When we searched tire repair in the area we were four miles away from Aljets and decided to stop and see if they could help us. The staff was exceedingly friendly, informative, and quick. They immediately took our truck back and within 45 minutes had found a very small hole in the tire, patched it, and had us back on the road. On top of that they did not overcharge us or charge a fee for getting us in so quickly. We couldn't be more grateful knowing we're safe to continue our drive, and still going to get to our destination in time for our appointments. We stopped for fuel and snacks in Vandalia, when we noticed the wheel bearing on the left side had gone out. It was a nightmare since it's Sunday and really hard to find a mechanic anywhere. Plus we needed both tires replaced since it was worn to the nylon on the bad side passed the tread. Lindsey called Elliot's and we were told to bring it in and have a mechanic look at it. Long story short, Dale Craig was a life saver! After a quick scolding for driving there with the trailer in that condition, he methodically replaced the wheel bearing, swapped out the two tires, and boom we're back on the road. Dale is a skilled mechanic. Someone give him a raise! If you're driving through, and your trailer needs work then I highly recommend Dale over at Elliot truck & tire repair!

He answered my questions with respect. He gave me options. As I was talking to him, he was texting his worker and arranging for him to go help my sister. I was able to pay over the phone for any service she needed. My sister later explained that the worker brought his fiancé. She called a few hotels and negotiated a lower rate for my sister, asked my sister where she wanted to stay, and then called and reserved the room for her. The next morning, they got to work on my sister's car right away. They were in communication with her about the progress. Steve called me as I had asked to take care of the bill and again, I was able to pay over the phone. He was getting ready to bring the car to my sister at her hotel. I explained about his worker bringing his fiancé and how much I appreciated that. He said, "yep, that was on purpose. we have moms, aunts, sisters, and nieces. we know what they go through and we try to be aware of what will help a single woman be more comfortable." I recommend this place to the highest degree possible.
