Came here for drinks they were strong and fruity! Did not try the food. Surprisingly a good cocktail spot near the beach!

They have a lunch special that runs until 3pm for $14.99 where you can order from a selection of apps and dishes, and some of the drinks were $1 off like the thai tea I had! The food was okay but not the best I've ever had. Crab rangoon as appetizers wasn't bad but was only filled with white cream cheese filling (nothing else), and the sweet and sour dipping sauce was runny. Green curry was a little spicy. It's been years since I've eaten green curry so perhaps I should've gone with my usual panang curry (but that wasn't an option for the lunch special). I plan to give this place another try and order panang curry next time! Didn't actually see sushi on the menu when I came during lunchtime.. The service was friendly and quick though. And it was a nice, warm, spacious place to have lunch.

My experience here was pretty disappointing overall, especially considering that this is one of the few Thai places in the area, but perhaps we just went here during an off night. The interior of the restaurant is very clean and modern--you will be quickly seated and we didn't have much of a wait. Unfortunately the chopsticks that they had provided (typical wooden chopsticks packaged in paper that you see at most Asian restaurants) had some strange black mold on them. The chopsticks were replaced but it put us off to a bad start with the food. The food overall felt under seasoned and didn't seem to taste up to par. The crab rangoons tasted of strange cheese, and the curry and the beef in the pad see ew just tasted off. I'm sure this place is good during most days but my food experience was below average overall.

Please do not trust the high ratings on this place. My friends and I were craving some sushi and Thai food so we decided to go here after seeing the high reviews. 1st red flag- staff weren't attentive at all. My friend was eating her appetizer when the waiter took her plate from her mid-bite. Making all of us feel rushed. While going over the menu we noticed there in fact was no sushi, so we played it safe by getting chicken teriyaki and crab rangoon. 2nd red flag- this had to be the strangest crab rangoon ever. It was filled with only cream cheese. I don't remember getting a single piece of crab in the three I had. 3rd red flag- the chicken teriyaki plate was honestly laughable. As soon as it came out I could tell it wasn't going to worth the high price of $18. The vegetables were raw, not seasoned, not even steamed, just cold to the touch. I personally wasn't expecting chicken slabs drenched in sauce. The chicken itself was hard to chew and got cold pretty fast. I was really disappointed with the quality of the food for the price I paid :( i could only eat 2 pieces of chicken before calling it quits and deciding to go to McDonald's afterwards since I left hungry. 4TH RED FLAG- after this horrendous meal the waiter comes around for us to pay. I noticed he was looking really long and hard at you as you put in the tip amount. Two of us tipped from the pressure of this man looking at the screen as we're paying. The other two did not tip because of the food quality and other factors leading up to this point. Mind you the lowest amount to tip was 18% which is insane since the food wasn't good and the service was bad. As we're leaving he comes up with 2 receipts for my friends that did not tip and he points to the tip spot on the receipt and says, "no tip." That was the cherry on top of this experience. (Promise, I did not mean for this to be that long but please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else in this area. There's so many great spots to try just not this one!)

The food selection was great, the quality superb, and service was wonderful despite it being a very busy Friday night.

It was good, but not spiced enough. Service was great, ambiance and prices were very well set. It is a good spot to try but just bare in mind that is not season well.

    Pad Khee Mao

This place was super clean inside and did not have an issue walking in and getting a table for 5. The pad khee Mao didn't have a ton of flavor so I added more soy sauce. I also asked for not very spicy and it was super super spicy, and I have a good spice tolerance. You can see in the picture how many Jalapeno seeds and red pepper is still in the dish. Had a bite of my friends curry fried rice which was very tasty.

Legit one of the most authentic Thai places, especially with their Tom Yum Goong. It was the same creamy goodness that I remember growing up with. I usually serve it with a bowl of rice and they are very generous with the amount of prawns in there. Their papaya salad is funky and delicious. I love the curry as well!

Luckily with the reservation we were seated right away. For the weekend visit it was so hectic and service wasn't the best. We didn't get our order taken until about 20 minutes after being seated. We were sitting and waiting for a while. Trying to flag down a server was impossible because of how busy it was. On the weekday service was much more attentive. Visiting on a weekday would be much more worth it since you can just walk in. Both times we ordered the Tum Thai (papaya salad), but the only difference is on the weekend we were NOT allow to adjust the spicy level on the salad. The server informed us that it was already premade so spiciness was no adjustment. I loved it but the spicy level was a bit too much for me. Everything came out relatively quick. All the dishes were very well seasoned and saucy. My favorite was the kor moo yang, tum Thai, and mango sticky rice! I would come back just for the sticky rice because it is so addicting!!!

There are window views from the restaurant, making for good people watching. Mainly metered parking available Medium to large sized place with dedicated sections for thai food (about 8 tables and 2 rows of bar style seats) vs for sushi and ramen but all under the same place/owner, can order from any menu - the decor on that side is super cute, fish cutouts, anime/manga decorated walls, decked out bars Got the scuba diving chicken from the chefs faves and must say it was pretty good - a bit on the greasier side but the aroma of the herbs and the spices from the curry really pull through, chicken is cooked very well, super tender and juicy. I got the "No turning back" spice level and theres a hefty kick - halfway into the dish my mouth def feels it but nothing too extreme (FYI theres a slight mala-like numbingness to it) The traditional papaya salad was crunchy and refreshing, sauce is tangy but not too overwhelming. The peanuts add a nice nutty element to it. There were hardly any dried shrimp, so wouldve like to see a bit more of that. Be sure to give it a good mix as the sauce and topping fall to bottom of the bowl To top it off, the service was great. Albert was really attentive and helpful - would come back if im in the gold coast area again to try the other menu offerings

Seating was a little tight like at Phodega, but not terrible. To view menu, you scan a QR code at the table. My husband & I ordered the following: - Grilled Squid This was really good! I thought it was going to come out like little calamari rings, but it was actually a decently sized whole squid, sliced with the tentacles on the side. It was cooked perfectly as it was not chewy or rubbery. The flavor was great, especially with the paired Thai-spicy seafood sauce. - Crab Meat Fried Rice Loved that this was with real crab! & not the imitation crab. There were bits of crab meat throughout the rice and then topped with a big lump of crab meat. It came served with a lime & yummy fish sauce with fresh Thai chili's. - Bamee Noodles with BBQ Pork without broth This bowl of egg noodles had a slightly sweet flavor to it, served with a fox amount of BBQ Pork which was also nice & tender! It was fried chicken leg quarter, served with black sticky rice. - Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango LOVED this! It was a great way to end our meal! I loved that it came with extra sweet sauce! - Taro Tapioca in Coconut Milk Cream This was great too! It was actually a warm dessert. The menu described it as "Tapioca pearls" so I was expecting the tiny little clear boba balls, but it was cubes of like glutinous rice. Which was not bad! I liked it a lot; it reminded me of Ginataang Bilo Bilo (#iykyk if you're Filipino)! Overall, a delicious experience! We would eat here again!
