My son was there about a solid two months before things just completely just went off the deep end. At first the daycare was super nice and communicated any concerns but then it got to the point where i was getting messages everyday that my child was a source of hitting or pushing , this is his first daycare ,first time really being around people his age. The messages got to a point where i left work to go basically pop up on the situation to see for myself. Not only was my son learning the bad behavior from the class that he was in but the source of the problem was a kid that belongs to the front staff of the daycare. Most times when dropping my son off i would see this other kid smacking,scratching this other little boy in class. Fine we moved past this point. The thing that bothered me the most is the have a system where they can upload what your child does throughout the day and nothing would ever match up. They would put on there that he had breakfast at 7:30 but i never would drop him off before 8:00... i would pick him up most days and he would come home acting like his starving and when it got brought up the response was oh no he gives us no trouble with eating even though i KNOW he can be a picky eater. It would never fail i would pick him up everyday with FILTHY hands. I know kids play outside but why is my son caked in mud and dirt! Why am i bringing in two packs a wipes a month if you guys can't at least clean his hands with that!!!! MY LAST STRAW was when i picked my son up got him home and saw the worst diaper rash which he's about to be 3 coming up.... he's never had a diaper rash EVER because he gets changed on time with me. My son has been here since he was 12 weeks. All of the girls are so sweet and it reassures me throughout the day he is being well taken care of. They are flexible with your child's needs and your own. It's state regulated which is a huge plus. I wish the amount of babies allowed was smaller but the amount of attention and care they give my son makes that less of a worry! Definitely recommend read more

We LOVE Tiny Tots. After going to 2 other daycares first, we finally found the one! My LO has been here for almost 8 months and every time she moves up a class I feel sad because I fall in love with the teacher of the classroom before. I'm on the hunt for a good daycare. A daycare that I can trust will keep my child safe and happy as well as sending them back to me disease-free. Let me just say that I was in there for all of 5 minutes before running out. First, when I walked in it smelled terrible. I don't know if they had been cooking(perhaps cauliflower) or if the smell was that of dirty diapers. I honestly couldn't be sure but it was very unpleasant for a first impression. Then, at the very start of the tour I was taken to see the toddler Room. One of the staff members was changing a diaper. I was really hoping for the best but was quickly disappointed. She removed the diaper and placed the child's bare bottom directly onto the changing mat, grabbed the new diaper to put it on, and put the child's clothes back on before calling for the next child to take their turn. Granted, it was just a peepee diaper but that's not a good enough excuse. This is why kids come home with all types of toddler transmitted diseases. The daycares are not practicing proper hygiene. There was no disinfectant wipe being used to clean the plastic pad between children. Complete cross contamination. The place may have looked cute but germs shared from buttocks to buttocks is by know means cute. So very unsanitary to say the least. when it comes to human excrement, proper sanitary practices must be applied. That was my second of all. I didn't wait for a third. I was done and the only way I would go back in there was if I was requested to teach appropriate sanitary methods. I don't know how these facilities pass inspection. This is a health issue and needs to be addressed. read more

The facility is a very gloomy and closed-off space, despite the colorful decorations and stickers on the door. The day care is essentially one long hallway with cement walls and a number of wooden doors, which remain closed. There is no natural light and no glass to allow parents or the management to see what goes on in the classrooms or to see what the teachers are doing at any given moment. The front doors remain open and unlocked all day long and anyone can come and go from the main entrance or into the classrooms without question. They require a sign-in and sign-out sheet, but without someone manning the front desk at all times, they have no real way of knowing who is coming/going in and out. There is no webcam or Internet monitoring available for parents to check-in with their children throughout the day. Parents and workers are not required to remove their shoes or wear shoe covers when going in and out of the nursery. There seems to be no policy in effect whatsoever to curb the sharing of germs---to include having us all use the same pen and sign-in binder, which is presumably touched by every parent (and we've seen children signing it too) throughout each day. When we first started attending, all of the cribs were touching each other from wall to wall with no space in-between. The appearance of the nursery mats and equipment was beaten up and dirty, with the swings (only 2 in the room) being so low on batteries that they did not work properly or at all. We often observed the staff manually pushing the swings because management did not provide the correct number of batteries. On more than one occasion we found other workers mopping directly next to infants who were laying on boppies on the floor, or we found the smell of bleach/cleaning chemicals to be pretty overwhelming for little noses to be breathing. In addition to clothing, bibs, bottle parts, and blankets getting mixed up or going missing on a regular basis (despite being properly labeled), we were told one of our bottles marked "Breast Milk" was given to another parent to take home by accident one afternoon. This made us wonder if the correct bottles were being fed to our twins throughout the day, which is even more of a concern when it comes to breast milk. The most alarming factor was the number of children which were consistently packed into the nurseries with only one full-time teacher present, to include mixing ages from 6 weeks to over 12 months in age. The allowance of "drop-ins" is a convenience for some parents, but can be a nuisance to those who pay for full-time slots and wonder if their children are getting the adequate care they deserve. There's no way one teacher can keep track of 7+ kids, with 3-4 of those children already on the move and the rest being infants. It was common practice for us to find other infants sharing the same cribs as our twins--without changing the crib sheets between uses. We were called to pick our son up early one day and we found another child wrapped in his personal blanket, in the crib regularly used by my son, on the same sheets used by my son. The teachers dismissed my concerns by saying that the management approved putting that child in my son's crib and allows for children to use the same cribs on a regular basis. In addition, this was an infant we had never seen before. Shortly thereafter our twins came down with a serious cold and we kept them out of the facility for over a week. read more

Shortly after we left this terrible day care, I think they fired the long-time teacher who took care of the infants in the nursery. She was honestly the only reason we stuck with the place for a few months, since Cindy and her daughters were difficult and immature to work with. A lot of sick kids and unhappy parents in this day care... makes you wonder what's going on when no one's around. read more

do not take your child to tiny tots. tiny tots academy is very unorganized and very unprofessional, the management is very unfriendly except for one person. they do not know how to run a business.. I just recently took my child out due to the staff. they fail to communicate with parents, they hire anyone and stick them into a classroom. they have mold in the nursery and the equipment is broken/damaged. the doors stay unlocked all the time they don't care who comes in and out the decorations are nice but no sunlight seeking in. they just recently fired the teacher that was in the nursery and she was the only reason why my child stayed at tiny tots. I wouldn't recommend taking your child here. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. read more
