I recently sold a huge lot of clothing and children's items to this place. The employees were complimenting my items when I walked in, but I was shocked to find other customers with my items already in their hand. I arrived within 30 minutes of receiving the message that my items were ready. I wasn't even given the chance to accept their offer before they'd put my things on the floor and started to sell them. I did appreciate that they offer 50% sell price as this was higher than their competition, but it was really off putting to see they'd already began selling my things before I'd accepted their offer. read more

I was surprised by the selection in the small store. The prices were good--not fantastic but certainly not bad either. The condition of everything I saw was really good which I appreciate. The clothes smelled fresh and clean. I purchased a couple things and will definitely be back to shop. The girls inside were super nice. Wasn't crazy about the prices, however they were not the worst. I somewhat expected it due to the location of the store. The quality of the clothes were 50/50 in my opinion. It was a really far drive for me (40+ minutes) and personally it just was not worth it. I'm in love with this.... kid's store! :) So I heard about this store a while back, but never made it in until recently. For about 3 years now, I've been taking my kids' clothes over to Once Upon a Child and buying clothes from there as well. Had I visited Tiny Tadpoles when I first heard about it, I would've been going there instead! The store was easy to find. It's right next door to Athens and an OMG-so-yummy and cute bakery/ice cream place (perfect for post-shopping). Before walking in, there was a sign up-front that says, "Come see the cutest store on James Island".... and you know what!!!??? That was exactly my thought when I first walked inside. IT IS a CUTE store! The displays were nicely set up and the decor was definitely cute. They had everything from clothes, swings, strollers, bouncers, Halloween costumes, cute little hair pieces, mommy-daughter jewelry, maternity clothes, books, toys, shoes, etc. The quality of their goods are fabulous and their prices are even more gorgeous! I was expecting this store to charge an arm and a leg for their stuff, because everything was just so darn cute and in perfect condition, but my little boy and I scored some really good deals! My 4 year old had a cheesy smile the whole time he was in the store (I'll admit, I did too). He scored construction boots that didn't seem to have been used at all for just $3.50, toys for 25 cents and 75 cents, a hat (I forgot how much, but it was at a great price too!), books... I would've gotten more, but I had to control myself! lol. But really.. there were a lot of cute girl dresses/clothing that I wanted to get for my daughter too. The ladies working there were super sweet and very helpful. I'll definitely be back very soon. read more

Super neat little store for those of us who have grandchildren and are on a budget! Plenty of items that are gently used, Yes it does vary from time to time. if you dont see something you want on a Monday come back on Wed and it might be there! Yes as a grandfather sometimes you dont want to pay full price for toys or other items the kids will outgrow since they only come here once a year in the summer They are located over by Athens on Maybank hwy , plenty of parking. I do recommend this place for new mothers and families and a very tight budget. Very nice folks work here. read more

Hands down the BEST kids resell boutique in Charleston. Always clean, super friendly staff (they go above and beyond to find me items I need) the prices are great- not too cheap, not too expensive... Just right. I also love how I'm guaranteed to go in there an item that has been checked for stains and recalls. I've also brought items to sell, and I've gotten back a good amount of money! I believe people need to read the paper the owner hands out, she specifies what items she doesn't take, that she likes things folded and in a basket neatly.
