She was friendly, gentle & knowledgeable about the facial I had booked. The spa was very well decorated, furnished, smelled pleasant & had a low volume, relaxing music going. I can not wait to book with Debbie again, and try their massage services.

I've been to this spa many times over the years & recently noticed the skin & hair care products. Upon checking in you get a private locker to put your belongings. Then you can go into the bathroom to change into a soft robe with slippers, which were clean & smelled really refreshing. Next, you can sit in the waiting area until your masseuse comes to escort you to the massage room. It was relaxing white noise playing with dim lighting. Megan did a great job on my deep tissue massage. She wasn't too rough & let me chill while asking if I needed anything. I was given a complimentary mimosa afterwards, which I drank in the dry sauna. As a mom of two toddlers, it was the decompression I needed to feel so refreshed for the rest of the week! Definitely recommend as a Valentine's Day gift.

There aren't a lot of places in Baton Rouge that handle threading. In an effort to clean up the…read morecurrent bushels of wisdom (#1) we call eyebrows, I settled for Just Stringz in a pinch. In hindsight, it was every bit as bad as advertised. The red flags were there: 1) It's in a mall 2) It's called "Just Stringz." 3) The place is empty (and the mall is crowded). 4) The stylist was on her phone. A lot. 5) The reviews. I can't emphasize the latter enough. Was I daring or just too empathetic? Maybe a little bit of both. The thread job was bad. While she went chatty kathy on me, she broke the thread more often than she cleaned up the brow. I've gotten to the point where I'm no longer feeling the pain, but the eyelids were stinging after a few swipes. It might be because it's been awhile, but I don't recall feeling this way in other spots. After pushing down my lids for dear life, the skin areas were red. There was even a small cut. I did manage to get a "sorry about that" mustered from her but the excuse was my hair was "tough" to remove. I'd like to think otherwise, but I haven't gotten that complaint before. I eventually got her to semi-even out the botched job (read: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/49/b5/b8/49b5b8982af9d061351da4e3e051c6d9.jpg) but I was way too uncomfortable with the chair and the overall experience to stomach more adjustments. When presented with the $12 bill, I just paid and left. Never thought I'd be happy to know my hair grows back quickly. __________ (#1) Don't take it from me: https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090608100432AASTgNm

Third times not even a charm…read more So, I liked Stringz because no appointment was necessary and now it's confirmed why appointments are very necessary. The first time was great. I think Zonda is her name. She was very fast and efficient. And the only one working. She had at least five folks lined up so I was hesitant to stay but she got to work. No small talk (which I love) and boom, done. The second time I went...meh. The girl was slow. And the only one working. Three people in line, took me an hour just to get in the chair. She did a good job, but the wait was a HUGE turn off. And maybe I'm pumping it up in my head but it kind of felt like she went extra slowed when she could feel people were getting impatient. Third time...well there was no third time. I rushed out there on a lunch break, the gate was halfway down with a sign that said "giving facial until 1:30". Well, it was 12:30 when I got there so I did not have time to wait...NO ONE ELSE WAS WORKING. I'm sensing a theme here. My second attempt at a third time was a couple days ago. After work. The gate was half way down. Sign up, "At lunch, will be back in an hour." I got there at 6pm. Again, and I assume, there was only ONE PERSON working. why would the only person on staff take an hour lunch??? Sorry, I can't put my eyebrows through that kind of hit and miss torture. Personal grooming is too serious to be taking a chance. The place has a good concept but poor execution. So I'm done.

I had work in Nola so came back on Tuesday before I headed to an event. The young man at the desk (not Kevin) said it would be about 45 mins until someone could assist me. I didn't have that kind of time so I left. I returned today just after they opened after attending a yoga class about 10 mins away. Today, Kevin told me it would be a 25 min wait. + time to be serviced....I sat in here last week for an extended amount of time I don't wanna sit here again that long - MOSTLY because I have places to be! And places I'd like to have out this $90+ tip pedicure shown off! Beyond inconvenienced and annoyed with this.

I already had the dip/SNS on my nails from a previous appointment, but my nail tech took it off so fast. Normally, the nails have to soak for what feels like forever, but not at this salon. This time, I went with a very light yellow. The color is perfect for back to school. She only dipped them twice, I would have loved a third dip to make it thicker, but they are still perfectly on my nails two weeks after my appointment. Extremely fast service, a beautiful salon, and great location means I will definitely be coming back. It was $50, which was expected.
