I am not sure how long they have been in business, but business is their number 1 priority. My car started making a rattling noise on Sunday. I pulled into the lot at Ursch and turned off the engine because it was so loud. I walked into the shop, I was greeted quickly by Jim, the owner. I told him I had a rattle in my car, he grabbed his coat and we headed outside. He laughed the minute I started that car. He assured me that my car was safe to drive, but that he could not work on it until Thursday. I arrived early on Thursday, gave him my keys and he dropped me off at work. My 10:30 I had a phone call from Jim, telling me it was fixed and it was minor. He only charged me $20....seriously. I told him I felt I owed him more, he assured me $20 was enough. Being a female we hate car repairs and car repair shops. I will definitely be back to his place....

Top notch service. Above and beyond. Friendly service…read more Getting rear-ended is never how I wanted to start my day. However, the service and care I received from Freer was beyond expectations. I went to 3 other local shops for a quote and no one took care of me the way Freer did. Called the insurance of the person who hit me to get me answers, helped adjust my bumper before I left their lot to make it a bit better for me to drive (without me even asking, might I add). They used Carwise which texted me updates on timeline and estimates. Called me and coordinated with insurance/rental car like no other. My repair ended up taking about a week longer than expected. More damage was found but it was clearly communicated to me that it was possible, and they gave me an update each step. They even had an after hours pick up which worked perfect for my schedule. Left me a card and a beautiful rose (such as kind touch). My car was clean and shiny on the outside (sad it won't last long due to all the snow and salt) with the inside vacuumed and smelling great! Truly can't recommend Freer enough. Kind, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and truly excellent service. I will trust Freer with all auto body repairs going forward!

Lucky for me, I have insurance and Freer is in my hometown. When I made a claim with my insurance agent, she told me that Freer was one of the repair shops that was highly approved by my insurer. From the time I took my Rav4 in for an estimate to the final work, I was totally impressed with the customer service and professionalism of the entire staff. On the day I dropped my SUV off to begin the work, they gave me a time frame for when it would be completed. When they started work, the found some additional damage underneath and called to let me know they'd need an extra day. I also, received periodic text messages keeping me up to date of the progress. When all the work was completed, I was notified and they reminded me they do not take debit or credit cards. They are strictly cash or check only. Good thing I keep a book of checks on hand, I rarely write one anymore. To my surprise, when I picked my Rav4 up, they had washed and vacuumed the inside.What a nice touch. Since I had the body damage, I couldn't go through a car wash and Reggie (my name for my Rav4) was in serious need of a bath. The ladies who work the front desk, deserve a big shout out, too. They are friendly, charming, helpful and professional. When I paid my at check-out, I was handed a detailed statement, a thank-you card in cursive writing and a long stemmed rose. That is a nice touch. I hope you never need auto body work done on your ride, but if you do, I highly recommend, Freer Auto Body.

Just an oil change. I look at the report and there are items checked about dash lights being on. Lights that weren't on when I brought the car in. He explained his brake situation to them. They got right on it. The mechanic got in the car and said, "a stick shift! Cool!" He is still working on the car as I type this, doing a good job. He checked both front brakes too and said they are fine. The employees are smart and kind. They have a restroom for the public. It needs a professional cleaning. It's bad. Not horrendous, but definitely bad. It also needs a hook for a woman to hang her purse. Downsides to this business - easily fixable by the owner once they read my review: Public restroom needs a thorough cleaning and at least weekly upkeep cleaning. It also needs a hook for a woman to hang her handbag. The left side of the building needs some benches in addition to the one in front. The sun is burning my feet as I wait and there is very little shade outside. Also, inside the building is hot. There is a fan there, but there really isn't air flow. It's a nice day today & windy, but you can't feel it inside while waiting. So I am opting to sit on the street next to the building in the shade.

They did additional work that wasn't authorized by me to do, thus padding the bill!!! What a joke! Lied too, misled and taken advantage of. Never again here! These people have a lot to learn about how to keep customers coming back!
