If you have never had a dominican manicure or pedicure you must try. They do take long however they…read moreare meticulous with their service and your nails will be the cleanest they have ever been. Maria gave me my service and she was the only one working on a Sunday so it was super hard. I did a French almond manicure with acrylic and gel polish. It was great. I also got the volcano pedicure which came with a hot stone massage, paraffin and a clay mask. The space was clean and the staff spoke English and Spanish I will definitely go again.

And I sat patiently waiting for 10-15 minutes before anyone addressed me. When someone finally did acknowledge me I was met with a snarky remark that they thought I was with someone that was in the waiting area. I was not. I sat down next to the young man to wait and I can only assume he was there waiting on someone that was getting serviced at that time. Upon me actually finally getting serviced the nail tech stopped working on me to assist someone with their pedicure polish. I didn't have a problem with that, it was only when she came back and did not change her gloves to continue working on my feet. I advocated for myself and asked her could she change to new gloves. She snatched them off and seemed to be mad that I asked her to use sanitary and hygienic practices. But she still found time to greet and welcome a client that came through the door shortly afterwards. I asked her why she greeted her and not me. She told me that she had an appointment. She also said that I did not speak either when I walked through the door to justify her shortcomings as a staff member. But the irony is, the client she spoke to did exactly what I did when she walked through the door....came in and sat down. There was no true validity in her being unprofessional, condescending and insensitive towards me. I also asked do only people with appointments get greeted and she said no they take walk-ins. I said well why didn't you assume I was a walk in client then....she did not answer me. So there's no excuse besides the fact that they didn't think I was worthy of being greeted. However, she continues working on my feet and paints my toe nails. Upon completion I noticed that my left big toe polish was distorted looking. She told me that she couldn't fix it because it was just the way my nail/skin was and that it would bleed if she did. She didn't even attempt to fix it. Once she finished the service I paid and left. But after just one minute in my car, I decided to come back in because I couldn't stand looking at my nail in that state. I asked for someone else to rectify the situation since she refused to. I waited about 10 minutes. And someone approached me but not before she scoffed and said she didn't have time to be dealing with my mess today, that she has an appointment coming soon (told this to the original staff member who did my nails.) I said that was fine and i'd pay extra for whoever could fix it. The lady ended up fixing it free of charge, but the tension was high and it was a very uncomfortable and disheartening experience. I cannot believe they would treat a client this way. But it's a lesson learned! It was not my first time going there, but definitely my last! I'm learning to only frequent businesses that welcome me and want to service all walks of life as long as they are respectful and willing to pay for services. And that I was!

I visited the salon on 2.5.26, asked for a pedicure and a manicure. I wanted gel and French tips on…read moreboth. The place was crowded, felt cramped. I didn't like the towels in the window and on the floor. The pedicure technician did an amazing job. The foot soak was warm, she handled my feet with care and was very gentle . She removed the polish and added gel French tips. I had gel on my hands, but it had grown out a bit. The technician looked at my nails and said I didn't need any cuticle work- no manicure. They put foil and remover on my nails, and buffed off the old gel. While waiting to get started, I noticed some cuticle that needed to be removed, the technician David- sighed and looked around like he couldn't do it. Then mentioned- did you want to get a manicure? I said no, can you just remove this hanging piece? I could tell that he was put off by my request- hands on his hips / but he snipped it off for me. He painted , filed and completed my nails. When I got home and had more time, I realized that I didn't like them . They were thick, not smooth- too much polish causing them to bulge at the tips. I returned the next day- explained my concerns and basically was told " it's polish , this is how they should look". After repeating myself a few more times, they agreed to fix the ones that were bad. Their offer to repair wasn't genuine and they didn't offer a refund or a discount. They agreed only after I stated and restated- she literally tried to tell me that they were ok. I told them to just remove them . I was asked to return to David- he said nothing to me the entire time. He removed them and missed a few areas, which I pointed out. He addressed them but he wasn't pleasant- he sighed a let out loud breathing like I was bothering him. My overall experience at this shop wasn't a good one and they need to focus on their customer service skills. If you enlarge the photos, you can see the large build up on the tips. I won't return.
