Even though they probably don't make the tater tots (they were exactly like Ore-Ida) these were as perfect as it gets. They were cooked exactly right and I love my tots. They were crispy on the outside, not dry inside and you could tell the oil was clean and the fryer was at the right temperature. I wanted to try the Fletcher's Hefeweizen but it was out. There were 3 beers out of ~10 that were out. I got Blue Moon instead. Hubby got the Hazy IPA. Both beers were very good and fresh, chilled satisfyingly cold.I was given an orange in my Blue Moon without asking, always a good sign. With our confidence bolstered, we split the fish and chips. I expected the fish filet to be thicker, but realized this was haddock and not cod. The fish was fresh and the coating was cornmeal-based, not fluffy but nicely crunchy and tasty. The chips were just as they should be. Good dish, well-executed. Come to Fletcher's Pub and Brewery! More people would give it more of a party vibe, enhancing the already great food and beer experience.

The bartenders are quick to serve you and all manner of people were evident on my visit. I did have to pack my clothes in a laundry bag for the trip home and wash the smoke out of them. For the experience I'd do it again. While I visited on a Thursday night, I think any night it would be worth checking out this place.

The locals and the bartenders. We're very warm to us and made us feel welcomed. As noted, this is a local bar. But, for a retirement community where everything closes early, this place stays open till 2am and served drinks till at least 1am. Yes, per other reviews, this place gets a little smoky. For us, it wasn't that bad. And yes, young ones take over the juke box and there is some explicit music played...we didn't mind. Actually, we enjoyed. Lol. No food here. Not the cleanest place. Furniture is beaten up. But hey, where else you gonna go if you are in the area? So yeah, grab a seat, watch some sports, and enjoy your drink. We are staying at the Days Inn across the street, so we will definitely be back.
