My expectations were for her to address my concerns, provide even a small level of empathy and I'd continue using her services. Instead, Nicole provided an unacceptable level of customer service and professionalism as a whole. I was unhappy with my dogs grooming. His eyebrows were cut VERY short! He's a schnauzer so they are KNOWN for their beards and eyebrows. Not to mention all of his legs had the weirdest cut. It was long and somewhat fluffy in the back and short almost completely shaven on the front. I was shocked because in the past he's NEVER been cut this way. His last two grooming appts were done by another groomer at Cradled Pups. I can't remember her name but she cut my dog much better than Nicole ever has. I was actually disappointed when Nicole initially called to reschedule our last appt because the other groomer had a death in the family. However things happen and I completely understood. As another reviewer pointed out, her rescheduling process isn't the best by far. Instead of trying to provide some level of empathy for my concerns, Nicole basically told me she's a groomer not a vet. "You should know your dog is matted". This was her EXCUSE for the HIDEOUS cut she gave my dog. When I asked if she saw she'd have to cut so much of his hair off why didn't she call me before doing it ( I was working out of town when she came), she replied that she actually charges more for matted dogs but she didn't charge me. LOL as if she did me a favor!!! I advised her that's not good business for her. If my dog requires extra time or service you should by all means be PAID and you SHOULD NOTIFY me. All in all Nicole seemed to be having a BAD day when she came out to groom. Apparently, she was pressed for time and became irritated that OUR gate was locked when she was finished. Mind you my niece came out to collect my dog literally within 1 min of her texting me he was done. I know because I was watching the cameras. The camera at the front gate caught all of the FIERY ATTITUDE she had to give. She was LIVID that the gate was locked ( As it ALWAYS IS). She always calls or texts when done for me to collect my dog. That day was no different from any other time she's come out to groom. Here's a tip for you NICOLE...don't own your own business if you aren't prepared to pick up the slack WITH A SMILE! YOU CHOSE this as your profession, things happen...employees quit but business must go on. Also, speaking badly about your employees/ex employees, only makes YOU look EVEN WORSE! Needless to say we will NEVER use Cradled Pups again!

We found a sweet pup that was what we had been looking for and were grateful they approved us to come meet her. We were glad we could bring our other dog to be sure they meshed and they did! I am grateful that our new fur baby came chipped and spayed and up to date on shots and heart worm prevention. I can tell Red Collar truly cares about the animals they rescue and are making a difference caring for hurt or sick animals that others would just toss away. We are grateful to have found them!

Considering the city's crisis around animal safety and wellbeing, one would think this rescue would have prioritized follow up to ensure a safe and loving home for this pet, however they don't seem to have the ability to manage the application and review process on a basic level so I would not trust them to handle this important process from beginning to end based on this initial interaction.

I came in contact with John in early March and he had me fill out a puppy application. We then spoke on the phone and he was able to determine what I was looking for and what puppy would fit my needs. I decided to put Luke through obedience training with John and to my amazement, Luke was well mannered and he listened to all his commands upon picking him up. John has a tremendous amount of experience and advice with this breed and you can tell he is dedicated to this business and he enjoys it I'm very grateful to Hunters Creek Retrievers for the new love in my life!
