Been going to Firestone for decades, and generally have had a very good luck with their repairs and their tires. Honest, professional, skilled. This was a new location for me. Turns out some of the staff from the one I generally go to have transferred up here. (A good sign that they are staying with the company.) Had some preventive maintenance done. It was done far more quickly than I expected, and they fixed another small problem I had mentioned. Always better to stay on top of things than to fix them after they break. Would not recommend this location. They are only trying to get you to spend money on services that you do not need. Our journey started with a check engine light, took our suv to the dealer and they replaced a transmission sensor switch. Then gave us a list of additional items such as replacing the front and back brakes/rotors, replacing the left and right steering tie rod ends, replace left and right lower control arms, Automatic trans fluid exchange, power steering fluid exchange, brake system fluid exchange, replace cabin filter, replace air filter and alignment for a total of $6000. We took that list from the dealer to our normal mechanic on Saturday and he did all the work at a lower cost. We then scheduled for an alignment at this Firestone location since we purchased the Lifetime alignment when our son worked at Firestone back in 2020. When we went back to pick up our vehicle the guy started off saying the VIN number on our suv did not match what was in the system which I know is BS considering our son and his manager originally input our vehicle information. And our suv has been there prior times for alignments. More than likely he was just trying to get us to pay for the "Lifetime Alignment" again. Then the guy tried telling us that the tie rods needed to be replaced and it was going to cost $1300 - Um, What? We had just had them replaced the day before by an ASE certified mechanic. He just couldn't do the alignment as his shop does not have the equipment for it yet. We ended up leaving and while driving home we noticed that the steering wheel is not lined up and now sits turned to the left. I have no idea what they did to it and now need to go somewhere else to fix what they did. Our mechanic called the location and spoke to the guy about the tie rods and they quickly back-peddled on what they had originally told us. It's even more funny as our mechanic even has pictures of the work they did with the new tie rods. It truly was about taking advantage of their customers versus doing what was right. Front left drivers side was making noise. They ended up breaking repairs down into 2 visits. Got new struts, shocks and sway bar. $2k later and the car is back for 5 days and has to have a bolt back on the back shocks, a new strut on front basically redo what was done...and not the reason I initially went there for. Still no car and not fixed. Worse shape than when i went there. read more

I call two Firestone looking for Donny who used to be at Sunbury Rd, Firestone. I found him at this location, and I drove to have him look at my car which needed two front tires. Donny is the man. I was in and out and as also ways had an amazing experience, Customer service was top notch, Value of my tires was worth it. The Store was clear. read more

Overall bad experience. Vehicle wasn't completed on time. It ended up being 3 days later than originally told. Pretty minor repair so no real reason for delay. Probably 10 phone calls trying to make sure they understood the urgency, and to make sure sure they had what they needed to get the project moving forward. Seemed very disorganized and the staff needed more training on proper computer system processes. read more

I've had my vehicle serviced here several times over the last 5+ years and it's always been a very positive experience. This week I used the Firestone App on a Friday to make a Saturday appointment for a wheel alignment and received the confirmation from the Orion Place location in no time at all. I dropped off my vehicle at 7:00am Saturday morning and was greeted by Barry who had a great attitude, especially that early in the morning! He checked me in quickly and told me the alignment should be done by noon without a problem. This location has a waiting room with complimentary coffee and TV. It's also located close to a McD's and Steak N Shake in case you rather wait there while your vehicle is serviced. Picked up my vehicle and Barry provided me with all the paperwork and clearly explained to me where the alignment was out and had to be adjusted. Another pleasant service experience! read more

I agree with all of the One-star reviews. I wish I had read the reviews before I had my front-end brake work done. They are good for buying tires but forget about the major work to be done. Although work was done on my car two years ago. The problem is never solved and they do not want to honor the warranty I paid for. I should have checked here first. read more

Went there for an oil change and a drain plug replacement (something some mechanics do for free with an oil change) they charged me $120. $80 for the DRAIN PLUG and the rest for the oil change but drain plugs are $5. Total crooks please avoid. read more

Needed a tire repaired from a drywall screw my friend ran over. But we couldn't get the wheel off the car due to the last time it was service it was over tightened. So we got as much air in it as possible and drive it a few miles up the street to firestone. It was 30 minutes before closing, But all we wanted to do was drop the wheel off and pick it up the next day. We asked if they could removed the wheel and install the spare for her. The man we talked to immediately got a negative look on his face... exhaled loudly... and said..... "yeah..... we are kinda busy, what is it you want done?" Again.... we said.... we cant get the wheel off the car, the lugs are too tight. We just need it removed, spare installed, and then can pick up the repaired tire at any time the next day. His reply.. "Sorry, not gonna happen today, too many cars in front of ya." We said....ok then. And went across the street to Mr. Tire where they were equally as busy....BUT they took amazing care of us and actually got the car in and the tire repaired for us in less than 20 minutes! 1 customer lost is a customer gained across the street. read more

The customer service was exceptional! Bob and Barry were very good about helping me out during a busy day. They even went as far as to create a new Voyager account for me as I had to pay with that because of using a state vehicle. Great experience. I made an oil change appointment online and dropped my car off at 8 am on a work day. The check-in was pleasant; I advised I had a coupon and I was given the cost for the service, which was far cheaper than other places. Although I was just dropping off, I saw that the wait area looked clean, with a kid table/chairs and books, tv, and coffee station. I then walked the short distance to work (which was the reason I chose this location). A little while later I received the phone call that my brake light was out (I knew this) and they offered to replace for $14.99. I said heck, yes. Two hours after I dropped it off, I got the call my car was ready for pick up. I walked back over and checked out. Easy, convenient, less expensive than expected, and I got some exercise to boot. I've visited this Firestone Center twice, one time a few years ago, and then just this past weekend. I had great service both times, but especially this time. I had the same service done on my vehicle, about two years ago, at a different store. The service advisor suggested I call the past shop to see if there was a warranty. The warranty had run out and I had the service done. They actually did the service for less than what I paid, almost 2 years ago with a coupon, at the other shop. read more

Would give negative stars if I could. Awful experience, 3 times straight. This past time, my brakes went out. Firestone "fixed" the brakes after 1.5 days. I picked up my car. 4 hours later, I was getting my car towed by AAA because the brakes got locked in emergency brake mode. When I got it "fixed" AGAIN the next day, I walked in and the guy said "no charge this time sweetie". Cute that they thought I would ever pay them a dime for screwing up. Keep in mind, I had to call off work 2 days in a row because I didn't have a car to drive to my office (my job is 100% commissions) AND I almost missed my best friend's wedding because I struggled finding someone else's car to drive to the out-of-town wedding. 2 days later, my emergency brake was crazy loose. I finally took it to AAA to get it fixed properly. To top it off, they of course tried to get me to get more unnecessary work done on my car. They tried charging me $850 for a timing belt of which I do not need for another 60K miles. The last time I got a timing belt, I got it done at a mom and pop shop---they charged me $320. I cannot afford the time and money Firestone continues to steal from me. I will not be back. Ever. read more

If you love your car, go elsewhere. When I dropped off my car I worked with someone who was incredibly pleasant and helpful, he was excellent. Dropped my car off for a tire balance and rotation, and while I was at it, an oil change. He gave me a pick up time for the next day and a reasonable estimate, and was friendly and helpful. I arrived the next day three hours after my promised time. After the person working (a different man than I dropped off to) looked all over for my key and estimate, he found it still in the garage. I was then told because my car was a manual and someone called off, my car wasn't worked on. No call. No email or anything. Nothing. My car sat outside of a mechanic's shop all day, with no activity, because no one in that shop was capable to drive a manual car into the shop bay. Let that sink in for a minute. That in itself is bad enough, but then to not get a call or update all day on this is purely and completely unacceptable. Save yourself the headache and visit literally any other shop. This lack of service could leave you stranded and screwed without your car when promised and no communication. Take your car to a shop with capable mechanics for the most basic of services. Do NOT trust this shop. Unbelievable. read more

Based on Firestone's response to this review, I decided to let them try to rectify the situation. It took several weeks (and a number emails) for someone to finally call me, as they promised to do. However, once they did, Barry, the manager at this location, rolled out the red carpet and resolved everything for me. The tie rod ends were replaced under warranty (apparently they have a lifetime warranty on suspension work) and as a show of good faith, he remedied the situation with the worn tires. I am completely satisfied with my experience there and appreciated the mea culpa. read more

Firestone refused to replace my flat trailer tire because they aren't allowed to take it off my trailer if have to take it off myself and bring it to them. Highly don't recommend. read more

I took my car here after going to Tire discounters and my car dealership to get my headlight replaced. They told me i needed a whole new headlight assembly $700+. I'm so glad I brought it to Firestone because they told me that there was just a connector that needed to be replaced. They literally saved me hundreds of dollars. I also couldn't have had a better customer service experience. Everyone was so friendly, the service was fast, and they are open on Sundays! read more

brakes are important, you can die if you fail and firestone did not care and told me to come back another day. this week I paid $ 650.00 to solve a problem in the right rear wheel brakes in a part that costs 29.90. two days went by and there was a strange noise on the rear brakes, I went to solve it today because tomorrow 10/20/2018 I need to travel, they refused to solve my problem because it was 6:00 pm and they sent me back another day. I had to dismantle my car in front of the store and in the rain to try to solve the problem ... terrible service, a job that would take 2 hours waiting for pieces that came from another store left me waiting all day. my car came in at 8:00 am and left 4:00 pm, inside the workshop a lot of talk and wasted time stopping work on my car and freeing others up front maybe to justify the high value of the invoice for a simple job. They got me in that same day, no wait, we're very helpful, friendly and professional. If I lived here I would be a customer for life. I took my car in for an alignment. This Firestone stated that they could not perform my alignment claiming that I needed new tie rods. I took my vehicle to another Firestone location that performed my alignment with no issues at all and did not try to up-charge me for services not needed. I would not suggest that anyone go to this Firestone ever because they are not trustworthy and you will run the chance of being taken advantage of and spending your money on unneeded repairs. read more

Manager Robert was the best. We picked up our daughter from college and on the way home she discovered that the muffler was loud. We stayed in Columbus overnight and pulled into the Firestone store in the morning. After an inspection Robert said he could not get the part but told me how it should be repaired when we get back in Cleveland to save me money. Then he did he unexpected by calling a local mad hatter shop and got me in for a quick repair that day saving me much time and money. After several negative experiences across the street with Mr. Tire - I gave a small tire repair to Firestone. Honestly I was a little nervous that they might not try to repair my tire and would push me toward replacement, but they were honest. I had used Fix a Flat to get by until I could get it repaired. They told me that's not a great idea because of what Fix a Flat does to the tire surface for repairs, but they made it work, the repair has held and they charged $10 less for the whole thing - with no hassles - and I was out the door in about 40 minutes. Reasonable and honest. I will try these folks again when the need arises. read more

My cousin was leaving for Afghanistan and our brakes went out on our van during our final trip with him to the lake. The manager and the employees took time off their lunch to replace the brake lines fast and efficiently.
