Great service, very professional! The crew they sent out took out a dead tree very quickly and neatly. Quick, friendly service would hire again. read more

I needed two pine trees removed from the front of my house. I contacted a company whose card was left at our door. It was a small operation but they had pretty good reviews. I got an estimate that seemed reasonable to me. However, I wanted to get another estimate. I saw the Tip Top name and knew it was a substantial company. I remembered that years ago they parked some of their trucks where I worked. I thought their estimate would be high but was pleasantly surprised. It was a little less than the first estimate. When the crew arrived, they made quick work of their task. They displayed good teamwork with everyone knowing their job. I was impressed. So much for my thinking that Tip Top would be more costly just because of their professionalism and reputation, they were not. read more

I had my trees in my backyard done Friday Aug 24th. They came on time and did the best job. I could not ask for more. The estimate that Jason gave me was less then I had thought so had a couple more small things done in my front yard. They are the best. They cleaned up EVERYTHING and SO HAPPY!!! read more

This is great company. I had such a fantastic experience from start to finish. Very prompt replies, should up exactly when they said they would from the initial quote to the trimming. I would not call anyone else. read more

I've had Todd come out twice to give me guidance on our trees, and he was extremely nice, patient, and knowledgeable. This is a company that displays integrity and courtesy--increasingly rare qualities in today's business world. read more

they might be arborists but an arborist is not the one that will do the pruning, shaping. my tree got butchered. they retuned some of the money but my tree makes me sad whenever I look at it. read more

I am a resident in park. This week, this company is in the park, taking pine trees down and trimming them as well. There happens to be a huge pine tree directly in front of my porch, so needless to say, their trimming of this tree left my patio, my fencing and yard in such a disarray. In this process my fence post has been torn off and the top of another fence post was torn off, the connection of the posts on my patio was pulled out of place and what I had on my patio was not placed back to its original after they had finished. Oh, and the pine cones were everywhere. I would never in a million years recommend this group, I was really disappointed when I returned home from work to see this mess! Beware!!!! read more

Well 3 trees and 6 hours later, they are gone and left our yard so much better than it was before they arrived. We had to have some trees removed that were taking over the whole area over our well. They had grown enormous. Called Tip Top and they had Chris out here giving us an estimate within 2 work days. We received a quote for a fair price and set a date. Four workers arrived promptly at 8 am, worked steadily for 6 hours and left the hillside clean, completely free of debris. They were all very courteous and wore masks - which I really appreciated. Even my picky husband was pleased. He's still standing outside admiring the great job. I can highly recommend this company. read more

Crew was quick and efficient. They were very professional, polite and addressed all my concerns about how our tree would look after they trimmed it. Ever since the first call to Tree Top, we have experienced honesty and integrity. We are very appreciative would highly recommend them. read more

These people were amazing, the Arborist was fast to come to the house, and scheduled the work fast the next week. The workers did a great job and took out a palm tree the size of China, cypress trimmed and another tree fixed, Awesome job , I would recommend them to anyone, real professionals and decent pricing. Seriously you will not be disappointed. The cleanup was spot on, you would never know they had been in our yard, it was cleaner than the week before. They left my place spotless. So happy with this company !!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

The crew was able to actually complete the entire job (removal of the old tree, grind out the stump and plant the new tree) all in the same day and almost two weeks ahead of the planned schedule. Very professional. Took great care to not damage the surrounding landscaping. Worked hard to get the placement of the new tree just as I wanted. Top drawer outfit. Very pleased. Won't use anyone else. Highly recommended. read more

We've lived in Santa Clarita for over 20 years. We first found Tip Top when we needed our trees pruned and didn't want someone to pull up in an unmarked truck, pull out the chain saw and chop the tops off our trees. Tip Top does it right. The owner Tom Baal, is a Certified Arborist who knows his field. Here's why we like and use their company: 1) Preparation: Tom came out ahead of time and gave us a written estimate on site, broken down by each job. If you have three trees, he'll price out the work on each one. Pricing is very fair for what they are doing. You're getting someone who cares about their work and wants to make your yard look beautiful and keep your trees and shrubs healthy. Going with a low-ball offer from a drive-by pruning company can damage your trees and spread disease. 2) Safety: Tip Top guarantees their work and protects their workers. Safety is their priority. They use harnesess, hard hats and proper tools and equipment. Their workers are insured for their safety and yours. The crew is overseen at all times by an onsite supervisor. 3) Punctuality: They arrive on time every time. We've used them for many years and they have never been late for either an estimate or an appointment. 4) Respect: They shred and clean as they work. There is never a big mess left till the end to clean up. Everything is blown or carted to the street to shred and then swept up. 5) Education: Tom takes the time to let you know if a tree or shrub is diseased and needs to be removed. He'll let you know what plants thrive in our area and which ones don't. Don't go with the first low price you get from someone driving by. It's not worth saving a few dollars to have someone damage your trees by doing the job wrong. If you care about your home you'll give Tom at Tip Top a call first. read more

Shortly after contacting the company, Chris from Tip Top Arborists came out to give me advice on one of my trees. Although there was no work scheduled, he spent the time talking to me and even let me know my tree did not need pruning. I appreciate his time and advice, and would feel very confident contacting TIp Top for any tree needs in my future. Thank you! read more

Tip top was great and professional! I got a quote and they revised it 3 times for me because I kept changing what I wanted done. They were very patient and sent me quotes via email. I decided to have three trees removed that were too close to the house and a 4th one trimmed. Tip top did an amazing job and I would highly recommend to anyone in the SCV. They had everything done and cleaned in a couple of hours. It was like the trees were never there! read more

I was very reluctant to have someone come and work on my trees. Tip Top came with very high recommendations and so I gave them a try - 10 years ago. They did a fantastic job and left the yard cleaner than when they got there. - AND THEY DIDN'T BREAK ANYTHING!!! Now I have them come and look at tree disease problems, bug problems, fallen limbs and even dreaded tree removal. They show up on time and very courteous. They answer all of my stupid questions and really do a great job - and they don't cost any more than the random tree trimming guys that leave cards in your door. Excellent! read more

Tip Top did a great job removing a dead tree and trimming several other trees. Their prices are reasonable, their service prompt and efficient, and their employees knowledgeable. It was important to me that they were certified arborists and and had insurance in case of any problems. i would certainly recommend them. read more

No hassle service. Came in, gave me a quote before they left. Their office called me the day prior to give me a heads up and time that they were coming the next morning. The crew showed up on time and ready to work. After their Safety briefing, the crew helpped me move some stuff that I over looked in preparing the area for trees to be cut down. They didn't complain once. Five trees, five 40 foot plus trees done in less than four hours. These guys are professional, get down to business kind of people. This wasn't an easy job. They had to cut trees down between my pool and my house. I can't say enough, a BIG thank you to Noe and his crew. I would recommend these folks for any tree cutting job. read more

I am so happy with the work they did removing six oleander stumps that were an eyesore after getting my backyard done. They were on time, very reasonably priced and left absolutely no mess! I will definitely be using their services again. It is so refreshing for a local business to really care about their work and who are true professionals. Thank you Tip Top! read more

people do your homework so that you have some idea what to look for with any thing you do in life, a foundation it helps. generally what has been said about this company is true but when they visited my location to do the work that they did well as i might say i wound up calling the police to have there one supervisor leave my property as a result of lying to me about part of the job. I will not give details of who and what just that there were issues between myself and this unsaid person who did not know how to deal with my issues other than lie to me the person most affected by the project. Five Stars for the Crew inc supervisor as a Crew member. Fast and surprisingly quiet which my neighbors i am sure appreciated. So if you just want the work you need done period then this is why you get these people to do it. There are not many tree services out there who hold a good reputation. read more

I am very happy that I found Tip Top Arborists. I have now used them twice to prune my magnolia tree. They were prompt, neat and customer oriented. When they pruned my tree last year, the blooms following were fantastic. As far as price, they are VERY reasonable. They try to combined jobs when possible in order to provide the best price for the customer. If you are looking for there services, I highly recommend them. Give them a try! read more

We had a very large pine tree overhanging the house we wanted removed. Todd came out for the estimate, was very knowledgeable. What we liked the best was that he gave us options. He let us know what each procedure would cost and then let us decide on what we wanted done now and what could wait until later. Most of the time a company will give you one price and say take it or leave it, no choices. Another thing that made us decide to use this company is they provided copies of their license, workers comp, liability ins. and even a bond. They cut the wood to fit our fireplace insert and stacked it in manageable piles. They did not mess around, were very professional and got the work done in only a few hours. They also cleaned up everything when they were finished. I am very picky when it comes to hiring people to work and I would recommend them and I will use them again. read more

Wow, so nice to deal with a professional, courteous company. Everyone I dealt with from the first phone call was awesome. Their service exceeded our expectations. They left the area so clean you couldn't even tell where the trees were! Thank you Tip Top! read more

I needed 4 trees removed, 2 needed extensive pruning and 2 stumps needed grinding. I had a couple other companies come out and take a look. I can say hands down that Tip Top Arborists provided the best consultation, communication and was extremely budget friendly. The crew arrived and completed the work on time, cleaned up nicely and exceeded my expectations. The best recommendation I could give is to say that if I needed pruning or tree extraction again I would not have to get any additional quotes and would need only to go straight to these guys again. read more

Jim and his team at Tip Top are tight! Tip Top is organized, efficient, meticulous, thorough, and courteous. Nothing was left undone! Tip Top removed a nearly twenty year-old tree, ground up the roots, made certain all sprinklers were in perfect working order, and raked the front lawn. Jim spent time making sure I understood all my options so that I could make an informed decision before moving forward. Tip Top is named appropriately for they are tip top and outstanding! Thanks so much for the excellent work! read more

The Tip Top crew was excellent! They arrived on time and did a beautiful job trimming our trees which were overgrown. They cleaned up thoroughly and exceeded my expectations. Super nice guys too! read more

Our entire experience with Tip Top has been fantastic. Cozette was so patient with my questions and was always so polite and courteous. Chris came to our house to provide a free estimate, the tree that we always thought was a California Pepper turned out to be a Chinese Pistache! In any case the crew arrived on time and performed a crown reduction to the Chinese Pistache, a thinning of an Olive Tree and a Crepe Myrtle. There was an incident with our neighbor who is not a big fan of the berries the tree drops in the Fall and tried to get them to cut more off of the tree but they handled it very professionally and assisted me in explaining to my neighbor the pitfalls of cutting a balancing branch. If you want a company that takes the health and wellbeing of your trees into careful consideration and provides education along the way for a reasonable price then please, please call Tip Top. read more

This group did a fantastic job. We had an enormous tree fall on the house following wind and rain. Chris came out and reviewed the situation. He provided a competitive quote and followed up quickly. He recognized the urgency of the matter with more rain on the way. Chris also provided information on trimming three other trees and removing another that was dying. We also had a tree fall at another property and they handled that as well. The crew was prompt, friendly, incredibly clean and organized. They took care of all of the trees, removed all debris and left firewood. This company was on top of the situation and we would highly recommend them as well as use them again ourselves. read more

After years of having Tip Top trim my many trees, I am devastated. I had three beautiful established olive trees. They trimmed two of them. One of which is doing very poorly. How surprised was I to just have the owner of Tip Top come by. He is going to look into what is going on with my poor tree. Thank you Tip Top folks read more

I needed a large tree removed from my front yard, I called Chads Chippers as I have used them for the last 5 years and have been satisfied with their work and cost (I recommended them to my neighbors and did get them additional business). The bid I received from Chads was the highest of 5 bids I received (all companies were licensed, bonded and had insurance). To my surprise Chads bid was six hundred dollars more then the lowest bid I received. Tip Top Arborists was not the lowest bid but was still four hundred less then Chads. I chose Tip Top as their reviews were outstanding and after they completed removing the tree I know why. They completely removed the tree, roots and ground the stump. The biggest surprise was when they removed all the roots around the stump (20' diameter). They could not grind the roots but removed them by hand and did an outstanding job. I would recommend Tip Top to anyone considering removing or trimming a tree. They may not be the lowest cost, but they are certainly the best. You get what you pay for. read more

Jim was quick with his replies. Office ladies are kind, accommodating, and helpful. Jim provided a very goo estimate $$i believe they do a lot of city work, but I loved how they were quick to come out, and quickly knock down two decent sized trees in my backyard. When I showed up after the project was completed, I was like "woooow." It was very clean and they even loaded chopped firewood into the back of my truck. They even offered, "we can leave you more on the side of the house, neatly stacked." I regret not telling them that I wanted to keep more firewood. Oh, and their payment method is awesome. Nobody was calling me and bugging me for payment. They offer an online payment service. Thank You Jim! Satisfied customer.. read more

For months we have been trying to find an arborist who was willing to cut our trees so that it was safe. It was extremely dangerous and we had contacted approximately 4 companies. All 4 of them said no. When I contacted Tip Top they quickly called me back and scheduled someone to come out. When they quoted a price to me, it was reasonable and Todd Walther knew what he was talking about. The proposal was then printed out for me on a professional looking proposal and was given to me. Because he knew what he was talking about and was professional, I put a deposit down immediately. Their deposit minimum is 10% which I think is reasonable and the rest is due on completion of the job. They are state licensed and they have workers comp and liability insurance. I think that is super important, because if anyone gets hurt while doing the job, I didn't want to be on the hook for that bill. When it came to the date when I was originally scheduled Randy the office lady helped us to reschedule because it was raining that day, however they immediately rescheduled me to the following Tuesday! It was a quick and easy process. They showed up to my house at 730 and might I say also ON TIME! I love it when people show up on time for work that needs to get done. Jose R had come to my door and did a walk through of what was going to happen and asked me if I had any questions and answered them. They finished before noon and they cleaned up by picking up the tree trimmings by sweeping and using a air blower to clean up the dust/dirt in my driveway/back yard. Then Jose came to give me a walk through of the work and gave me suggestions on when to get them trimmed on a regular basis. Thank you Tip Top for an amazing experience and thank you for your professional staff. GREAT JOB! read more

They are the best. Extremely knowledgeable which in this day and age is saying something. Had our weeping mulberry trimmed and it now looks spectacular. Also had juniper type trees done and again they look great. Wouldn't have anyone else touch my trees. read more

We'd recently moved into a new home (at least it's new to us) and knew there were a couple of issues with the landscaping, largely ignored by the previous owners. We contacted Tip Top Arborists and received a quick and very reasonable quote for the work. We were scheduled quickly and the workers were there early to start our job. They were done in about a third of the time I thought it would take and the work was worth every dime. I can't recommend Tip Top Arborists any more than this! read more

Tip Top was right on time for the estimate, their arrival time and they finished when when they said they would and the cleanup was great. They removed a total of nine very mature Italian cypress trees in our neighbor's yard on our side yard which were a fire hazard to us and had done damage to our walkway. We had had a previous quote which was much higher than what Tip Top quoted. They also did a general cleanup of several large trees in our own yard. We particularly appreciated the fact that he was licensed by the state Chris did a great job overseeing the project. read more

Impressed from quote to clean up. Jason provided an in-depth and timely quote which was right in the ball park with what we wanted to spend. Jason, Jose and crew arrived right on time by taking out a large but very dangerous pine tree, trimming a huge oak and thinning out an overgrown poplar. They were quick, everyone had a job and in less than five hours the job was done. They left the place cleaner than what it was when they arrived. Even did a couple of things that were not on the quote but never changed the price. We asked them to take of two limbs from the large oak at the last minute and rather than grumble they jumped on it. What an outstanding job, would refer them in a heart beat. We are extremely satisfied with Tip Top, highly recommend them.... read more
