The man who did my pedicure was amazing, he paid close attention to detail and didn't go short on the leg massage. The massage chair was REALLY nice to sit in! However, the woman who did my nails skipped out on making sure they're perfect. She didn't get close to my cuticles at all, rushed through it tho my friend and I were the only ones there. She also didn't cover my thumb nail in top coat, so now I have this weird dull patch from the acrylic. Afterwards, when I went to go wash my hands, apparently she was talking rudely, as I walked away to the bathroom, missing the hand washing station (my first time ever getting nails/feet done). I didn't know any better. My friend was getting her feet done by a different, kind woman and she had to tell the other nail tech to be nice, and that woman left to go to the back so I wouldn't have to deal with her again. I'd come back, as long as that woman doesn't come anywhere near my nails. The woman with the close cut hair and the man were fantastic tho, I'd recommend giving them a try! read more

Unfortunately with all this covid bs going on I had to venture out to a different salon because mine isn't open. I'm kind of disappointed. The staff was extremely friendly which is why they get two stars bu but the lady rushed through my nails so fast I really am unhappy with how they came out. It already looks like I need a fill because she didn't go all the way to the cuticle and my right ring finger came out crooked and they are all really bulky. She did my nails in 20 min because I don't think they realized they made two appointments for 11 with only one nail tech which meant she just hauled ass through mine :( I hate spending $50 on nails when they come out crappy. read more

I guess they don't take walk-ins. I went here twice and really liked them. Went back a 3rd time and they were busy. Ok, i understood. So I came to Luxx Nail Bar and really liked the pedicure I received from them. They took me in even though they were packed. So I gave Lee Nail Bar another try today. One customer was in there when I walked in. Asked for a pedicure. The girl at the desk went to the back and returned and said that there are a couple of appointments coming in and she wouldn't be able to get to be until 530. It currently was 315. No I did not wait around. I went back to Luxx. And, I'm now sitting here enjoying my pedicure. I thought I would try to support thos fairly new place but, after this happening to me twice. That twice too many! read more

I will never visit this Salon again. I went into today with my daughter and I requested a refill on my nails with acrylic with white and pink and instead, I got my nails filled in with white acrylic and then they put shellac over the acrylic. I didnt request this at all. My nails look absolutely horrible. My nails are yellow and look absolutely ridiculous. When I comforted the lady, and told her that I didnt want this, she kept repeating herself and saying shellac is good. We spent $145 today for 2 basic pedicures, a manicure and my ridiculous nails. I have never been so disappointed. I will never go back here again! read more

We were passing through New Braunfels and saw this nail salon. I went in while my husband got us some dinner and had. The staff was quick to get me in a chair and I was ready to jump back into the car when my hubby came back to get me. Nothing but praise here! read more

Horrible, horrible, horrible!!! I went in for a shellac manicure- 1. she didn't even take off the previous shellac polish, she did a half ass job and part of the previous nail color was left on there 2. cleaning of the nails weren't done properly 3. the nail color I picked didn't match the nail menu and when I asked she kept saying she had to do another layer - 3 layers later, still not the same color as the menu 4. polish on my skin around the edges of the nails 5. bubbles on the topcoat For $30 bucks there, I've had much better cheaper elsewhere. read more

Friendly staff & The pedicure was great, no complaints at all on that. BUT If you have pointy / "stiletto" nails I definitely don't recommend getting them here. They came out like hooks and curved very far down for Some random reason but hey with practice they could always get better read more

It's beautiful spa, very clean and staffs are friendly . I was pampered myself here with special pedicure and dipping powder. I really love my services . I'll come back for sure. read more

So the other day me and my friend went here to get our nails done they messed them up entirely. Cutting my fingers cutting hers short after she said to stop and they kept cutting them shorter. So I messaged them on messenger and asked for a full refund and my nails off they told me to come in so we did. Well I go into the salon show the lady the messages and she sits me and my friend down and starts taking them off, then continues to ask if I want a shellac manicure after she already knows I'm pissed! Then we get finished go to the register to get our refund and first she tries to make me pay for the take off of our nails and then stands there and argues with me that they don't do refunds and no one messaged me when I have the proof so we both lost $40 because they lied. DO NOT GO HERE they will lie to you and take you're money and not give it back. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would! Went in for lash extensions and it was the worst experience. She made them way fuller than I asked and put so much adhesive on that my eyes hurt. When I asked her if she could redo the corners because they looked too full, instead of using the proper adhesive remover, she plucked the dried glue with tweezers. Not only did this cause me incredible pain, but I lost a chunk of natural lashes. After I left, I immediately went to Amazing Lash Studio where they removed them and gave me a discount on a new set because of how bad of shape my eyes were in. If you don't want to be in excruciating pain and lose your natural lashes then DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! read more

If I could give no star.... I would! I'm new to the area and thought I'd give this place a try. Let's start by saying for a basic shellac mani pedi I paid 100.00 for a really horrible job. The man who was doing my hands was very rough and very rude. He was in a big rush. I told him to slow down and I told him I do not like the way I was being treated or the job he was doing. He started telling the other people there something in their language. And completely ignored me. Lesson learned. I will not be going back. read more

Went to get a full set of acrylics with shellac, which was $50. Usually at other places they shape the nails with no additional charge. Here, there is a hidden fee for nail shaping. Your $50 manicure will turn into $55. I had exactly $55, $50 for the service and $5 for a tip. I called before to ask about pricing, so I knew I had enough. Don't let them scam you out of their hidden charges. My nails look good, but the hidden charge turned me off of this business. read more

My nails look SO BAD. Online the price for acrylic was $35 but I ended up spending 60! They're uneven some are skinny some are fat. The edges aren't even straight. 0/10 would not recommend. read more

One star is too high of a review, if I could give 0 stars I would. I got a acrylic shellac manicure the other day and it was by far the worst manicure I've ever experienced. 1) the receptionist or assistant put the long acrylic nails on and then left me sitting there for an hour while my friend got her nails done. I couldn't use my phone or anything. 2) when it was my turn the lady said she would hurry and I told her no rush at all I was in no hurry, but she still rushed. And held my hands very rough and dig her nails into my hands. 3) When she was filing, it was really rough and uncomfortable 4) When was using the electric tools (filers/smoothers she was going very fast and cut up my cuticles and fingers and didn't even care 5) she didn't trim down the excess skin or cuticles 6) the polish job is very messy If you want a really good manicure or pedicure in New Braunfels go to Lotus River Day Spa. I am always very impressed with their service and leave happy. Tip and toe was the opposite reaction totally not worth the $50 read more

When we first got there I was sitting waiting forever and there's was 2 others people in there. A guy started on me but when 2 ladies came in stopped and started doing their pedicures. Then when I was finally able to get them done they turned out HORRIBLE. So bumpy and uneven just plain ugly. I probably could've done them better on my own. AND WHATS CRAZY IS I COULD'VE PAID THE SAME AT LUXX AND HAD WAY BETTER NAILS. JUST GO TO LUXX NAIL BAR. read more

I review this as a walk-in : super cute and clean place, very friendly staff and was able to accommodate me for a mani pedi. My person was super but he was also managing so he had to walk away quite a few times. I got one if the best manicures ever. He was very meticulous and made my real nails look fake! Absolutely perfect. read more

My daughter and I just got the best treatment here I would highly recommend them if you want a great pedicure this where you need to go

I had a manicure at Tip and Toe Nail Spa. I was very disappointed! I had scheduled a deluxe manicure and told the lady that did my nails! Oh yes she would do that! Nope! Not only did she use gel polish on my nails when I wanted just regular polish but it was just a normal fast manicure! In two days my polish was chipped on almost every nail! I will not be going back for any of their services! read more

Loved this place! My daughter and I did make an appointment but we saw walk ins. Very friendly and so attentive. Our new place for sure!

I was desperately needing to get my nails done and did not have time to drive to my regular nail salon which is located in Schertz. I looked up places here in NB and found this one. It had a good amount of 5 star reviews and some where even from people I know so I decided to give it a try. I had a very pleasant experience. There was no wait and I did not get my nail techs name but, she was very sweet and made sure there were no mistakes on my nails. On the other hand, my little sister and cousin did not have the same experience. My cousin got a male tech (again did not get his name) that did a bad job and was very inappropriate. Once we left the salon they both told me how uncomfortable he made them feel by talking about porn and even telling them to come in after store hours for a "free lap dance." They are both girls that do not like to speak up or like confrontation which is why they did not say anything about it then. I'm outraged and disgusted, they were sat across the room from me or else I would've spoken up about it right in that moment. We will NEVER be returning and I can assure you I will be informing the salon of their employees behavior. read more

I have been here three times for nails and toes! Love it! My dipped nails last a full 3 weeks.

If I could give ZERO STARS I would!!! After a long day all you want to do is go and get a pedicure and pamper yourself a little bit. My day was over the top! I called at 7:15 and asked if they had any availability for a pedicure and their response was "no we're tired we close early" mind you their hours state they close at 8! I am very disappointed in their customer service and will never take my business to that salon! read more

They tried to charge me for something I didn't order and then the technicians were yelling across the room at me and the cashier

One word: DISAPPOINTING. Waxed brows, lip, and chin. Still have hair on lip and chin. Dip nails are uneven, lumpy, crooked and very poorly done. AVOID THIS PLACE. Plenty of other options in the area. read more

Came to this place to give it a try since it was closer than the other salons i requested a pedi and full set things were going well till we started getting towards the end of the services , the man did great however he forgot to do the deep cleaning of the sides and under my nail i kindly asked him if he could do that and he did . While i was getting my pedi the nail lady was already installing my nails i was rushed to the nail table and never put under the foot dryer :/ leaving my toes sticky and a waste of a pedicure since now i have to repaint them . While the lady was doing my nail i noticed both index finger nail tip to be noticeably crooked to the point my husband as well commented i asked the nail lady if she could remove them and just start over she insisted that she wasnt done so i waited .still they were crooked because nothing will change crooked nail but removing . So she filed and filed and still crooked so i requested again please remove and start over instead she filled the top of the nail down and put a new tip on top of the old tip . I again asked could she just remove the old tip and start new . And this point i was done with the whole situation and requested to leave the nail ladly roughly cut down the nails and forcibly put my nail in acetone stinging my nails as well as insulting me saying it my nails and that my nail is fat ive gotten my nails done for at least 15yr never never had an issue she then talked about me to the other lady angry and upset i left paying for my pedi only . Once arriving home i realized what a mess i was end my nails look like a train wreck and my toes looked like some one rain over them due to not being dried i called and mari said i could go back and get my money back . Once i went for my money thing changed mari suddenly didn't remember english neither did anyone they just insisted "NO MONEY! WE DO NAILS OVER!! of course not i want nothing to do with this place nor will i give them a second chance so I'm out my money and have to go else where to fix . read more

so I had got my nails done ( full set of acrylics) on Tuesday of jan the 28th for 28 dollars (20 percent off) and tipped 5 dollars which leads to 33 dollars total. Not even a WEEK later 3 nails are broken (without even hurting which means to me terrible quality of the glue). So I go in today 2/5/2020 to repair the 3 nails. There was a severe language barrier and they ended up doing a COMPLETE new set, which I did not want to begin with so as I notice she's doing that she tells me she'll take 5 dollars off for me just coming in not even a week after getting a full set. so the service is done and its time to check out and she tells me the starting price is 35 dollars than she subtracts the 5 dollars which obviously leads her to 30 dollars than she does the 20% off and she gives me the total of 33 dollars ....and at this point I am just in shock to those obvious math skills and how my price is still crazy and more than I spent last week and that's WITH OUT A 4-6 dollar tip......so were arguing and at this point the lady is so convinced I owed that much so I just gave up and I'm never going there again!!!!! my nails have ALWAYS lasted about 2-3 weeks I was just flabbergasted with this whole experience. I DO not recommend!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
