What was so good? - I felt like I was working with an old friend, that didn't apply a single amount of pressure to buy. - They genuinely wanted to put me on the right bike for the right price! - I'm from Missouri and they sent all of the needed paperwork in less than a week. All of it was nicely organized for me to take to the DMV. Which I had no issues with when I went to get my plates. - I needed to pick the bike up a few days after test riding it. I secured a hold on the bike with a hand shake. No deposits, no first born child, nothing. I enjoyed the old school approach. - Everything was ready when I went to pick it up! I am currently suing him in small claims which has been a joke within itself but the courts have nothing to do with how much of a bum this man is! he does horrible work on the cars he does work on and is somehow able to con people out of their money and either never fix their car or does a horrible job! After over 10 hours of driving back and forth from San Diego and $350 worth of fuel, we were turned away. First of all, the floor manager that approves all cars coming in was off that day, but they still had us make the drive assuring us it was all approved. Then when we got there, it was an hour or more of texting back and forth from the on-site salesperson to the floor manager who is gone on personal business. We were told the only way they would take the car is if we dropped the price $11,000 from what they already agreed to put it on their floor at. A colossal waste of time! I reached out to management at the Illinois location and two days later still no response, clearly they don't care. I have a total of five cars I was planning on selling through them, don't see that happening now. It's crazy that I have a complete email chain from the sales rep guaranteeing they would take my car in and at the price they agreed to, and then to lie to us and turn us away after 5+ hours each way, I don't know how they can operate like that without feeling any guilt.
