Despite her not taking our insurance anymore we were going to be paying out of pocket for XRays, an Extraction, AND Nitrous oxide which would total up to more than $600 in cash. This was no problem for us despite the large amount because we strongly believe in paying for good care. While on the phone the office manager Carol began laughing at my disabled children being sick and barred us from the practice we've been going to for YEARS. This is in the midst of my daughter is having a dental emergency. Why were we barred? We were 15 minutes late due to our disbaled children having a virus, us visitng a Doctor first, and trying to reschedule to ensure the safety of everyone else. Carol's behavior on the phone was nothing short of disturbing and disgusting and I will be filing a complaint with multiple agencies as a result. Edited to add: Carol was laughing about this over the phone before attempting to tell us what she *believes* Dr. Sophie would say. And finally, the crown Dr. Sophie installed failed by cracking in half while my daughter ate a slim jim. This is the only cause of the dental emergency; failed dental work.

She was so young I hadn't even considered finding a pediatric dentist yet so I called a location close to us and we were seen a few days later to make sure everything was okay. The experience was...fine. Nothing in particular was negative about it, but nothing was great either. She's two now, and when it came time to schedule her first cleaning I decided to try somewhere new. From the second we walked into this facility we knew it was different. My daughter was captivated by the ocean theme, loved it! Every member of the staff was exceptional, they truly know how to work with children. They showed her every tool, let her touch them and engage, and they talked to her and not above her. We left that day feeling so encouraged. This past weekend my daughter fell and broke her other front tooth. We were brought in quickly and Dr. Pagé was kind, patient, compassionate and thorough. An extraction was needed and although that situation isn't easy for anyone, we genuinely knew my daughter was in great hands. We are so thankful for this office and every member of its team.

I had a routine filling, and after the dentist drilled it, the hygienist did the filling. Which I didn't even know what allowed. The filling didn't cure right, it turned grey, and they had to redo it. When they went to redo it, they caused an infection. So I had to get a root canal on a routine cavity that they messed up. If you have anxiety about going to the dentist, they will only make it worse. They don't care if your bleeding or in pain, and they are very rough with their cleanings. They also had the audacity of billing me for a filling they messed up twice and left infected. There are much better dentists around, for a more fair price!

The whole office is set up for kids, from the waiting area to the special dental chair. We have to go back for a little work, and K is excited. All of the staff are great, and it was a very good experience. I've been with River Park since shortly after they opened and I have sung their praises since that first visit. The practice is so CLEAN and aesthetically gorgeous; you feel like you're walking into a spa! The treatment rooms are bright and full of windows. The chairs are comfortable and you even have the option to watch an iPad during your services. The staff there is even better than the experience! You should consider yourself lucky if you get Missy as a hygienist. She is a gift and her smile is just the icing on the cake! The kindness that exudes from Dr. Saurer just shows that she loves what she does and she cares about her clients. The best part!
