I came on Yelp looking for a nail salon to get a pedi and fill in. Based on the number of reviews, ranking, and stars I decided to give Tip Top Nails a try. What a waste of $60+! Now, to be fair they are very friendly and nice and perhaps the bad job they did was because I was the last customer of the day, it was New Year's Eve, and they wanted to go, but regardless, I feel that no matter the circumstance or situation a job well done should always be a top priority. My pedi was more of feet soak, nails clipped, and polish. The technician who did my pedi was young and clearly unexpierenced (I had to instruct her how to remove my in grown toe nail and even then, I came home and did it myself). The owner told her to have another technician do it and that never happened. As far as my fill in, it was super rushed. The tech left them super thick, wipe, and lumpy. You can just tell she was rushing. In my 22 years of having nail service, I have never had a pedi and fill in with gel polish done in 45 minutes. I have no plans to return. read more

Very disappointed this trip. I have had good service here before, but this time I am not a happy customer. The pedicure turned out great. But my manicure was terrible. I walked in there with longish nicely rounded fingernails and walked out with short, haphazard shaped nails. The technician claimed she asked me "cut or file" and that I said "cut." I never even heard that question, I heard "round or square" and I answered "round." She started in with the clippers, and I said, "no! too short" but she doubled-down and got into the second nail, which now looks like a nail that someone had bitten down. At that point, I had to let her go with the clippers, and now I have short non-uniform nails, some round, some square, some half-and-half. Too bad, I used to like this place but will not be returning. Just glad that nails grow back... read more

This is my first time here after just moving back to Vero and I love it. The service is awesome, the staff is super friendly, and the prices are affordable. Well this quaint little salon lived up to its reviews in every aspect. I came in without an appointment needing a mani/pedi and was taken right away. The hubs and I stopped I for some pampering and were so pleased! I had a pedi with Quan and a gel mani with Kim. My feet and legs are more relaxed than they have been in a long time!! The hubs had a pedi with Megan and he said it was the best he's had in Florida. We will be back!! read more

I honestly have no idea why this place is rated so highly. I took a gamble and decided to go since it was at 5 stars, but was sorely disappointed. My manicure was rushed and looks sloppy, and the only saving grace was Quan. He was very polite and seemed to put effort in but at the end of it, my pedicure also looked sloppy. The environment made me feel uneasy and I kept hearing the manicurists tell their customers they had hairy legs... I mean, for $32, I expected a lot better. read more

Not a fancy place, but great value for the service. Came in with my 2 girls from a resort on the beach to get a pedicure on the cheap. Nice color selections. Booked an appointment but still had to wait a few minutes. Seemed that most there were regulars and everyone walked out with pretty toes. Been here twice since moving to the area. The first time I came I had Brandon and he did an amazing job on my nails. The second time I came the place was busier than before, which is good, though I felt like a disturbance to them. I was rushed through my manicure, the woman refused to shape my nails the way I asked, complained about how busy it was that day. I just moved to Vero Beach a few months ago. I was lucky to find Tip Top Nails. The salon is clean, they offer you water or tea. I have been there for nails and toes and each time its done with absolute perfection. Very clean and pleasant place and the services they offer are great. read more

I have had many nail appointments in my lifetime, and this was short of average. It is a very small place and the atmosphere was okay. My experience began with a manicure. I should have known better to continue when the girl used the tools that were already at her workstation. I am assuming they were used on the last customer. My manicure was good, basic and unblemished. Now comes the part that brought me to reviewing this establishment poorly. I opted for just a polish change due to the lack of sterilized equipment. I had just had a pedicure the week before, so all was good. The girl did not remove all of the polish along the edges of my nails. I asked for a pink and white polish. After I left I could notice the lack of detail, and although the polish was pretty, the color left behind made it look awful! I have never complained about anything, bad haircut, poor service etc! But I was really unhappy, so I went back. She told me that the color had stained there and that what I really needed was a pedicure! She removed the pink and white, really worked in the acetone and lo and behold clean perfect nails! They did repaint my nails with color, and they look very nice, but if she just would have removed all of the polish in the first place I would not be writing this review! BTW Foxy nails in vero beach sterilizes all there equipment, my usual place....was too busy today I will never return to Tip Top Nails.....Foxy for Ever. read more
