I reached out to a few different mechanics looking for quotes on some work I was needing done on my 2004 Mini Cooper, a car, I learned, not many mechanics are willing to work on. Those that do work on them know they are among a select few that can and they exploit that fact by charging you an arm and a leg. I was pleased with the very fair estimate that I received from Remington tires and made the trip out to see them. While going over my car I was called and informed that the work I asked them to do was not required, instead I needed a separate part. I asked them if they could still take care of it and they did. They were even able to keep the cost (aside from the higher price of a caliper vs rotor) the same as they quoted me. On top of that, they informed me of another, potentially dangerous, issue I have with the car that needs attention. They were generally concerned for my safety, so much so, they even offered me a ride back to the city if I wanted to leave it with them. Needless to say at this point, I will absolutely be returning to Remington Tires for any and all of my auto needs. You should definitely bring them your business, you won't regret it!

The guy installing them did not pay attention that they were directional and mounted them backwards. I mentioned it to the lady that was directing customers and she put me back to the end of the waiting list. I was SOOOOOO PISSED I couldn't see straight. I don't think Willie was there at the time because I would have talked to him. The lady has a nasty attitude and is not beneficial to his business. On the ride home I noticed a noise under my car…read more The next day my tire was leaking air and eventually went completely flat and I couldn't air it up as the valve stem was leaking. I was left in a gas station parking lot to change my tire and put on the spare. The next day I went to the dealership and had them check the tire and figure out what was making the noise. They told me the valve stem was leaking and that 9 pins that hold up the engine splash guard were missing. The only time that splash guard has been removed was at this location. I spoke to Valvoline customer care and they assured me they would make it right and would talk to the manager of the location to see what could be done. I get a call a few hours later and it is Valvoline customer care and the manager of the location. She claimed they did everything right and they weren't going to reimburse me the $140 to get the valve stem fixed and the 9 missing pins replaced. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.
