My grandmother experienced severe fraud with cactus plumbing, we called Tip top to come out to inspect what the other company did and Dillon the GM got an experienced tech out here to give us a reference of what the job should have costed from a premium company. The cost would have been half and they gave us essential suggestions of what needs to be corrected for an incredibly reasonable price for the work to be redone up to code the proper way. A driver for the company was driving recklessly on carefree highway on 12/18/2025 at 3:28 pm. the driver with no reason and no cars in front of him cut directly in front of me and if i did not hit the brakes abruptly would have caused a accident and damaged my car and hit my wife on the passengers side. i followed him to get the license plate but he quickly turned off the road. i called the manager and reported this issue and asked him the driver explain why he did what he did and see if this could be handled internally. i asked for a email response was told i would receive the next day. i have not , i going to file a complaint with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and the Arizona Motor Vehicle Division-- Driver Behavior/Condition Report . i hope this is not reflection of how this company does business read more

After writing a negative review about being ripped off for a grand after less than an hour on site, and less than $60 in parts, during regular hours, the manager apologized and reduced charges by half. The work was to repair a broken hose bib at a galvanized pipe on a slump block wall, so I had to stop all water immediately. Called IPlumbAz sending Dillon and Mike. Mike shaved off broken threads with small cordless rotary saw, added coupling and new ball valve ($25-30 part) in less than 15', while Dillon watched. Then Mike replaced 2 ($15-20x2 parts) leaking wall mount faucet cartridges in house. That actually took 40'. Glad I heard back from management, but sad that it took a bad review to get bill corrected. YELP works! read more

We have a Grohe shower faucet system that was in need of repair. I had called other plumbers that could not fix the issue. I then decided to call Grohe for referrals to plumbers in my area and Desert Foothills Plumbing was on the list. They came out, the plumber was at our house the entire day. He took out the thermostatic valve, cleaned up a corroded pipe in the wall, and left with our faceplate and valve, saying he needed it to order the new parts. The day of work cost us $1500. The following week we received an email with three new choices of replacement parts. None of which were Grohe. Each of the three choices were priced from $1800-2000 for the install. I called Desert Foothills and asked for an explanation which could not be given. I then asked for the original plumber to call and explain what he actually did the first time he was there and explain the costs associated with the new pieces to be installed. Crickets..I sent a follow up email last week 4/2/24 to have him call my husband and also to bring our old pieces back. Again, absolute silence. If we were to select one of their options for the replacement, we would be in over $3500. We cannot get an email returned or a call back explaining the work that was done or the work to be done. So FRUSTRATING, and very poor business practice. AND OUR SHOWER REMAINS UNUSABLE!! I will also be emailing Grohe to let them know one of their 'referrals' is bogus. UPDATE: We were contacted by Dylan of Desert Foothills Plumbing today 4/8/24. They will be coming to the house Wednesday to complete the repair. We are grateful for the quick response. We asked them to fix a leaking shower faucet. They send a young kid who had to keep calling back to his boss several times on the job For advice. After a couple hours and a $500 charge the faucet is still leaking as the guy leaves. We asked for another estimate and they want to charge $1300 then they re estimated at $800 basically to undo everything that was done the first time! We do NOT recommend this company and their poor service. Customers shouldn't be paying for on the job training! read more

When the plumber showed up onsite at the house I was quoted $1,340.00 to replace four existing hose bibbs. When I told the plumber that it was way too expensive he replied its not me its the company. Needless to say I did not go with the quote and paid the $89.00 show up fee. Its unfortunate as I used the company before and had a great experience and was very reasonable. At this point I would never recommend the business to anyone. The cost to replace a hose bib, also known as a spigot or sillcock, depends on whether it is a new installation or a replacement, and the type of faucet. The average cost for a replacement is $80, or between $55 and $105. The average cost for a new installation is $230 to $350. Doing it yourself can save money, but requires some plumbing skills. They were fantastic when our 3 year old Navien tankless water heater failed. Navien gave us a new tankless water heater. Desert Foothills Plumbing put it in. Although we were without hot water for four days, Navien delayed the process. I called Navien and they gave $500 for the labor costs. Finding the right plumbers and plumbing company can be tough. Each offer glowing reviews and say they can do just about anything, but only a few can deliver. Greg and his team came through for us in a time of great need. We were away on business and had some friends staying in our home. Our friends called and reported a lack of hot water. DFP arrived and trouble-shooted the problem on the hot water heater, which needed replacement (we were delaying it as long as we could, and it finally broke). A couple of days later, our friends called and reported no hot water again. Sending the crew back determined we now had a main water pipe leak. UGH! The usual route would have been to hire a company with special equipment to isolate the leak to save time and $, but none were avail for 6-8 weeks (is there a shortage of these folks?). Greg gave us some options, including having his ace plumber Kyle try to find the leak the old fashioned way (with all his human senses), which admittedly may take more time. We were in no position to delay, and we gave the go-ahead. Kyle found the leak in less than an hour! And he fixed it using only three small holes in our wall for access. Job well done! We have used other local plumbing companies in the past, but Desert Foothills Plumbing is far superior in our view. DFP is my go-to plumbing company now, and we highly recommend them. They came quickly and wore masks. The salesman was personable. However, I asked for a water heater that had a long warranty period and a good efficiency rating. What I got was a standard 6 year warranty. I was told by Desert Foothills that the warranty was 8 years, but checking with the manufacturer it is 6 years. The efficiency rating is 419 on a scale of 117 to 506. Lower is more efficient. Further, one of the screws on the door covering the thermostat won't come out. When I called Desert Foothills I had to leave a message. My message was never returned. read more

DFP replaced two leaky sink faucet's for me. Prior to doing the repair they advised me to contact Koehler to see if the parts were covered under warranty, which they were. This saved me about $100 in parts. Ruben arrived on time and promptly and professionally got to work. He checked the shutoff valves for me to make sure they were free and working. It took extra effort to remove one of the designer faucet handles that would not come loose without damaging it. Ruben was able to free up the frozen handle without damaging it. He replaced both valves and stems in short order, cleaned up the sink area and took care of the used parts for me. The pricing was very fair and the service was great. I have used DFP in the past and will use them again in the future. I would highly recommend them. read more
