We stopped off exit 80 and I searched for/found the number for Mobile Mechanic Svcs 45 mins away. I called Mark to see if he could help and where we could meet him. He told us to stay put and he would make the drive to us. He replaced the coil and after we paid him I mentioned that I always try to look at situations like this as a "Divine Intervention" and truly believe that we must've been spared something far more difficult. What happened next had (and still has) me in tears. Mark asked my husband and I if we would like to pray together. He proceeded to say the most beautiful, heartfelt prayer...to bless us and keep us safe on our journey and in life. Breaking down in an RV is definitely some First World problems. Thank you God for sending Mark to us today.

I've had great service from him the few times I've needed work done. Yesterday he really was…read moreamazing. I know I needed brake pads soon as they were down to 1/16" so I left him a msg. the night before that I was going to the airport next week and would love to get them done before that long ride in traffic. he said he'd get it done before then. Yesterday around 4:45 he called me and asked what kind of car I had and I told him and asked how soon he could do it, He asked if I'd want to bring it to his house and said when. He said asap, I said I'll be there in 15 minutes. I pullled into his driveway and he had tools, a jack and a chair for me to sit on while he worked. He did it fast, checked under the hood, and showed me my battery needed to be replaced and he'd go with ne to get it. We went, he changed it and went back to his house and he checked it, alternator, etc., filled my resavoir with water and sprayed lube underneath where a bushing was squeaking. When I left there it felt like it was brand new and he even messaged me to make sure I got home ok. I will use him for anything that comes up as he's honest, reasonable, dedicated, through, does more than he has to or that's expected. He came over at 9 p.m. the first time I called him as my wife's AC "still wasn't working" after she paid another shop $400 to change the fan. It turns out she has a lot of stress with family members dying and just wasn't pushing the right buttons. He didn't want to take any money but I gave him some for his time. He could've ripped her off if he'd wanted to and she'd never known the difference. He's one in a million these days!

I didn't know what was wrong with my car really. It was making a weird sound and I thought I had an idea, but wasn't sure. Bud at ponchatoula automotive was kind and honest. I'm a 26 year old girl and i am sometimes taken advantage of at mechanics, but bud didn't. He said he would charge 45 bucks to check out the car and then let me know what was wrong and an estimate. He called and turns out the awful noise was a simple fix with my heat shields around my exhaust. He only charged me the 45 bucks total because he just adjusted them/took rocks out. I can't guarantee your car stuff will be as easy of a fix.... but this showed me Bud's integrity, as I am a young, out-of-towner who knows nothing about cars... and he treated me fairly and with honesty.
