As a last beacon of hope for the shirt, we took the shirt here and this place was able to REMOVE all the stains! Felt very safe and confident to leave my laundry if I had to step out for errands. The laundry services attached have attendants there too. (Unlike The Laundry Room close by which had no attendant, no bathroom, no large dryers and in a location with no neighbor shops or neighborhood so I'd worry, as a woman, to be left alone). This business serves the function of getting your clothes washed, but there is always an issue. My issue with the Ye Olde Washaus locations, including today, is the maintenance of their machines. Today I used 2 small machines and one is working fine. The other has considerably less water, which I'm actually not surprised to see. Disappointing, but I don't really come here much anymore, I guess I hoped that some things here would be better. It honestly gives the impression that the owner is ok with the low maintenance... & I can bet that the owner doesn't wash clothes here to know all of the operational issues. I am not trying to bash this business chain, I just feel like they could be a little better. I would recommend this business but, just be aware of the issues. Ye Old Washaus is a Great Place! I don't care what the other review says, the guy doesn't know what…read morehe's doing, and he's to cheap to use 2 dryers. The girls there know what they're doing. They are courteous, professional, friendly and efficient. The store is kept clean and most machines functional. You have the option of dropping off your laundry and having it done for you, which is quite convenient if you can afford it. I go there to have my comforters done, which is only about $22 for a queen size comforter. Which is very reasonable comparatively. I highly recommend Ye Old Washaus! 100%
