I have called them while doing my accounting reports at work, at home while cooking, cleaning the house, have them on speaker phone... Please continue to hold, your call is important to us.... If your vehicle gets damaged the claim is through Monro, not Tire choice and it's some number in outer galaxy. Trash store, inexperienced techs, if you support minimum wage, go ahead, that's what you will get, minimum wage disgruntled service and for the cherry on top, damage your car and not pay for it. I'm really saddened by the rude counter attendant. She absolutely tried being as rude as possible. I was going to shop for tires while there and then she says "I need you to sign this" and I'm not the only one there so I just look her direction and she points at me and says "you"...my name was on the paper in her hand but she preferred being a rude snarky person. Strike one. Then I see the up charge of $45 for one more quart of oil and "fees" and ask about the price increase - she says "what do you mean" as if would be talking about anything other than the document in front of me. Strike two. She proceeds to tell me that my car uses more than 5 quarts of oil as if that explains $45 increase. I replied yes it uses 6 so what's the price increase for? She says "I don't know man I just work here" ... like my question was too much pressure. So then she said "that's why I didn't scan your voucher" ... so she's used to this reaction and the Groupon is a scam because as she stated "the up charge is in small print". Strike three. I don't give business to places who intentionally set their customers up. Bad news. I've been a consumer for six decades and when they treat you like you're bothering them and then they try to scam you - don't give them your business. It will catch up with them soon enough. I have a big circle and so do other local consumers. Valvoline keeps their prices up front and honest. PLUS THAT COUNTER GAL WAS SO UNNECESSARILY RUDE. UGH! Alton IL location is not a place to get anything fixed or replaced. Bought 4 new tires, all had balance issues and alignment was messed up. After 3 attempts to fix in Alton (three days in a row, 2+ hours each day), I finally went to the Edwardsville IL location. They fixed everything correctly the first time. I will travel the extra 25 miles to Edwardsville location for the rest of my rotations. I will never step foot in the Alton store again, and neither should you. read more

All is well once again. After I posted the review about my experience with TireChoice in Alton Illinois, TireChoice customer service contacted me that evening and gave me a solution to my problem. Although I could not get the problem resolved at the Alton store, they directed me to one of their stores in Overland Missouri which is about a half an hour from my home. The store manager listened to my problem, looked at my paperwork and said: No problem Mr. Zimmer, i'm sorry for the service that you have recieved so far, but I can take care of this for you. Although he had a problem locating all of the parts since it was a 20 year old vehicle, but he called the next week and said, it's all finished. I got there, paid for the labor and an oil change which I requested and was given the keys to my freshly washed car and drove happily home. So, please realize that everyone can make a mistake, but it is how they handle the solution is what shows the quality and care of customer service that this group has. High value and top quality! TireChoice is once again my top, go-to mechanic group for my car and you should be able to trust in this group and know that they have a top-notch service and quality support team that will take care of all of your automotive needs. I used to use this shop all the time for all of my cars. Apparently they have new store management which I was unaware of when I took my car in. I took my BMW in to have a slow leak fixed in the left front tire. After working on it for several minutes they come out and tell me that they can't get one of the Lugnuts off as I t was over tightened by whoever worked on other last. If you don't know, that's the oldest BS line used by automotive shops. The woman explained that they tried everything. She tried to get it off. The technicians tried to get it off, but they could not. She gave me a card for a free tire repair if I could get someone to get the lug off. I have another car, so I drove home and parked the car in the garage. Yesterday I went out to attempt to get the lug nut off myself and found that they had stripped it. I know the tire choice stripped it because I had my wheels done over the summer and checked all the Lugnuts myself once I got my car back from the shop that did my wheels. Not once did the manager mention that they stripped the Lugnut in an attempt to get it off! I will never use tire choice again due to the lack of integrity. The woman working there is Staci Devening, the assistant manager, who also in my opinion lacks integrity. I didn't go back to argue with them because I have been through that crap before and it's not worth the effort. It's great the way the company Monroe responded to my text with an 800 number to call. I called the number and there was no option 6 to choose from. I left a voice message so we'll see how this goes. At any rate I'm done. read more

We have been going to Auto Tire in Alton, IL for years with all 5 of our cars. That has stopped today. The last couple of times I have called to make an appointment the "manager" Kaulid has rushed me off the phone and says 'just drop it off'. I have to insist to make an appointment so that my time is not wasted waiting on an oil change or simple maintenance. I called to make an appointment for a follow up alignment (because my car is already out of alignment since my last one done by auto tire 2 1/2 months ago). He told me to drop it off. I dropped it off at 11:30 am - he told me it would be three hours - that would make it 2:30 or 3pm. I called at 4:15 to see if it was done and they hadn't even touched it! In addition to all of this frustration, I showed him how the outer wall of the tire had worn because of the alignment (that was still covered because it had been less than 6 months since they did the last one). He proceeded to walk around and look at all four of my tires and told me that I need new tires immediately and not to waste my time on an alignment. I just had the oil changed at the dealership a couple of weeks ago (because of the bad customer service here) and they said all of the tires looked good except the one that was wearing poorly. I told him I wasn't looking to buy new tires and to do just to the alignment. He was beyond rude after that. It's obvious that the management has changed and they don't give a crap about their customers or the service they provide. We will be taking our business elsewhere. read more

I went in to have some tires removed from rims due to warranty replacement. Made an appointment and brought the wheels in. Was told, "Our tire machine is very old and it could scratch your rims." I told him that they were the ones who installed the tires in the first place. His reply was a very reluctant, "I'll do my best." I couldn't have the work done now due to the lack of trust established by the employee. I won't be going back to a tire center that's using a "very old machine" that'll likely scratch your rims. read more

I used to frequent this establishment, never cared about the long wait times because Dustin was always friendly. After the service I received by the owner, I will never return. I spent over a thousand dollars and my car still isn't fixed, it actually has a new problem that he insists is not his fault. I have in the past brought my car to Autotire and the service in the past for me was great. I changed my mind about this business on April 22,2019.I came in brought my car and the guys put some coolant in my car and told me there was nothing they can do for me. I was also told that my car would not start. They did not even check it out. So i left them and went to Ntb . I was told immediately that my radiator and coolant fan went out. Poor business Autotire. I've been a long time customer of Auto Tire in Alton,Il. I went in for routine oil change and was treated extremely rude by the gentleman behind the counter. Handed him the coupon that I received in the mail from them and he flung it like a frisbee toward a desk in an agressive manner. I thought maybe he's having a bad day, but his temperament went from bad to worse. He proceeded to inform me he wouldn't drive my car across the street with the lousy tires I had on it. He advised they're ready to blow out and I needed to buy tires immediately! When I explained I'm not ready right now to buy tires he got even more rude! I took my car to 2 other tire dealers that same day and found out the information he had given me was false. Tires are not ready to blow and still had significant tread. TALK ABOUT DECEPTIVE PRACTICES TO ENHANCE SALES!!! I, along with my family and many of my friends will no longer do business Auto Tire! read more
