you have already paid for then cash is king and you cant get in. i have made several appointments and have been asked to come back after being made to sit and wait sometimes over an hour. you cant even get the air in a timely fashion when it is needed......i bought four new tires from them with 50000 mile warranty (tire discounters will only cover a 40000 warranty) they only completed one tire rotation and even misaligned the vehicle, they claim to have a.s.e certified mechanics but it was a high school kid working on my vehicle to put the tires on...... now my tires have worn prematurely and they are refusing to back the warranty i have 21,000 miles that should be left on my tires and the fronts are bald due to a bad alignment. now i'm stuck purchasing 4 new tires now 2-3 years early. there are way better tire places out there, i thought i had found a great tire shop but found a nightmare, beware of the wolf in sheep clothing and weary of those bearing gifts........what a rip off i work hard for my money which i am sure you do too, save yourself the aggravation and find any other tire shop... these guys make promises they wont keep and they know it up front, your the unsuspecting customer......they just told me on the phone as well after i complained about not getting in even with an appointment and i was told that was a courtesy to them so they know how their days will be and not an appointment to get you in at that time, im sure fleet guys will love that beware go elsewhere............you have been warned firestone n.t.b. goodyear are all much much better and wont promise you things they never intend to do......... read more
